The FSHOD Genesis

Welcome to the FSHOD Blog!
The genesis of the term 'FSHOD' stems from bit of comedic wit that I experienced almost 20 years ago when, after some moron committed an act of extreme 'dumbassicity', I suggested that the world would be a better place if the 'Flying ShitHook of Death' would remove said moron from the realm of the living, thereby eliminating a threat to the peace and welfare of humankind. In my mind, the FSHOD was this giant hook-like thing that would appear out of thin air and pluck the deserving offender away, the symbolic thorn removed. The image above is a result of the imagination and skill of friend Zebowho, who realized that the hook had some other technology supporting it.
The genesis of the FSHOD Blog is another story and, like the FSHOD I imagined for 20 years, the intent is still to be of benefit to humankind. The story goes like this:
For years, I have followed the work of Richard Hoagland and have been a regular visitor to his website http://www.enterprisemission.com. I, like many others, was delighted when in June 2005 Mr. Hoagland posted a link from that website to the 'The Captain's Blog'. While participating actively during the life of that blog, there was the opportunity to communicate directly with Mr. Hoagland and, perhaps more importantly, to communicate with other like-minded individuals and develop relationships with them. Most rewarding!
In mid-October 2005 Mr. Hoagland inexplicably ceased communicating on his blog. By the first week of November the Captain's Blog was already too cumbersome for use and there were many of 'the Crewe' who expressed the desire to continue our relationship in a more amenable environment. Frustrated at the thought the these desires were not being acted upon, I took it upon myself to create a new blog and effectively 'steer the Enterprise into Drydock' at http://enterprisemissiondrydock.blogspot.com/ . To my amazement, this action was well received by 'the Crewe' and considering the lack of a celebrity host, has been a success.
After almost two months of no communications from Mr. Hoagland and in light of certain developments seen at TEM, there has been a sentiment among the Crewe that we sever the ties to TEM and the Captain's Blog and establish our own identity. Many have had suggested ideas that involve varying degrees of webmaster skill, technological expertise and financial commitment. Some of the more comprehensive schemes may, in the future, be realized. In the belief that 'Simpler is Better' and also in agreement with the desire to 'move on' and in response to suggestions by some in the Crewe, I have now created the FSHOD Blog.
As this relationship amongst the 'Drydockers' has evolved, so now does the meaning of the term 'FSHOD' acquire a new significance. Drydocker Starshipconstellation I believe suggested the idea of 'Fearlessly Seeking Honest Open Disclosure' and I think that this aptly describes the sentiment we share and ultimate goal that we seek.
For it is our contention that governments (and, by logical extension, religion and perhaps the corporate world) derive their authority and power from the people they govern. As such, it is incumbent upon these entities to be open and honest with the people. We submit that governments, including that of the USA, have not been forthcoming with the TRUTH on a variety of differrent subjects. We also submit that this failure to disclose the truth is not in the best interests of the people whence the power to govern originates.
We therefore band together in the effort to promote disclosure of the truth on a wide range of topics. We propose to do this using the tools of education, debate, spiritual enlightenment and political activism...and the occaisional activation of the FSHOD!

SWORD Re: your final post. Are you talking about the Jewish oral tradition about the Legionaire called Pantera / Pandera (something like that)? Who had a bastard son named Joshua from a Jewish girl, and said Joshua was crucified for rebellion against Rome? I read it was discussed in the "Jesus Convention" about 10 years ago.

The best way to stay on top of the issues is to stay one step ahead of them. Well, it ain't no three legged race here but no one is even coming up close.
We need to build some common ground but that does not mean we all goose step to the same opinion. All it means is we know where we are coming from because we do our "homework" (John) which is to say you don't have to espouse any one opinion you only need to listen. Posters who are "off the " page and out of the loop should be chastised (at least a couple of times hehehe). I try to go to everyone's links but if they aren't bringing anything forward, I loose interest and come back for another feed. Try to post links that move the "conversation" ahead. Post the whole thing if you have to but a link is as good as a bookmark is as good as it gets. Freedom is built into this process. Anonymity will have consequences and one of them for sure is timidity on the part of the poster.

You can go into your blog settings, click on Template and withing the template make changes using HTML.
They only way to make the About Me section smaller would be to use HTML to adjust the font size lower whiloe in Template. I just deleted
the About Me section for FSHOD, because if someone wants to see my profile, they can just click on my UserId in the comments.
Your other issue...Not sure exactly what you're asking, but I interpret it to mean that you want to have your 'original post' always at the 'top'. I do not think there is a setting that allows that. However, using HTML, it is possible to create a 'header' and put it at the very top. For example...
Go to FSHOD blog...
On your Windows taskbar at the top of te screen (if u r using Windows) click VIEW and the select SOURCE.
This should open up a Notepad window.
About 2/3 of the way down, you can see under an < h1 > tag, where I entered the text about "In this blog we discuss Space....."
Using that same formula you could have an 'opening statemnt' that is always the first thing te reader sees.
I am no HTML expert, in fact my forays into blogspot here have been my first experience using it. It helps that I have been a computer programmer for 25 years, but I am strictly novice. However, if you know less than I do, I would be pleased to help. You could send me an email with your phone number and a time to call during normal business hours and I could call you and talk you thru it...or you could grant me admin rights and we'd do it together over the phone.
You can also go to Blogspot support and email them...I did once and received fairly rapid and helpful advise.

Sometimes when I try to add a pic into one of my blogs, it gives me an error. Is that the problem you are experiencing? Here at blogspot? Clarify, please.
If so, try one of these 'fixes':
1. Try it again. I've had adding a pic fail, tried it a second time, and it worked.
2. Try reducing the size of your jpg. I am not sure if there is a file size limit to what you can download into blogspot, but when method 1 fails, I simple resize the image (just a little bit at first) and it usually works.
Again, if those simple measures fail, contact the blogspot support via email.

Wow, I go away for a little and apparently all sorts of stuff breaks loose. And here I thought I was supposed to be the Chaotic Instigator. :-)
Seriously, though, great new blog, Sunking (and WUNNERFUL conceptualization, Zeb), and I am also greatful for a little distance from RCH. While I still hope for great things from him, more and more it seems I was more on target than even I knew when I suggested in the drydock that he was another "agent of the system" aiding and abetting implementation of the controls and apparently skipping town once it became apparent we wouldn't be quite so easily led. I really do hope for a better explanation, though, as Unca Rich played a fairly large role in my continuing process of awakening and it really curls my shorties to think it was all just a sham. Really.
Anyway, sorry for the extended absence. The move went off just fine and my wife and I are now happy Knoxvillians and away from the increasingly oppressive atmosphere of Oak Ridge. I must confess to a certain trepidation to a continued existence in a primarily government run town. Not as in your face as the famous "Get out!" of the Amityville Horror, but fairly close on the weird feelings scale of something just ain't right, hehehe. After the move, though, I came back to work to find my job duties increased giving me less time to play with you guys and not yet having a net connection at home has left me out of the loop, as it were. Hell, I haven't even been able to keep up with me own blog as I would like.
Bob: So glad to see you back! Same reasons apply as to why I've been similarly quiet in the Smoking Room. I did give a call when I first heard the news and spoke briefly with the Mrs. She seemed to find it distinctly amusing when I introduced myself as "one of those weirdos from the internet" and I do hope the humor helped during a particularly unfunny period.
Crypto: You mentioned before my hiatus that you had a potential guest blog in the works with RCH re the Loominaughty (and thanks to you, Jazz. I am really honored you thought so highly of my flippant remarks to keep going with that like you have, hahaha) and me wonders if we might get to hear your thoughts on the subject now that TEM appears to no longer be interested in the blogosphere at all (or their own website, for that matter).
SWORD: While I haven't had the time to read thoroughly enough to comment appropriately, I did enjoy parts 1 and 2 of your series but have to agree with some of the others that you really seemed to lose steam on that last one. Wha' hoppened?
Please no hurt feelings on everyone I have missed for I want you to know that I have been missing you ALL. But if I do this right and proper I fear I will hijack this commentary in a most woeful fashion, if I haven't already, and I don't think that would be entirely nice.

I agree, on the outing C2C. They are just another purported "alternative" media source dumbing down and pasteurizing anything and everything. Any time that I have seen or heard Sitchen it seems he presents himself as being the definitive source for all thing Sumerian and of the Annunaki. Whenever something occurs in the mainstream news, he always adds this; "Readers of my books will already know the answer...." and he'll quote the relevent book he has written. You have to admit he has some big cajones and it seems he has a strong almost fanatical (don't know if that is the right word) in his research. Whether it is through certainty or beligerance I am not sure. All in all though, he makes some very, very interesting arguements. I was fascinated.

Now to business. Blogsite evolution has proceeded so rapidly that I am re-posting my last response to Part 3 of Sword's Messiah blog.

Sword, even if this dark alternative to the story were true, Jesus was still God Incarnate on Earth and had the power to forgive Mary of these sins and much more (including YOURS, by the way). Mary certainly did not have the power to save or condemn the "soul" of God Incarnate either by truth OR lies.
In Matthew 28, before his last ascension, Jesus states that ALL power in Heaven and Earth is vested in him. My neighbour Indonesia is the most largest Muslim country in the world, with about 200 (two hundred )million people, and another 30 or more millions Muslims in Malaysia, Brunei and Southern Phillipines. My door (*SWOOOOSH*) is always open to anyone who would like to do a guest blog. I may exercise editorial judgement on the topic, but I think I've adequately demonstrated an open mind ... as Iontru02 has often noted, the best thing about this group is the multi-faceted knowledge-, experience-, and thought-based nature of the group.

Ya know, if you want to have 'religion', Mormonism is not bad at all. You WILL feel wanted and needed...the first thing they do is give you a 'job'...Scout leader, teaching sunday school, 2st Counselor to the Sunday School President...SOMETHING!
And it's a good 'family' church...Can help establish good relationships at home and at church. Plenty of activities for the youth.
It's a good 'survivalist' church. The organization is standard everywhere and there are enough hands in the fire that should any level of leadership 'disappear', the survivors have ready and trained folk standing by. Plus the program for ensuring the survival and health and welfare of the members is great. The day after Katrina, Mormons from Jacksonville were on their way to the Gulf Coast, you can bank on that.
Mormons doctrine also is the only one, I think, to openly state a belief that there are other beings on other planets, and that God is based on a planet called Kolob.

On the face of it, it's a very good religion. Certainly no worse than any other religion and far better than most.
'Course, the key to it is having faith that Joseph Smith was visited by the Father and the Son. If you can accept that, then all else makes perfect sense.

Well, I never thought is suspicious, when the Ministerial servants (some where men, twice my age), who were doing twice the work of these so called elders (who were somehow 'spiritualy' elected in the congreationg (will go into that another time)), yeah, we were all dismissed. To let the elders have a 'private' meeting.
Well, it's strange to only now, because, looking back then, there must have been some way that Masons of certain lodges, where actually doing the recruiting of the elders.
That secret meeting after the deacons had left the main meeting was likely the interface into the similar religion, that used the name Jehovah.

Ostensibly, the geneaology work is done to support the doctrine of Baptism by Proxy. The Mormons believe that those who have died without being baptized, are essentially relegated to a 'spirit prison' wherein they are taught and have an opportunity to accept the gospel. 'Good' Mormons will do their geneaological work and then submit the names of their ancestors and request that they be baptized and have the "Laying On of Hands for the Gift of the Holy Ghost" in the temple, BY PROXY. For example:
When I was 14, my family made our way from Sarasota on a trip to Salt Lake City, where Dad (A High Priest in the Bishopric of our 'Ward') was scheduled to attend 'Conference' (The Big Show, presided over by The Prophet, with the Council of the 12 Apostles and all the Big Whigs in attendance!). Like most Mormons, you went to the closest Temple you could, just in case the tire blew/plane crashed/boat sank and you approached the Pearlies minus the Temple rites. So we went to the Mesa, Az. temple where Mom and Dad were Married For Time and All Eternity and us children Sealed to our Parents...this way we can recognize each other in Heaven and again be one, big, happy fam-i-ly!
ON to Salt Lake...before the trip we had gone through a series of meeting with local and regional officials and obtained a Temple Recommend, without which you are not spiritually or phsycally able to enter the temple. I had mine and had permission to do the Baptisms for the Dead. In all temples there is a good sized baptisimal font. The one in Salt Lake is rather lavish...a large basin/bowl (About the size of 2 BIG hot tubs?) set atop 12 gold oxen (let the esoterically minded gnaw on THAT!).
Dressed all in white, I enter the tub with an Elder who will perform the rite. He administers the baptism to me in the name of the person whose name was submitted ... i.e. "'Charles Green', by the authority vested in me through the power of the Holy MelChezidek Priesthood, I baptize you in the.......". I was them baptized by complete immersion in the water.
I then exited the font and sat in a chair by a table. The guy at the table was running the show, giving the names and doing the paper work. Another Elder did the laying on of hands ... i.e. I, seated and head bowed....he behind me, places his hands on my head and delivers the prayer to grant me the Gift of The Holy Ghost. Amen and Amen.
A very solemn and dignified AND spiritual ceremony...especially for me (or any other dunkee), for by your service you help to usher your brother- or sister-in-spirit into one of the many Heavenly Kingdoms! I personally did this that day for 72 members of the Green family! (Yeah...I let them dunk me 72 times! Laff it up, you clowns!). I got to see the interior of the Temple (what a great 1890's looking cat house that would make!) and got to see the Prophet David O. McKay, too! A banner day for THIS young Mormon!

The book of Mormon seems to to be the target of a lot of debunking among "mainstream" historians and especially cultural isolationists. They tend to be the same people who jump on anybody who claims that Europeans or Asians made it to the New World prior to 1492.
It has been claimed that the Book of Mormon is a fake because of so many passages that seem to parallel or mimic the Christian Bible. I however have never been able to rationalize in my own mind why somebody in those times would undertake such a monumental task of "inventing" such a religion out of thin air. If nothing else, Joseph Smith must have had an amazing mind. The whole business about golden tablets being buried under a rock in New York state and describing a detailed history of the immigration of the tribes of Israel to the New World required some thought and it is difficult to dismiss it so lightly. Especially in light of the so-called "Michigan Tablets" and other supposed artifacts which seem to dramatically show Old World connections. The clear evidence of massive copper mining in very ancient times in the Great Lakes region has led to theories that it was this source of copper that must have fueled the Bronze Age in Europe.

Ever since I have started reading about this stuff, I have been slowly composing a hypothesis of a possible motive for the "creation" of the Mormon religion that could be very compelling and provide the motivation for such a massive effort in the creation of this religion. Mormonism in it's very precepts contains the foundation for the Zionists to claim that THEY were the original settlers from the Old World and therefore might lay claim to a "right of discovery". If they could ever succeed in pushing this stuff as authentic history, it is concievable that Israel might try to lie claim to North America. It may have been the vision of the early Zionist predecessors that Mormonism would be only a temporary religion to be used to establish this right of discovery. It may be fortunate for us however that the whole idea of "right of discovery" had much more authority in the 18th and 19th centuries than it does today. At this point in time, most people would simply view it (hyopefully) as an item of historical interest. You never know though, as Mormonism is defintely on the rise.

A city mave have a one or more 'wards' (like a parish). A number of wards in a given region will be formed into a 'stake' (like a diocese). Every stake has a Stake Patriarch (SP). The SP is, as I recall and I may be off some, a High Priest in the Melchezidek Priesthood and a member of a group in the Stake called The Seventies; he was probably a former Bishop of Stake President. So not only does the SP have credentials, but is considered to be one of the most spiritual of the spiritual.
Having gone the the usual series of conferences with ward and stake officials (like the Temple Recommend above) a date is set for you to receive your Blessing. Theoretically, both you and the SP are to fast and pray for 72 hours prior to the event...well, maybe it's 24...I was hongray!

Carbon dioxide is killing us off one haemoglobin at a time. Once your red blood cell has absorbed CO it rolls around in the bloodstream apparently unaware it brings around an empty chamber in this game called russian roulette. Until that red blood cell dies, it is yet another empty chamber and when all the chambers go empty so goes the "news".

I've read in the bible that it warns about the 'air' of this system of things.

even back there, there are numerous examples of 'intelligence' that resulted in 'over-estimates' that resulted in MIC profits... one that comes immediately to mind was in regards to the numbers of long-range Soviet Bombers. Those numbers ran so high that funding was immediately made available for more bombers on our end.
Intel and the MIC = $$$$$$!

The Kolbrin is on my list of things to read after I finish the Enuma Elish and some other ancient texts. I heard the show about the Kolbrin on C2C and found it interesting. I will definitely be studying it after I finish with Mr. Sitchin. Sitchin has some interesting theories but there are a bunch of things that do not add up that make me go hmmmmmmm.

Ya, TB. I have read it, twice now. I printed a copy off the net several years ago when it was not really being publicized much.
There where several orgs at that time (now gone) hosting info on it. Most recently, Marshall Masters at YOWUSA and Jim Mccanney have been squabbling over WHO has the 'real' version and who has cloned etc.. yada yada... I rightly don't give a rip really.
It is quite an incredible read for the most part, either way.
Some parts are very obscure/hard to follow.. others are quite moving.. many are strange as compared to the 'usual' sacred texts
and some.. are downright frightening/terrifying with very graphic/descriptive destruction info.
I have a whole bunch of background info on it as well..
Kinda like a cross between the dead sea scrolls and Lord of the rings.. fascinating stuff for sure.
I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in all that we here discuss.

Origins of The Kolbrin
For those that have never heard of The Kolbrin you will obviously be wondering what it is all about. Even those who are aware of the book and have read the brief details of its history on the Internet should be asking the same question, simply because its history is far greater than what has been published on the Internet so far.
The origins of The Kolbrin can be traced back to a large collection of manuscripts salvaged from Glastonbury Abbey during an arson attack that was intended to destroy them. As fate would have it, the once considered heretical works were preserved in secret, since they were thought to be destroyed during the fire.
Since then, much of the original text was lost due to time, the elements and human error. Each caretaker though, has gone to painstaking efforts to preserve what was left and to fill in the gaps with the correct knowledge in order to preserve the original meaning.
During the early fourteenth century, John Culdy, the leader of a small community in Scotland, owned The Kolbrin and took steps to ensure its survival beyond his care.
The Kolbrin eventually became known as The Bronzebook of Britain, and the contents of additional salvaged manuscripts known as The Coelbook were later incorporated into it to form the modern version.
In the early parts of the twentieth century, the responsibility of The Kolbrin’s preservation rested with a small religious group in England that never gained much power due their very restrictive membership requirements.
In the years leading up to the First World War, only two copies of The Kolbrin existed in book form, written in biblical English. Only part of the original survived to the Second World War, when the books were thought to be worthless junk and thrown out by their owners, only to be saved by fate then discarded again as works of the devil, and salvaged by destiny before any irreparable damage was done.
Until 1995, The Kolbrin was in the care of The Hope Trust, of which little is known. The current custodian is The Culdian Trust, which was formed in 1980. The Culdian Trust inherited The Kolbrin and other books when the Hope Trust was deregistered around 1995 in accordance with its constitution. Around 1992, an elderly man from the Hope Trust who is now deceased put together the current draft from the originals. The Culdian Trust members did not get to see the original manuscripts on which the most recent version ofThe Kolbrin was derived, nor do they understand how they came into the elderly man's possession or where he sent the originals upon completion. They believe based on speculation that he may have been a member of a hermetic order probably based in England, so the original manuscripts may have gone back there. Despite the continued ambiguity of The Kolbrin’s origins, a Culdian Trust representative that knew the man for approximately twenty years held him in high regard and found him to be a man of extremely high integrity.
Even with a history as chaotic as this, The Kolbrin remains a very large and priceless collection of information, which begs the question: Is it too good to be true?
