THE SHINING. An extraordinarily large—about 100 meters in diameter—object presumed to be ball lightning was caught on film by a park ranger in Australia. It lasted surprisingly long, about 5 minutes.- Abrahamson
In Part 1, I presented an overview and general description of the Ball Lightning phenomenon, along with specific case histories. The overall impressions left by these objects are invariably wonder, mystery and sometimes terror. They may seem almost supernatural. In this section, we shall present attempts at scientific explanations for these objects. We shall start by looking at the experience of Nicola Tesla with the ball lightning phenomenon. Tesla is widely recognized as a pioneering researcher in the field of high voltage wireless power transmission. It was in the process of working with apparatus designed for the generation of very high mega-voltages that Tesla began to encounter the ball lightning phenomenon. It was apparently not because Tesla had any particular interest in the study of these objects, but rather because of the destructive effects they were having on his high voltage towers and other equipment, which led him to explore the matter further. Thanks to FBI investigative documents obtained via FOIA and former TEM blog participant OB2, provided to me by ericswan, I can present the following insights into the ball lightning research experience of Tesla and his co-workers.
The last paragraph in the above excerpt describes a proposed process for the induction of resonant high frequency electric currents into warships so as to induce fireball production and destroy the vessel. This does not seem to be an idea directly attributable to Tesla, but one wonders if there could be a connection between this and the "Philadelphia Experiments" ?
I should point out that the vast majority of the FBI documents from which the above excerpts were taken dealt with efforts by that agency to procure the personal notes of Nicola Tesla after his death in 1943. Those notes which contain the real technical information about his research went to his nephew or were grabbed by the FBI which saw them as a national security issue, as Tesla had said that he could create an invisible high voltage wall along coastlines to destroy formations of enemy bombers that might try to pass through it.
In the final analysis, in the absence of the actual research papers of Tesla himself and because of the difficulty in translating the technical terminology used at the beginning of the last century meaningfully into that of the science we know today, we shall for the time being have to search elsewhere for a detailed theoretical model to explain the existence of ball lightning.
Such a model may now be available. The first page of a technical document showing a theory based on a Stable Plasma Toroid (SPT) concept is shown below. The entire document may be viewed (if you dare, as there are equations) at:

The assertion here is that ball lighting can be explained by these self-contained structures of closed loop electric currents acting as the outer boundary of a closed loop , self generated magnetic field contained within the outer ring of the torus.
But, it does not exactly look like a BALL, does it? Well, let us refer back to Part 1 of this blog, to the first case history of the English gardener who looked down at his feet and discovered that he had a bright, bluish-green little friend tagging along. Let us review part of his description of what he saw:
"Suddenly I seemed to be in the center of intense blackness and looking down I
observed at my feet a ball about 2 feet across. It was of a pale blue-green
color and SEEMED MADE OF A MASS OF WRITHING STRINGS OF LIGHT, ABOUT 1/4 INCH IN DIAMETER."
So, how might we get from a simple "spaghetti-o" toroid to a "mass of writhing strings of light"?
An answer might be forthcoming if we realize that it is not at all important that a PERFECT circular toroid be maintained. What IS definitely important is that the electron current loops and the contained magnetic field both maintain CLOSED paths. If I were to take one of these toroids, stretch it out and bend it into a figure 8, is there a reason why it would no longer function as an electromagnetic containment vessel ? Since the two closed loop conditions would still be maintained, I contend that there is no electrical reason why this figure-8 structure ,or even a much more complicated structure, should not continue to function as an energy containment vessel. Let’s suppose I give one of these toroids to a kid and let him/her keep stretching it and tying it into as many knots as possible (no kinks, please !). Do you think they might eventually come up with a knotted ball of "writhing strings of light" similar to that which was described by the gardener ?
The other related alternative is to grab a whole bunch of SPT’s, stretch them and tie them together in knots.
In the natural setting, however, it is probably the extreme E-field levels present in lightning bolts that result in the simultaneous formation of legions of very long SPT’s that bind together and "writhe" due to the fact that their magnetic fields are not perfectly contained and they can attract or repel each other at short distances.
It is here that the SPT phenomenon may interlink with "Birkland Currents", a plasma phenomenon described by plasma cosmologists who put forth the "Electric Universe" theories. According to this view, the sun is sustained by a convergence of intergalactic plasma currents and the glow of the sun is electric in origin with it’s radiation originating from the outer regions , with no "fusion reactor" activity interior to it.

The striking close-up photo below of the solar surface showing myriads of densely packed filament-like electromagnetic structures writhing about should raise some suspicion in the observers mind that the same basic electromagnetic processes at work in the small, 2 ft lightning ball with it’s mass of writhing string-like filaments observed by the English gardener in his back yard are the same forces driving the sun and the stars . Any one of you who sees a lightning ball in the future might contemplate that they are looking at a small sun and a bearer of ill-tidings for the rigid, ego-centric science of our age .

Digging a bit deeper into the ball theory the thing that struck me about the hi freq interacting with the low freq was that it reminded me of things coming into phase. For instance, in audio when we are recording the same source (ie gtr amp) with more than one mic, we often have to position the mics until the signals are in phase. Once that happens, the sound will seem to "come alive" so to speak. Meaning, we get re-inforcement of the sound creating higher amplitude (volume) perceived and actually shown through our metering. Is this germane or just a good analogy. I have to admit the science of the ball lightning is a bit over my head scientifically. Credit due on the filament tie in with the sun. Nice out of the box thinking here. I know that wasn't your tie in, but including it was cool and helpful.

While it is from a period spanning some ~50 years, it is uncanney in it's content, in view of today's raging debates and activities regarding religion, government, control, escalations, disclosures. I do not agree with everything the author surmises from the data but have seen my own answers/meanings that are just astounding.
It has tied so many pieces together.. yet so many remain.. just so good to really KNOW that you are on the right track or, at least oriented in the proper direction.

I can't take credit for the free orgonite, only for linking to it I suppose. :-) Cece is a truly beautiful person for going to the expense and effort of making and shipping those little "peaces" for free. I'm surprised you got three!
Since you did though, I'd personaly recommend putting one on your bed-side table or other place near you while you sleep, try to keep one in your pocket at all times, and you could put the third in your car, give it as a gift, or stick it in your freezer with some ice cube trays full of distilled water and see if you get any ice stalagmites within a few days to a week or so. Cece's "peaces" might be too small for that particular trick, though.

Spider818, I'm glad you took the plunge, but I just wanted to pick a small grammatical nit (in the interest of clarity) regarding your having "ordered a free sample"...
I suppose you did, in some way, "order" a sample piece of orgonite which was free, but I think it's important for everyone to understand that orgonite's not "for sale" per se.
Yeah, there are a few people who sell orgonite ready-made online (and at least one who just gives it away for the asking, as you and B_U have demonstrated), but first, I am not one of them nor am I affiliated in any way nor do I materially profit in any way from the promotion of orgonite. Period. I promote it because I know it works and we need it buired almost everywhere ASAP, especially near the cell towers.
Second, the most important thing to understand is that orgonite gifting doesn't necessarily have to involve buying anything. You can make it yourself just as well as anybody else can, and it's more economical too. It's a simple matter of having the time or interest in braving the resin fumes to produce the stuff yourself.
Just wanted to clarify for everyone else's sake... thanks :-)

TB: Congrats on another kickass post. While I must confess that much of the technical jargon crosses a space approximately 3 to 33 feet above me head, you've certainly demonstrated, to me at least, that there very likely is more to the ball lightning phenomenon above and beyond the somewhat overly bizarre anecdotal material I've been exposed to regarding it.
I haven't checked out st911.org as yet, but in regards to the various 9/11 theories I would certainly like to add a site I found to that mix. It's http://loosechange911.com . Not a LOT of info there as those guys are peddling their own independantly made documentary about it, but I highly recommend checking out their video as, in mine own opine, it's one of the better ones I've seen. They don't try to do any kind of political axe-grinding, but rather take a remarkably unbiased look at the publicly available information and using just that manage to raise some serious questions and pretty much tell the lie to the official story. They do have a trailer available on the site, so do check 'em out.

Yeah, kinda I suppose. Orgonite balances all the ambient energy around you and in you whether you make conscious effort to or not.
I've found that pushing all my negative energy into a piece in my hand tends to make it go away more quickly and make me feel better faster than if I were to merely "ground myself" in the traditional way in which I am accustomed.

Any metal will do, but copper is widely-understood to be etheric energy's "favorite" medium, traveling more easily through it than other metals and generally attracting it better.
Steel is not recommended by orgonite-aware psychics/energy-sensitives, but I imagine it would still work.
Reich said never to use aluminum for an orgone accumulator since it tends to attract only DOR (Deadly ORgone, or negative etheric energy), but in the case of orgonite this is rendered moot, and in fact may be beneficial in that regard.
It's too bad the crystals aren't as useful on the surface of the resin mold as they are towards the center where they are squeezed more uniformly. Truly the only way to know for sure whether there's quartz in orgonite or not is to make it yourself, but after working with the stuff for a while you tend to develop an intuitive sense of the relative energy output of a given hunk of the stuff versus another, which leads to a better overall energy sensitivity.

Yes, is working fine now, nightstar. I added the Loose Change site as well as a link to me own blog. Hmmm, suppose I constructed an Orgonite object using an ARRAY of quartz crystals, instead of just one. Would that allow a proportionately greater rate of Orgone energy processing ? Also, I wonder if the orientation of the crystal makes any difference.

Orgonite.. the David Wilcock link is raising some very interesting questions and seems to be consistent with the postulations you have made about crystal structures vis a vis "orgonite".

Red Shift as "scientifically" understood, leads nowhere. The above quote from the David site, however, is breaking new ground. Blavatsky talks about galactic "pulses" at regular intervals that have remade the universe and roughly equivalalent to precession.. This may sound like a meta-scientific hyper spatial bullshit but her contention is that the galactic waves that have taken place thus far, has changed the molecular structures by adding an electron to the molecules with each compression.. An example discovered after her passing is the irridium event in palaeontological science where the galactic pulse actually left a signature of irridium in the fossil record. She goes on to saya that the "seventh" wave of precession will be the golden age.
I have worked as a lapidarist (gemstone cutter) since 1985. All of my work has been in the field of fossils turned gemstone. I have mentioned this before and do agree with you that quartz and other crystal structures can affect the electro magnetic fields in and around these structures. I do not come to the same conclusion about orgonite preferring zeolite which is an aluminum silicate or "quartz" structure with proven credentials; available world wide and considerably more utilitarian than orgonite. I did read the post that one of your "organic" gardeners posted on the subject and tried to pursue that writer further but the email and links were dead.
The gemstone that I cut and polished for 15 years is ammonite which interestingly changes colour as one moves through this crystal. The range of colour is the entire spectrum and red tends to be in the "millions" of reds.

I suppose it would make sense that something like an aluminum silicate, with metal atoms integrated into the crystal structure, might be a better alternative to pieces of quartz and metal shavings all jumbled together. I am wondering if it may have some properties of a semiconductor, as these are formed by such "doping" of pure crystalline silicon or germanium. If so, it will have altered energy bands and affect it's conductivity.
Crystallography is a science unto itself and I am sure that as a lapidarist, you have had to master it.
TB.. I have a several quartz crystals with some weighing 100's of pounds. I think the structure of a crystal is more significant than the material it is made from but then I have large crystals of flourine that would obviously have no benefit in their chemical characteristics. The piezoelectric properties of zeolite are at the molecular level and are considered very weak and working within the structure. It will however, deodorize a barn or landfill and do it very well which brings up the issue of our sense of smell. How is it possible for a crystal substance to cleanse the air of an odour? Obviously, the structure is able to "attract" the ions of ammonia to the crystal and does so with the same mechanism as does our sense of smell. Are we to assume that the air we inhale brings the molecules to our nose? The fact is, zeolite traps NH3 inside the structure by "catching" the reactive side of the molecule (electrons) inside a molecular sieve but at the same time, this same crystal can be added to the root zone of plants and will release the NH3 to the root of a plant on demand. This implies that the root can break the bond and release the nutrient. At the same time, the root may be able to reject other "toxic" elements trapped in the zeolite.. Cadmium, or hydrogen chloride will stay inside the zeolite and the root has the option and apparently the facility to "leave" toxins right where they are in the zeolite. Water is of course the highway where this process in soil takes place.
I have cut 10's of thousands of gem quality ammonite but all the facets of this material are cut on one plane with the colour of each controlled by the lapidarist.
Zeolite, on the other hand, is volcanic ash which settled into a body of water and was crystalized by metamorphic forces which squeezed out the H20 leaving voids in the sand. The voids have an electrical charge and as Dr. John points out, can be manmade to different size and charge. I tend toward the metaphysical but from the alchemy point of view. As I have stated before ammonite and zeolite are the "alpha and omega" of geology.

I thought so too, until I actually passed various different orgonite compositions straight through the TSA checkpoints over several flights and didn't set them off either in my bag or my pocket. I didn't even get wand-scanned after walking right through the loop antenna with a big old TB in my pocket. From what I've read on the boards, orgonite never, never sets off security alarms.
It may be the natural anti-predatory effect of positive energy. The stuff just seems to effectively disable predatory behavior within range, and I guess that counts for even the slightest privacy intrusions, but you can't exactly prove a negative, so it's hard to say what, if any, limitations exist to this function.
Pretty neat, though. :-)

I would imagine that it would, such as in the case of enhanced HHg designs where there's a martini glass cone-shape mold with not only a copper wire coiled crystal pointing towards the tip of the cone (straight down in the mold), but also four directional crystals right-aligned towards the bottom of the cone (top of the mold), pointing out. These tend to have a noticeably stronger effect than simple single-crystal HHg designs. The energy can be colored by adding other types of crystals as well, such as amethyst and rose quartz for heart-level energy.
Physical orientation is irrelevant for field devices such as TowerBusters, where the purpose it to toss or bury it near a cell phone tower so as to mitigate the harmful effects of the tower's signal. These types of orgonite devices aren't considered directional so much as radial with regards to their area of effect.
However, at close range a sensitive observer can discern a directional nature to the energy based on the orientation of the crystal point(s), and certainly directional designs for personal healing use and whatnot are a common creation, including the chembuster devices used to stop chemtrails where double-terminated quartz crystals are placed upright in the base of each skyward-pointing pipe. So I guess the answer to your question would be that it depends on your intended use for a given orgonite design.

Stardust Mission Status Report
NASA's Stardust spacecraft was placed into hibernation mode yesterday. Stardust successfully returned to Earth samples of a comet via its sample return capsule on Jan. 15. The spacecraft has logged almost seven years of flight.
"We sang our spacecraft to sleep today with a melody of digital ones and zeros," said Tom Duxbury, Stardust project manager at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. "Stardust has performed flawlessly these last seven years and 2.88 billion miles and deserves a rest for a while, like the rest of the team."
The "song" was actually a series of commands that was sent up to the spacecraft yesterday, Jan. 29 at 4 p.m. Pacific time (7 p.m. Eastern time). The commands deactivated all but a few essential systems, such as Stardust's solar arrays and receive antenna - which will remain powered on. This long-term hibernation state could allow for almost indefinite (tens of years) out-of-contact operations while maintaining the spacecraft health.
"Placing Stardust in hibernation gives us options to possibly reuse it in the future," said Dr. Tom Morgan, Stardust Program Executive at NASA Headquarters, Washington. "The mission has already been a great success, but if at all possible we may want to add even more scientific dividends to this remarkable mission's record of achievement."
The Stardust spacecraft is currently in an orbit that travels from a little closer to the Sun than that of the Earth to well beyond the orbit of Mars. It will next fly past Earth on January 14, 2009, at a distance of about 1 million kilometers (621,300 miles).

I don't know about you guys/gals, but I thoroughly enjoyed Bush's SOTU address. For those who didn't see/hear it, he wants to end our dependence on Middle East oil. He said "America is addicted to oil", which is very true. He announced an increase in research into alternative energy, and hybrid and hydrogen cars. Democracy is spreading across the Middle East, and "freedom is on the march". More and more, the Iraqis are taking over the job of hunting down terrorists, and this is one step closer to bringing the troops home...
Right now, I'm listening to the Doom-and-Gloom-ocratic rebuttal. The naysayers have already used the phrase "There's a better way" 3 times in under 10 minutes. They're talking out of both sides of their mouths, as usual. They really know how to ruin a wonderful SOTU address...

Sorry I have been away for a little while. Struggling with legal battles with the VA. They are trying to *CANCEL* my cousin's benefits because his injuries was caused by "negligence."

I has a horrible "dream" that gave me a hell of a migrain for the past 4 days. Still dealing with both the dream and migraine. The dream really shook me.

I've had a very strange dream that probably saved my life. In my dream, I was spinning out of control near a red light. When I woke up, I remembered that dream, but didn't think much of it. Later that day, I was driving our van to the local Best Buy. My mom was riding shotgun (I still had my learner's permit at the time). We were coming up to an intersection. The light was green. As I got closer, it turned yellow. I was going 50mph, and started to slow down. My mom told me to just hurry through (something I really don't like to do), so I did. It was right after I had gone through the intersection, that I realized that it was the same one from my dream! Had I kept hitting the brake, I might have spun out just like in my dream. I was stunned, and only after we came out of Best Buy, did I tell my mom. She said, and I agree with her completely, that God warned me in a dream. I just thank God that she was there with me (because she told me to just keep going), or I might not be here telling you...

His initiatives to increase funding for research and education in science and physics sounds great, but the reality is more like we'll be funding more military/industrial complex projects by doing the basic, costly, non-rewarding groundwork....read between the lines, Bushites.
The rest was just backhanded ass-jabbing at the Dems and the usual pandering to the Xian-right.

What is a Zeolite?

The building outline in the cropcircle does look like the Sear's tower, sorta. The crop circle shows six levels (of a ziggurat ?) and, looking at the "Bull's Eye" photo, one can define six plateaus at various places on the structure of the Sear's Tower, though not regularly spaced and symmetric as shown in the crop circle. I assume that the building symbols appearing at antipodes on the circle led you to draw a Great Circle course around the Earth from Chicago through the N. pole to the Sumatra quake epicenter. I might have also been looking for a "sister" structure somewhere along that line, but the best ones I know about would be in Singapore and Shanghai, well off the Great Circle.
Very intriguing stuff, but I always have a hard time knowing when to quit with this sort of thing, as one's imagination can keep going forever.

The one thing that I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT like about "Star Trek" is "them" (They scare me so much that I can't even type their name). I've never been quite the same after I saw "Star Trek: First Contact" in the theaters (I sat there in the theater with my eyes wide open like an idiot. I had nightmares for months, I was scared to close my eyes, and I was terrified to be alone at night. Sometimes I still get scared at night.). If I EVER suspected our government of being like "them", I'm not sure what I'd do (I'd probably go nuts)...

Frankly, SK, I'm shocked he had the goddamn gall to even bring that shit up. I found his even bothering to mention "No Child Left Behind" to be particularly vulgar considering that program was literally gutted barely a month ago as I reported over in my blog at the time. To quote:

All's I can say to that is, having taken a trip or two through Chapel Perilous me own self, that the occasional dose of insanity can be truly liberating. But you are basically correct that by holding a particular paradigm, any paradigm, so near and dear as to be unable to even consider an alternative when appropriate then you will have little choice BUT to "go nuts" once that reality bubble bursts. Just something to mull over, not that I expect you'll bother.

Senior U.S. intelligence officers are concerned that the sophisticated 1.4 mile tunnel, complete with ventilation, electrical, and water systems, as well as cement flooring, that connects two warehouses on each side of the border, could have been used to secretly transport nuclear devices or material into the United States.
Argentine intelligence sources have previously reported that Al Qaeda smuggled nuclear devices into the United States using a drug route into the United States "rented" from the Juarez, Mexico-based drug cartel. The information was gleaned from agents that penetrated terrorist cells operating in the Puerto Igauzu, Argentina; Foz do Iguazu Brazil; and Ciudad del Este, Paraguay "Tri-Border" region, which is home to a number of Muslims. The DEA reported that the Mexico-U.S. tunnel may have been the work of one of Mexico's drug cartels. Previously, DEA has uncovered links between Al Qaeda and Latin American drug cartels, especially in Colombia and Venezuela. Nightstar, nice poll. Only question I had trouble with was how I felt about Bush. I don't think he's "Perfect In Every Way", but he's not your average President either. I know he's not perfect (no one, except God, is), but he's not terrible. There have been worse Presidents (Clinton, for example), but I think that Bush is an above-average President...

Please forgive the personal nature of this posting but I didn't want you all to think that I had fallen off the planet.
Things in my personal life have taken a sinister turn and I feel that it is best that i not post for a little while. It appears that I am being "watched" by my husband or others and that things I write here my possibly be used against me in the future. Abusers will use anything they can against you. I wish this was nothing more than pure paranoia, but I have some evidence to back this up.
Secondly, The Department of Homeland Security has decided that they want to re evaluate my green card status. (after being told that I was cleared.) There is a vrey good chance I could be deported. I beleve some of these problems my be stemming from here.
I have never had problems with my renewal, and suddenly I am.

Comet Tempel 1, target of last year's July 4 cosmic collision, contains small amounts of surface water ice. Reported in Science by members of NASA's Deep Impact mission, this finding marks the first evidence of surface ice on any comet.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Comet Tempel 1, which created a flamboyant Fourth of July fireworks display in space last year, is covered with a small amount of water ice. These results, reported by members of NASA's Deep Impact team in an advanced online edition of Science, offer the first definitive evidence of surface ice on any comet.
"We have known for a long time that water ice exists in comets, but this is the first evidence of water ice on comets," said Jessica Sunshine, Deep Impact co-investigator and lead author of the Science article.
A chief scientist with Science Applications International Corporation who holds three Brown University degrees, Sunshine said the discovery offers important insight into the composition of comets -- small, Sun-orbiting space travelers that are believed to be leftovers from the formation of the solar system.
"Understanding a comet's water cycle and supply is critical to understanding these bodies as a system and as a possible source that delivered water to Earth," she said. "Add the large organic component in comets and you have two of the key ingredients for life."
The findings help satisfy one of the major goals of the Deep Impact mission: Find out what is on the inside -- and outside -- of a comet.
To that end, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory teamed with the University of Maryland to slam a space probe into Tempel 1, then analyze materials from the comet's surface and interior. On July 4, 2005, mission members hit their mark when the copper-tipped probe collided with Tempel 1 and created a spectacular extraterrestrial explosion 83 million miles from Earth.
Since then, the Deep Impact team has reported a few key findings. These include an abundance of organic matter in Tempel 1's interior as well as its likely origins -- the region of the solar system now occupied by Uranus and Neptune.
According to the new research in Science, the comet's surface features three pockets of thin ice. The area the ice covers is small. The surface area of Tempel 1 is roughly 45 square miles or 1.2 billion square feet. The ice, however, covers roughly 300,000 square feet. And only 6 percent of that area consists of pure water ice. The rest is dust.
"It's like a seven-acre skating rink of snowy dirt," said Peter Schultz, professor of geological sciences at Brown, Deep Impact co-investigator and co-author on the Science paper.
Sunshine, Schultz and the rest of the team arrived at their findings by analyzing data captured by an infrared spectrometer, an optical instrument that uses light to determine the composition of matter.
Based on this spectral data, it appears that the surface ice used to be inside Tempel 1 but became exposed over time. The team reports that jets -- occasional blasts of dust and vapor -- may send this surface ice, as well as interior ice, to the coma, or tail, of Tempel 1.
"So we know we're looking at a geologically active body whose surface is changing over time," Schultz said. "Now we can begin to understand how and why these jets erupt."

Lawyer:
Thanks to all who encouraged we obtain good legal representation for my cousin's case. We have been lawyer shopping. Interviewed 6. Meeting #7 tomorrow. Lawyer #7 seems most promising. He has experience as a commissioned officer in the Navy, so hopefully he understands the plight of the soldier and family and knows the inner workings of the VA conglomerate. During his Navy tenure, he got his start in law and prosecuted as well as defended a few cases before retiring and entering private practice. After speaking with this person on the phone at length, I feel good about him. At least better than the previous 6. The previous attornys had dollar signs in their eyes and did not seem to passionate or interested in doing the right thing. A some had the personality of a rabid porcupine (please, no offense NightStar).
I'll keep people posted whenever any progress or breakthroughs are made.
