War on Climate
684 comments - Click for BlogTell me if you see the same thing that I am seeing in this 'development'....
In President Bush's State of the Union (SOTU)speech, he waxed eloquent about the US being addicted to Oil and the need to develop new forms of renewable energy. This astonished everybody...and I've learned that when Dubya 'astonishes' his own loyal followers that I'd better tap my BS Meter and ensure it's in good working order.
In the past week or so, but especially starting yesterday (2/21/06), Dubya has been giving speeches about the need for Renewable Energy and it's impact on National Security, and this is receiving increasingly heavier media coverage each passing day. Other Republicans, such as Ken Lay (Enron) buddy Arnold Schwarzenegger, are also getting in on the act.
In the spirit of "Hail, Hail, the Gang's All Here!", the conservative talk shows today are focusing on this new move by Evangelical Christians to fight Global Warming. I'm betting that this evolves into the "War on Climate'...and to do that you gotta have a rallying cry and then Divinely-ordained talkingpoints'
But it all seems too quick and too pat..and is starting to receive that whirlwind of focus that whispers 'dyzinformatzya' to me. Face it, since day one Dubya has gone out of his way to cater to every whim of the oil industry and the status quo highlighted, in my thinking, by the millions of federal dollars 'funneled' from the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) to the oil companies for research into extracting hydrogen from oil for the 'Hydrogen Economy' (ref: Dubya's 1st SOTU) to taking IMMEDIATE action the day after Katrina hit...by issuing a nationwide reprieve on all legislated emissions restrictions on gasoline, which means the refineries don't have to put costly additives in the gas, an oft-repeated goal that Big Oil has been bemoaning ever since 2001. And then we have all the oil industry folks in his Administration (e.g. Cheney, Rice, etc). C'mon Dubya...who are you kidding? The record of the Bush Administration on Renewable Energy and the environment is worse than lacking...it's abysmal, if not criminal!
So WTF is all this 'we don't need no steeeenking oil' rhetoric? Is it part of a psy-op campaign to scare the bejesus out of OPEC nations, i.e. Rumsfield's "Information War"? Is it part of pre-midterm election chatter to make the American public think that the Republicans actually care about the environment and to whip their Christian political base into action? Is it the fact that the Administration backed off of the ANWR debate, although they still use it as a club to batter the Democrats, because Big Oil CAN'T drill in ANWR because global warming has melted the ice to the point that the ground cannot support the weight of the heavy equipment needed to build the drilling sites? (This is a recent article, but this information has been in the public domain since at least November...now think of that then recall all the bombastic rant against Democrats for 'politicizing' our energy needs and national security...seems rather disingenuous on the Administration's part!)
Regardless the motivation, this has the same stink as most of the incredibly efficient propaganda works we've become accustomed to. Don't trust it...Or me! Open your eyes, see what develops, make your own judgment. I'm not always right about everything...Ask my wife!

Great Blog posting, SunKing! Nice to hear from you and welcome back from your absence. You have been missed (by me at least).
Follow the money ... this is one of those "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" tricks.
If we actually do pursue "RE" (renewable energy), does that mean an end to the oil wars? Then what fear-mongering is left to justify the occupation and capture of the oil lands? Regardless, there is still beaucoup dinero to me made.
Besides, could it be too late? Is the environment already hopelessly f'd? Terribly tilted? Look at the weather...
Or ... is this just a diversion and the worst is yet to come?
Terrorism -- Muslims -- Middle East -- Oil?
Environment -- repair facade; ruin behind?
Big Brother watching and growing.
Just wondering aloud. Please forgive :)
~Greg
Thanks, Greg, and you just wonder aloud all you want!
At least While we can!!
Been busy as hell lately, hence the absence, so apologies to all.
Peace!
sk
One additional thought on RE:
I believe the same Big Oil players will be given the renewable energy ball. Simply spoon-fed to them. No new companies and no new compatition. Exxon/Mobile, Shell, Chevron, and company with Haliburton et al. Hence, the money continues to flow and grow.
Who else was in Dick's hunting party? And since the Veep accidentally shot his load onto someones face, is that referred to as Dick's premature ejaculation? (ouch!)
What will be suppressed, slowed, and/or omitted?
These are not altruistic individuals, they could care less about the environment, or human lives for that matter. Now, some light-bulb pops and they have an idea on how to cash in on the environment while simultaneously convincing the general public they really, really care about the health and longevity of the environment. Gotta love them warm-hearted, tree-hugging, environmentally focused Republicans. Right?
No? OK.

Elections in 2 years
I'ze here!
Hey T, have you looked at other types of radar in thsoe sat areas, or even the Visible Sat pics? See if there is any correlation to the odd stuff you're seeing?
Presidential election in 2 years...the mid-terms elections are this year...and see how many Pubbies are trying to distance themselves from Dubya, without distancing themselves from Dubya...an hilarious dance of bullshit!
If I had to take a guess, based on the simplistic mindset of the current administration, this is early spin-up for the next election. The republicans know many people aren't happy with the Bush administration, and therefor the Republican party in general. They also know that due to the increasingly strong weather and news about glaciers melting, that the environment is going to become a bigger issue than it has been in past elections (thank God). They would be simply retarded to not start the spin-up early. Remember, your average American won't think of this as pre-election propaganda if it starts so early, and lasts until the elections.
An article in today's paper on one of Bush's recent speeches about alternative energy quoted him as saying that there is new technology on the horizon that will "startle" some people. That sounds pretty ominous to me.
I'm in agreement with the rest of you. This has a certain "aroma" to it. No way is the oil man turning into the green man.
I only get to this blog a couple of times a week so I guess I can be classified as a.....
....lurker
New technology eh? Does that mean they are gonna let us have something that WE already know exists? and, most likely pay out the a$$ for it too.
Yea sk, that bullshit dance is mighty fine. The best though is the Kansas guy Roberts. He has so much shit on his nose all the while talking sideways and saying absolutely nothing while trying to change the subject. A veritable manure machine. For the life of me I can't see what people see in these idiots. If I performed like that in my job, I would never work on any respectable projects ever again. WTF! I've been saying that a lot lately. Nice on the bloggy style sk. Weez on the same page again. Glad to see you back.
Wayne
Whatever the "new" tech is, it won't be freely available, that's for sure. If we want energy like that, it will be up to independent people to find it and post it online for the world to see.
Couple of points here..
1..great post and right on target. This Bush flip flop has been niggling on the back burner since he broke wind. The very next day Bush was at a meeting of his secret service types and said out loud that grasses could be used to make fuel. Of course, this leads to the ultimate conclusion that the fastest growing and most resilient of all grasses is hemp so his ugly step sisters came to the conclusion that Bush mis-spoke or was not understood correctly. How can you be misunderstood when you say "grasses right here on the farm can solve our energy problems"?
2. I used to visit a fishing hole in Banff National Park which took 12 hours to hike and took a path over a glacier. A Smithsonian expedition to that same area used motorized vehicles to get to the same spot in 1917-18 to collect Ordovician fossils. These vehicles' tire tracks are still huge scars across the terrain.
3. Bush is compelled to say exactly opposite to what he does.

SA solar research eclipses rest of the world
Willem Steenkamp, February 11 2006 at 12:50PM
In a scientific breakthrough that has stunned the world, a team of South African scientists has developed a revolutionary new, highly efficient solar power technology that will enable homes to obtain all their electricity from the sun.
This means high electricity bills and frequent power failures could soon be a thing of the past.
The unique South African-developed solar panels will make it possible for houses to become completely self-sufficient for energy supplies.
The panels are able to generate enough energy to run stoves, geysers, lights, TVs, fridges, computers - in short all the mod-cons of the modern house.
Nothing else comes close to the effectiveness of the SA invention
The new technology should be available in South Africa within a year and through a special converter, energy can be fed directly into the wiring of existing houses. New powerful storage units will allow energy storage to meet demands even in winter. The panels are so efficient they can operate through a Cape Town winter. while direct sunlight is ideal for high-energy generation, other daytime light also generates energy via the panels....

Great article SK!
How much more obvious can you get...lay off 32 workers and then rehire them right before Bush's visit...nothing obvious there. I smell a rat....and Bush is snorting Ethanol! LOL
Adrenaline, I'd have to agree with your first post. From what I've been reading, I'm beginning to think it's getting a little too late in the game for a come back. The planet really seems to be struggling. Either that or she's about ready to kick our butt's off!
They're trying real hard though to make us believe they care. Looking like a carrot to me. I didn't buy it in his SOTU address and I really don't buy it now.
AH! I was so blind....they're hijacking one of the Democratic platform issues, plain and simple. Well, maybe......the 'startling' energy sources...hmmm, maybe they reversed engineered Robert's starship's ion-powered garbage compactor?
Thanks for reminding me, Lurker, aboutthe startle comment.
Ms.T,
recall the images from Katrina that were on one of the last Captain's Blog blogs....where the satellite image showed blue sky, but the MIMCCS and, I think, Nexrad (or something) showed a whole lotta sumpin' going on?

U.S. Reclassifies Many Documents in Secret Review

U.S. Reclassifies Many Documents in Secret Review
By SCOTT SHANE
WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 — In a seven-year-old secret program at the National Archives, intelligence agencies have been removing from public access thousands of historical documents that were available for years, including some already published by the State Department and others photocopied years ago by private historians.
The restoration of classified status to more than 55,000 previously declassified pages began in 1999, when the Central Intelligence Agency and five other agencies objected to what they saw as a hasty release of sensitive information after a 1995 declassification order signed by President Bill Clinton. It accelerated after the Bush administration took office and especially after the 2001 terrorist attacks, according to archives records.
But because the reclassification program is itself shrouded in secrecy — governed by a still-classified memorandum that prohibits the National Archives even from saying which agencies are involved — it continued virtually without outside notice until December. That was when an intelligence historian, Matthew M. Aid, noticed that dozens of documents he had copied years ago had been withdrawn from the archives' open shelves....
Very interesting, blasted.
lurker says...
(have to come up with a name)
Assuming the solar breakthrough in SA is all it appears to be, that in itself would shift the use of oil and natural gas dramatically if it got homes off the grid. The only people startled by that would be the Big Oil guys. GE by the way, has a pretty sizable investment in a solar panel plant. All the big oil co.s are quietly pursuing alternatives as well. Wonder if the SA tech is patented and the big companies get shut out? Even if the solar tech took 10 years to get going the value of oil would plummet tomorrow just based on future falling demand. That SA solar had to be known to the govt. ssl could be close to the truth in saying that it is something that exists already. It's for sure it won't be free...

Jewish newspapers laugh at Muslims, call them crocodiles, call their religion a 'Cauldron of Hate', and now they defile their prophet. Zionists have killed millions of Muslims in Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, etc.
Zionists orchestrated 9/11 and blamed the Muslims. They make silly movies about 9/11 and evil Muslims, but won't show a single boarding video from Logan Airport.
Hi all...
First off, very interesting post Sunking...
Now on to something puzzling...
I'm more than a bit confused at this recent thing about putting the United Arab Emerits (I hope I spelled that right) in charge of our ports. What puzzles me is that President Bush is threatening to use the veto power to stop a bill that would prevent this from happening. This is a big risk to national security, and I can't understand why on Earth Bush would want these terrorist supporters to run our ports. I have to disagree with the President on this issue (I'm not, contrary to what most of you might think, blindly loyal to Bush.). This is an insanely bad idea, and why the President would even consider doing this is beyond me...
Biological_unit, what don't you like about space.com? It's a cornucopia of information about what's going on in the cosmos...

Who ran ALL of the 911 airport's security? Red Sea Pedestrians. But nothing bad ever happens when THEY are in charge; RIGHT???
Yep, that Iranian (nudge nudge wink wink) nookular bomb is coming in on a ship from that Arab (nudge nudge wink wink) post all right.
WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT A NUKE WILL BE BROUGHT IN AND DETONATED BY THE SAME BUNCH OF RUSSIAN KHAZARS (JOOS) WHO DID 911 - THEN BLAME ARABS!!
Biological_unit, what don't you like about space.com? It's a cornucopia of information about what's going on in the cosmos...
They always are "suprised" at what they see; why won't they embrace the Electric Universe and their good, WORKING theories (instead of patching up dying theories??)
Sunking,
Great post. I especially like the Pied-Piper bit with all the rats sporting eye-talian heads with handle-bar mustaches and carrying "Black Hand" leaflets that were used by this fore-runner of the Mafia to terrorize the Italian-American population of this country around the turn of the 19-20th century. I think you can easily substitute Dubya and his crowd in that pack and they would fit in nicely.
Any ranting on the part of Dubya about alternative energy should be viewed in the context of the coming war with Iran and the very real possibility that the Straits of Hormuz could be shut down to oil traffic and everything else, permanently if a nuclear exchange occurs. Any miracle technology to save us from the consequences of that will most certainly involve the resurrection of nuclear fission power plants. This will be a slight-of-hand, as these are net energy consumers and only breeder reactors would do us any good. Since we know that will not happen, the conclusion must be that the magic man will be keeping us entertained while we starve for energy and the economy withers to nothing. The ultimate goal of the elite will thus be achieved: a feudal society with those who already have much possessing EVERYTHING and those with less NOTHING. The "useless eaters" die and the rest serve.
People , even here have a hard time understanding that Dubya and his kind are not like us. They might as well be a different species (according to David Icke, they are !). We just won't believe that "our leaders" would do that to us. Well, they are not "our" people. Even if they are human, they are not us. They are "the other". Meditate on that.
Even if they are human, they are not us. They are "the other". Meditate on that.
Annunaki Remnants. Religion and Politics are full of them. I just hope the Good Guys win! (but evil seems stronger anyways . . .)

Hi again,
I had more time than usual today to sit around and contemplate.
I passed my medical which qualifies me as cannon fodder. Next step, if necessary is my training assignment for 6 weeks, then off to the desert (also if necessary). Still on stand-by, still waiting, no orders. Like the Boy Scouts -- be prepared.
I have a very difficult time wrapping my mind around the fact that Bush is outsourcing shipping operations at 6 major U.S. seaports to a state-owned business in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The major shipping operations are in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami, and Philadelphia.
Now, perhaps it is my lack of education or lack of smarts, but this is something I do not understand. We can barely control the ports under the current management. We do not know what comes through.
The country is going to hell faster than a lightning bolt when port authority is outsourced. Is this something we cannot handle? We certainly cannot do any worse. Or, is this a ruse to hide some more dark alley dealings in the "who's sleeping with who" political world.
Is this how the dirty bomb will enter the U.S.?
Is this another step toward "One World Government" (NWO)?
Will this be the catastrophe needed to justify the population reduction called for by TPTB?
I am being asked by my government to risk death. Our young, brave men & women of the armed forces are being asked to enter harm's way. While the POTUS blatently and willingly sells us out directly from under our collective nose, flips everyone the "bird", and threatens veto should anyone try to mingle.
I find it hard to accept the fealty to this government and it's deceit and lies. Their power games and callous cost of life.
I also have fealty to the American people to defend. It makes it easier. I think the war is not overseas in places far far away. I believe it is right here at home as the power play continues to sell us out to the lowest bidder and continure to silently enslave us -- creeping upon us like a cancerous death.
When we (the military) are spread so thin that we cannot defend ourself at home is when it will happen. More military and policing will be the problem-reaction-solution prescribed and everyone is guilty until proven innocent.
I believe in my cause -- a freedom fighter. The role of liberator. The hand of democracy, equality, and human rights for all everywhere. I am deeply concerned about the hidden agenda. The one of manipulator, thug, controller which I am afraid I will soon represent.

Great post Sunking !

Or should I say 'scams'
uni
good insights already posted by all on this issue, all around.
Yes this truly is a clever multi-purpose scam ! Sorry to say it, but those bad boyz sometimes get betterer and betterer at their evil craft.
John, it is good to see you have formed an opinion and expressed it. Never stop asking why. Keep asking until you are satisfied. Beware of media spin and hype. Listen through the noise.
Something occured to me ... Sept. 11, 1991 during the first SOTU speech by Bush 1, was, I think, the first time the expression "new world order" was used.
I guess one thing about being in the military is you sure learn your history. The philosophy is through knowledge of history, one is less likely to repeat the same mistakes. So, we make new ones.
~Greg
Consider this ...
UAE shipping clerk: (answering phone) "Hello? Hey Osama, what up man! ... You want to ship what? ... Where? ... No problem!
Then listen to the panic and talking heads.
~Greg (current mood: fustrated & confused)
Question about this dock thingy. What decessions with the UAE company have? Will they elimnate the current dock workers? Be able to kick out Customs and the USCG? In other words I have not heard the actual nuts and bolts of what this contract actually means. Each side seems to be spewing a line of shit. But without knowing exactly what the running of these ports means it just a pissing match to me and both sides are full of it. Currently, it seems that the British company is in charge. What if the owner's of this company wanted to manipulate the US economy by messing with port operations, in order to thicken their poctket books. This can be just as bad as something slipping in. Post 9/11 or not. So who controls the other ports? And what are their scrupples? Everybody here talks disclosure but are only echoing the media doom and gloom but aren't asking the more obivous questions. Some of these are given above but other questions here are also staring us in the face. Where else does similar deals take place and should there be concern here. Think realestate, factories, transportation systems, etc. The media is just locked into one aspect and not looking at the bigger picture. So why have they done their job and find the bigger story here. Instead of all the BS with the trail of the month, they should be trying to scoop each other on more pressing issues.

secrets kept in the vault, where even the keys are kept secret. secrets of secrets.
the new "old" National Archives - just what do they represent? knowledge of things past. encompassing the mundane, and heavy decisions of State. Think of Family History that old folk pass on to their grandchildren. Now kept hidden. Again.
You can re-write Official history to your own agenda, if you can deny access to that past, and threaten/deconstruct those who dare tell it from their POV. Your children will not know what Grandma and grandpa lived thru, coz their mum and dad only have vague recollections as kids then.
The new "Official Version of History" will become bible truth, taught in schools as part of National Education, in the guise of building loyal citizens. Fed to kids 7 to 18.
In truth, propaganda dressed as truth. History has been re-written (or left out) by the victors. Those who question it, will be branded as disloyal to the State (in truth, the Party).
Dont believe me?

Good topic Sunking, nicely said.
I think it's the republicans "plan" to do well
in the elections.
Is it a mis direction to take publicity away
from the really good stuff like the South
African solar panel company?
Save that page, print it, pass it around.
History says these guys and their advance
will be stopped. The immediate focus of
Bush's environment plan is to increase hydrogen
cars and hybrids, a change that the oil
companies can begrudgingly agree to.
The off the grid companies are going to be
fighting for their lives (literally, if they
don't back down)
Hi ms T, are you saving those radar images?
Every time I read your comments and go to

read to your comments while they were
still fresh enough.
Maybe you can send the radar blip to ol' RCH and
ask him to send it to a tech to take a
look and then get back to us on that.
HAR harhar ha heeee.
Bryan
Hey Bryan..tried to save images..no can do..might have to video tape them Hehehe..
Hey Greg.. To go where no man has gone before. is the motto. This reminds me of the Montana Power Company sale. The state was completely self sufficient for power but the right political forces aligned with the right bureaucrats and commissioners lined up with the right stock brokers and they sold the power company to a multinational and bought internet stocks. Only problem there being they bought the stocks in 1999. Pop goes the weasel. No self sufficiency and nothing to show for it.
It will always be an assault against that which we hold sacred cause that is the only whale left in the deep blue sea.
Back to fish or cut bain matey.

But won't that conflict with the CHEMTRAIL program? We can't stop that program. We have contracts for aluminum powder, titatium, barium virii and what about our portfolio in big pharma? How are we going to wipe out millions, make billions, spend trillions if some little poobah in Africa invents a better mouse trap?
Better get out plan B for Brain.
If 6 years of deeds contradict 6 days of words ... it's obvious that any reporter who can afford to follow Dubya around, catch up to him with a question, or with a White House press pass is not allowed to remember.
Remember Cheney and Bush on film in 2000, pointing out reporters, Cheney saying, "yeah, that one's a real assh*le".
Here's a question :
Why do reporters hang on Dubya's every word ? Why do they present what he says today without pointing out (a) Dubya's an 'oil man' (b) all his friends are greedy oil men too (c) he's preaching to posterity, to take credit for what his non-big-oil successor will have to do : get out from under oil dependency.
Bush II is a lame duck President because he lacks ideas, imagination and most importantly, he lacks the trust & influence to carry out any of the things he says .... except he's got the power to wage war.
Pity the fools who gave him the power to invade Iraq. No doubt, it cost John Kerry the Presidency !
From what I can tell in the US - as a distant observer born on a USAFB, but 10km from the border.
Republican leadership is weak because their party requires people to vote against their best economic interests - and ignorance of economics is their tool. Their counter-weight to economics has been faith : their leaders in Washington thump bibles, they abhorr science and "the dismal science" (economics).
The Democrats are not exploiting their best weapon, though it appeared John Kerry scored many direct hits in the debates, such as describing the Clean Air Act as "Orwellian".
The Republicans are cooking the books by cooking the data collected - for example, when they push McDonalds to "manufacturing" category to make the statistics look ... not quite so bad.
My advice to you Americans : ban election advertising and set shoe-string limits of what a candidate can spend ... stop allowing elections to be bought !!
Traitors at Die-Bold should be shot to set an example for other would-be social engineers.
And for God's sake, set up a public health care system - you've let your society decay by electing silver-spooned drug warriors and sociopaths ... but don't let the bastards who took your Republic and imprisoned your pot-heads also deprive your poor people of health care !!
Contrary to "Christian" right wing philosophy (the 'screw the poor' element), being poor is not a crime ... but excessive greed should be.
Can someone working for minimum wage possibly pay for health care ? No ? Then it's not really a minimum wage, is it ? That's cruel and unusual punishment for taking a low-paying job. If your job out-sourced off-shore and you wind up taking a gas-station attendant's job - well, if he gets sick, it's something known only in the US : 'medical bankruptcy'.
Give your poor health care - like they do in democratic Iraq ... then talk about superior system of government and 'kinder gentler' nation. No health care : man, that's cold !!
The US is the only country without health care - ergo, it's the only democracy where their elected representatives never got together and tried to give their poor people health care. Why ? Faith ... in capitalism.
The poor worked and made America great ... while the American legislators failed at every attempt to bring the US up to speed : exploiting the sick and denying the poor should never be part of capitalism.
Thanks fer them boner pills, Pfizer and Bob Dole, but how about let demand (for curing illness) drive research.
I mean, if you take away universal health care in any of the other Western democracies and it will bring up long sedimented class divisions. What health care like on a tropical island, Jas ? What's it like on the Other Side of the Pacific ?
The profit motive won't cure everything. The politically active elitists making the rules and setting the agenda have erred - they got it wrong by keeping privatized health care - and rather than fix the resulting urban decay, how about give all the mothers Prozac and then go invade Iraq for the oil-men ... ya gotta drug the population into bliss : you don't want them dames gittin' uppity like they did in the 60s.
They don't have a pill that will make a woman excited about a wrinkly old body with a boner coming at them ... but viagra is good in one sense : if the willingness or interest in sex outlasts the physical ability - it's a comfort. Drugs for profit and for producing happiness are not bad - but a hospital should be part of the common - like toilets and fresh running water.
Fewer men shootin' pool with a rope and fewer women sitting around, talking about keeping the boys at home ... and the poets, philosophers and artists are all in the Supermax for simple possession. Perhaps the war machine has found the right social balance to achieve pertpetual war for perpetual peace ... bummer for the next generation, huh ?
NSA reclassifying stuff ? Next thing ya know, yeou're going to tell me they've kicked someone's door in and seized their files. I raised that topic a few months ago. Col Friedman, the most decorated man in America (aka : the Man Who Broke Purple in WWII) had his door kicked in and his files seized. I've reproduced the same data as Col Friedman and have no idea if the material is still classified. The worry is very real to US publishers.
Friedman described {sic} "ciphers from the Revolutionary War and the US Civil War" and the continued active suppression raises the question : can something 230 years old could pose a valid National Security security risk ?) The ciphers were used on the frontier - as a tesselation pattern. Space is a frontier with NASA guarding its silly rituals - I thought space enthusiasts would be the people most interested in how humans mark off space on a frontier.
I'm publishing in Canada first, because if anything happens in the US - well, who'd care ... right ? Those guys at the NSA must have a good reason to re-classify something and once they do, Americans just gotta close ranks and blindly support our secret service. Naaah, nobody wants to see what Col Friedman had seized - because they don't want the Gestapo at their front door.
Yeah, Bush's flip flop views on energy recently are a lot to do with getting all 20 pinkies and toes caught in the OILy cookie jar...
Bush&shrubs are a disgrace to USA's people.
At war on terror, he's got to be the biggest terrorist America and the world has ever seen.
A home grown, public ted bundy...
and then prince charles suing the media for the incursion into his private life with his journals being published...
Wait, with Bush's secret wire tapping program, NO ONE is private anymore...
Bush can spy on anyone in the world with impunity...
so yeah, da energy alternative will result in a cut deal with his OIL buddies...
they can all go ta hell!
Then I see on BBC world service reports of a car that runs on mountain water, but a special kind of mountain water, yeah, now ya hav ta ask, why is da mountain water special there?
drip drip of econommic propoganda...
But mi tinks da bottom line, Bush & eejits, have been caught with their pants down...
and guess what, they're all giving it to each other up the ass...
So chicken with flu and Rice...
next president could be female...
there is a LOT going on...

had been diving to about 70 feet, but with the extra andrenalin rush, had used air a lot more quickly than usual...
caught a fair amount... (of da spiny lobster) mmm-mmmm-mmmm :P
then that PM went to teach a class...
on da way back, got numbness and tingling in mi feet and legs (symptoms of decompression sickness) and da skipper rushed me off ta da local here.
Now this was a Sunday, and the nearest decompression champber is in Statia...
so no helicopter, only da skippers fast boat and an 3 hour journey, in pain...
But da local hospital here, had an Asian Dr, who put me on the usual drips and oxygen (to up the partial pressure in the blood from the dissolving Nitrogen).
when about an hour or so went by, whilst was under observation, da Dr made a startling observation.
Now up till this point, I gotta point out, I had been through a horrendous divorce and to cut da story short a lot, in case anyone has drifted off;
I was pretty thin (195 lbs, yes thin :)).
mi diet for all da training I was doing and for mi new job as dive instructor, from mi older more gentile role as IT pro...
well anyway, da Dr spotted that I had an electrolic flip, that the paralasis and numbness etc, was due to a sugar defficency in mi diet.
I was burning more sugar than was eating...
And the lack of body fats meant that I had simply conked out...
Da Dr was smart, reall clever to have spotted that...
I mean, for a 3rd world country, we have pretty good facilities.
There is no income tax here, and you pay for all the expenses at the hospital front desk.
But it's well subsidised by the local goverment.
Also there is a nursing school here...
AND
A veterinary school.
Students from da USA live here there will be roughly 1400 in St Kitt's.
So got to say, for miself who rarely gets more than a cold...
I think it's real real good.
Older people here are REAL healthy, the climate has a lot to do with it, but also that old fashioned DR Patient care and respect exists here.
The president here is a Practicing Dr. (Denzel Douglas)
He's often around the resort mi and wifey live on here.
met him a couple of times...
so da health care system is real real prominent and reflected in da strength of da local peoples...
So why is Cannabis illegal again?
Oh yeah;

Tell ya what Bush freak, if ya can meet me here at F-SHOD and explain why in 30 words or less, why it should not be decriminalised then by all means, you get your way.
But if you can't, how about coming to St Kitt's, and sitting down with me over a large one?

The thing is Wayne, they ARE the populace.
What I mean, is that each Soldier or Policemen off duty is just that, an American right?
So, plain clothed or not, the goverment is hiring Americans to police Americans to keep Americans down and dummed right?
I heard it said just the other day on CNN, that the USA goverment refered to internationally as the 'Administration says'. Not USA says or the American people say, the Administration.
Clearly, with all the hired Americans, paid to be subserviant to an Administration, who is the Administration subserviant too?
Why haven't 1000's of FEMA home trailers yet been properly used to the victims of Katrina?
Who is higher than the president to authorise and cut through all the beurocratic red tape to get those homes to those who are so desperately in need.

>Something occured to me ... Sept. 11, 1991 during the first SOTU speech by Bush 1, was, I think, the first time the expression "new world order" was used.
Here ya go!
"The phrase "new world order", as used to herald in the post-Cold War era, did not have a developed or substantive definition. There appear to be three distinct periods in which it was progressively redefined, first by the Soviets, and later by the United State before the Malta Conference, and again after Bush's speech of 11 September 1990."
NWO from Wiki
The phrase "new world order" was first widely used in connection with Woodrow Wilson's designs in the period just after World War I, during the formation of the League of Nations. The "war to end all wars" had been a powerful catalyst in international politics, and many felt the world could simply no longer operate as it once had. The first world war had been justified not only in terms of U.S. national interest but in moral terms—to "make the world safe for democracy." After the war, Wilson argued for a new world order which transcended traditional great power politics, instead emphasizing collective security, democracy, and self-determination. However, the United States Senate rejected membership of the League of Nations, which Wilson believed to be the key to a new world order. Senator Henry Cabot Lodge argued that American policy should be based on human nature "as it is, not as it ought to be."[1]
The term fell from use when it became clear the League was not living up to the over-optimistic expectation, and as a consequence was used very little during the formation of the United Nations. Former UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim felt that this new world order was a projection of the American dream into Europe, and that, in its naïveté, the idea of a new order had been used to further the parochial interests of Lloyd George and Clemenceau, thus ensuring the League's eventual failure.[2] Although some have claimed the phrase was not used at all, Virginia Gildersleeve, the sole female delegate to the San Francisco Conference in April 1945, did use it in an interview with the New York Times.[citation needed]
The phrase was used by some in retrospect when assessing the creation of the post-World War II set of international institutions: the United Nations; the U.S. security alliances such as NATO; the Bretton Woods system of the International Monetary Fund and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development; and even the Truman Doctrine and Marshall Plan were seen as characterizing or comprising this new order.
The phrase "new world order", as used to herald in the post-Cold War era, did not have a developed or substantive definition. There appear to be three distinct periods in which it was progressively redefined, first by the Soviets, and later by the United State before the Malta Conference, and again after Bush's speech of 11 September 1990.
The new world order concept was secondary at best to the Bush administration, and perhaps only a rhetorical tool that implied more than it meant. Throughout the period of the phrase’s use, the public seemed to expect much more from the phrase than any politicians did, and predictions about the new order quickly outraced the rather lukewarm descriptions made in official speeches.

Congress caught making false entries in Wikipedia

We already know, of course, that politicians live primarily for re-election and typically view the truth as an impediment to the higher purpose of unfettered self-aggrandizement.
Still, we can be excused for feeling mildly nauseated when fresh confirmation of this distasteful aspect of modern politicking surfaces.
The latest episode appeared last week in the form of a report that aides to Rep. Marty Meehan, a Massachusetts Democrat, deleted references to his broken term-limits pledge and massive campaign war chest on Wikipedia.
Then the trusty editors at Wikipedia got together and compiled a list of over 1,000 edits made by Internet addresses allocated to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. The IP address subsequently was blocked and unblocked.
An extensive analysis reveals how juvenile official Washington secretly is, behind the mind-numbingly serious talk of public policy.
wonder if dis part is 'fixed'...

Hi,
I would like to share an excerpt from a short article titled The Lie of the Century (full PDF article)
Please ponder...
"Right now, we have the criminals at hand. and, while other leaders in history have lied to start wars, for the first time in history, the lie stands exposed while the war started with the lies still rages on, to the death and detriment of our young men and women in uniform. We cannot in good moral conscience ignore this lie, this crime, lest we encourage future leaders to continue to lie to use to send our kids off to pointless wars. Lying to start a war is more than an impeachable offence; it the highest possible crime a government can commit against their own people. Lying to start a war is not only misappropriation of the nation's military and the nation's money under false pretenses, but it is outright murder committed on a massive scale. Lying to start a war is a betrayal of the trust each and every person who serves in the military places in their civilian leadership. By lying to start a war, the Bush administration has told the military fatalities and their families that they have no right to know why they were sent to their deaths. It's none of their business.
Our nation is founded on the principle of rule with the consent of the governed. Because We The People do not consent to be lied to, a government that lies rules without the consent of the governed, and ruling without the consent of the governed is slavery.
You should be more than angry. You should be in a rage. You should be in a rage no less than that of the families of those young men and women who have been killed and maimed in this war started with a lie. You need to be in a rage and you need to act on that rage because even as I type these words, the same government that lied about Iraq's nuclear weapons is telling the exact same lies about Iran's nuclear capabilities. The writing is on the wall; having gotten away with lying to start the war in Iraq, the US Government will lie to start a war in Iran, and after that another, and after that another, and another and another and another because as long as you remain silent, and as long as you remain inactive, the liars have no reason to stop."
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please spread the PDF file around.

What is it gonna tek, to get these eejits out of da loop of power?
If everyone on the internet, converged and agreed, that they are a waste of time, and tek a poll on a new way of running tings?
why, don't goverments BLOG if they are soo much for the people.
Why can't I get online to Bush's own blog web page?
Why can't we as people contact him in this open format from time to time?
Mi tinks it's cos he's not an open type of guy... mi tink he doesn't like answering questions honestly... and I think it's cos we'd all reveal his lies and lying quicker than a Whittington turning around and getting shot in the face...

What can ya tek with you, when ya truly snuff it?
Just ya happy rum ranting self of memories and a good name to have left behind.
Men might talk about a fishing boat that was lost with all hands, but if the skipper of that boat had been the best rum shack barman on da island; then the story would be different, a REAL character involved, someone people thought about often, liked being around and missed sorely when he'd gotten himself sunk...
da point is, ta have a good name, a name that conjours up all kind's of good memories, ya can't buy that, not really.
The truth always comes out...
But if you've lived a truthful life, strived to serve altruistic purposes to instill love in others... then that kind of name is worth more than all da diamonds ya could swim in...
Currently on the scale of names, George W. Bush is coming out at footscraplingly low proportions, even lower than the Jewish named 'hitler', that's gotta be pretty low...
And he's doing it in who's name?
Didn't he claim he could hear Gods voice?
Wonder if he can hear this;
Bush ya a freaking degenerate retard..."Word!"
Now get the heck out of goverment and leave it to someone who cares and actually gives a dam!

Mystery blob eating downtown
By Dana Bartholomew, Staff Writer
Los Angeles officials were still scratching their heads today over what caused a mysterious black goo to burble from streets downtown, forcing the evacuation hundreds of apartment dwellers.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said investigators had yet to identify the ``black tarry substance'' more than 24 hours after it erupted at Olive Street and Pico Boulevard.
But he said there might be ``a correlation'' with a petroleum company drilling operation nearby.
``The samples we have taken _ this was determined to be (a) nontoxin, nonflammable, nonhazard,'' said fire Capt. Ernie Bobadilla. ``We're looking to I.D. the scope of the problem.
``This problem is not a simple fix.''
About 200 residents were forced to flee as a hazardous materials team and dozens of firefighters worked throughout the day to identify what was first deemed "a black tarry substance" and later morphed into a "watery mud."
While outside temperatures struggled to break 60, sidewalks in the vicinity steamed at 103 degrees, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Ron Myers said.
"It's worrisome in the fact that it will keep the street closed and residents will be evacuated till the building is considered safe," Myers said.
Firefighters were alerted at 3 a.m. by complaints of a sewer-like smell at an apartment house at 1220 S. Olive St. near Pico Boulevard, but found nothing.
They returned at 1 p.m. to find a Slimer-like ooze lurking beneath central Los Angeles.
"We were called back because there was a gooey substance, a tarry-type substance, coming out the underground electrical vaults, out of manhole covers in the street, through the sidewalks and possibly in one older apartment building," Myers said.
A 120-foot stretch of Olive buckled 1 1/2 feet, he said. The pre-1933 unreinforced masonry apartment building shifted one foot from its foundation. Sidewalks were as hot as Jacuzzis.
And a pressurized liquid shot from every street orifice located above what used to be a historic oil field downtown.
No one was injured in what amounted to a black lagoon. Hazmat and Urban Search and Rescue crews determined that the mysterious substance wasn't flammable, Myers said.
"Incident commanders are evaluating some form of drilling operation one or two blocks away as the possible cause," he added.
"They told us to get out from the building, because, probably, I don't know, anything could happen. The basement was flooding," resident Mary Robles told KABC-TV, Channel 7.
By late afternoon, the American Red Cross had set up an evacuation center for the 150 adults and 50 children forced to flee the stuff of nightmares.
"We're opening a shelter," said Nick Samaniego, spokesman for the Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles. "We're looking for a place to put them."

Excellent post both here and at Goro's site!
Wow! i HAVE TO COMMENT. Fuck it.
I has me wondering if the port deal is a "Open door" for "cheap oil deal"
There is some reason that Bush is fighting just a little too hard for this deal to go through. VETO?
Fine, veto the deal and let the masses riot and the longshoremen strike, and then oil will be right back up to that 100 a barrel level that the oil mongers want anyway.
and as far as this "we can't discriminate against arabs"....WTF????
Makes me think that someone forgot to remind the Pres we have blamed ARABS for 9/11.
yeah, oops kinda forgot that...
My question is why is it NOT illegal for foreign ownership of ports?
My guess is that most americans beleieved that US companies owned the ports and that's partially why there is such outrage.
Was that the fabric of society I hear tearing?
Fine, send me to canada...i've had it here.
AD117,
I don't know for sure one way or another about the real motives of this "church". There is something about what they are doing that smells very bad, aside from the obvious hurt to mourners. Whoever these people are, they certainly do not represent Jesus Christ and I think they know it.
Don't be surprised if these later turn out to be agent provocateurs who happen to frequent a certain 5-sided building or perhaps the White House itself. Stranger things have been happening lately.
The motorcycle club members calling themselves Patriot Guard Riders are trying to shield mourners from cruel jeers by adherents of a tiny fundamentalist church who picket military funerals to reflect their belief that U.S. combat deaths are a sign God is punishing the United States for harboring homosexuals. Some protesters’ signs said, “Thank God for IEDs,” the improvised explosive devices, or homemade bombs, that kill many U.S. soldiers.
Scarletm,
Right on and 'hey, gurl'! It do seem awful funny, no doubt.
TB2012,
APs...I was thinking the same thing. Sumpin' waaaaay funny about that whole church story. Sounds like something 'intelligently designed' to get folks fightin' mad to support the troops.
Scarlet,
Are you referring to Grenel of Abu-Ghraib fame ?
Hi all,
Interesting new blog topic. I deeply apologise for my extended absence and low-profile as of late. I will certainly make up for this time lapse in this posting. Please forgive because it is very long. Seems more stuff is being released. Please have a good read for yourselves.
Unfortunately, some of the university and research releases do not have a web address to link and were issued via internal newsgroup broadcasts. Sorry.

Search For Alien Life Challenges Concepts, Says CU-Boulder Professor
For scientists eying distant planets and solar systems for signs of alien activity, University of Colorado at Boulder Professor Carol Cleland suggests the first order of business is to keep an open mind.
It may be a mistake to try to define life, given such definitions are based on a single example -- life on Earth, said Cleland, a philosophy professor and fellow at the NASA-funded CU-Boulder Center for Astrobiology. The best strategy is probably to develop a "general theory of living systems," she said.
Many biologists agree the best definition of living systems today is the "chemical Darwinian definition" involving self-sustaining chemical systems that undergo evolution at the molecular level, she said. But the theory is limited in that life on Earth probably resulted from physical and chemical "contingencies" present at the time of its origin on the planet.
"What we really need to do is to search for physical systems that challenge our current concept of life, systems that both resemble familiar life and differ from it in provocative ways," she said. Cleland participated in an astrobiology symposium at the annual American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting held in St. Louis Feb. 16 to Feb. 20.
In 1976, for example, NASA's Viking 1 spacecraft conducted automated biology experiments on Mars by mixing soil samples with radioactively labeled nutrients to determine if metabolic "burps" from possible extraterrestrial microbes could be detected, she said. Although positive readings convinced at least some team scientists that life was present, a subsequent investigation by a second Viking instrument failed to find evidence of organic molecules on the planet's surface.
"Initially, the scientists were ready to break out the champagne," said Cleland. "But because subsequent investigations yielded baffling results that didn't fit the original metabolic definition of life they were working with, NASA eventually concluded the original signal was not evidence of life. This is an experiment that is still debated today, and it's a classic example of an anomaly."
Out of more than 100 amino acids, terrestrial life constructs all of its proteins from only about 20 of them, suggesting a single origin for life on Earth, said Cleland. "It's very difficult to generalize about life based on just one example," she said.
An article by Cleland and CU-Boulder molecular, cellular and developmental biology Professor Shelley Copley, published online in the Jan. 16 International Journal of Astrobiology, explores the idea that an "alternative microbial life" may exist on Earth. Such a "shadow biosphere" could have a different molecular architecture and biochemistry than known life and would be undetectable with current techniques like microscopy, cell cultivation and Polymerase Chain Reaction amplification, the authors wrote.
Despite new suites of sophisticated instruments developed in recent years, the ability of scientists to detect life on Mars or in another solar system is probably very limited, Cleland said. "If the DNA in an alien organism was even slightly different than the DNA in life on Earth, with a different suite of nucleotide bases to encode genetic information, we probably wouldn't be able to recognize it."
So what might be out there? "It's not too far-fetched to imagine an alien microbe whose genetic material directly and adaptively changes in response to different environmental conditions," said Cleland. "Instead of looking for life as we know it, scientists may be better served to look for anomalies, which amounts to looking for life as we don't know it."
In the past decade, scientists have discovered more than 170 new planets around other stars, a number that seems to grow by the month due to clever new planet-hunting techniques, Cleland said. In the future, astrobiologists surveying other planets will no doubt encounter non-living systems that are "really weird," she said.
"In such cases, it probably is best to suspend judgment," she said. "The great strength of science is its tentativeness, and through history, it has been the careful analysis of anomalies that have eventually changed scientific paradigms."

New theory resolves mystery of anomalous cosmic rays
San Antonio -- When Voyager 1 finally crossed the "termination shock" at the edge of interstellar space in December 2004, space physicists anticipated the long-sought discovery of the source of anomalous cosmic rays. These cosmic rays, among the most energetic particle radiation in the solar system, are thought to be produced at the termination shock -- the boundary at the edge of the solar system where the million-mile-per-hour solar wind abruptly slows. A mystery unfolded instead when Voyager data showed 20 years of predictions to be wrong.
A new theory published in the February 17 issue of the Geophysical Research Letters by Dr. David McComas of Southwest Research Institute and Dr. Nathan Schwadron of Boston University explains why the energization of anomalous cosmic rays is almost entirely absent where Voyager passed through the blunt nose of the termination shock. While the shape of the shock was formerly thought to be unimportant, the new theory explains how this shape is the major factor in particle energization.
McComas and Schwadron say that understanding the role of the termination shock's shape in the energization of anomalous cosmic rays may be a stepping stone to understanding the influence of shock shapes for energization of particle radiation throughout the cosmos. Shocks energize many forms of this dangerous particle radiation, which pose significant hazards to astronauts on space missions, such as future manned missions to the Moon and Mars. "Models showed we should see the source energy spectrum of anomalous cosmic rays at the termination shock," says McComas, senior executive director of the SwRI Space Science and Engineering Division. "We were pretty sure we knew what we'd see, but when we got there it wasn't what we expected and it clearly was not the source of the anomalous cosmic rays."
Researchers were uncertain where the termination shock would even be found, but they knew there would be a jump in magnetic fields, a deceleration of plasma and other signs. "It's like walking across a field when you don't know where the edge of the property is," says McComas. "You know you're at the boundary when you finally see the fence."
The shape of the termination shock wasn't thought to be important, so most researchers treated it as being circular, with the magnetic field from the solar wind spiraling out and piercing through it at a single point. McComas and Schwadron showed that acceleration of anomalous cosmic rays can be easily explained by including a more realistic termination shock shape. "In fact, the termination shock couldn't be circular because the solar system is moving through the galaxy, which would create more of a flattened egg shape," says Schwadron. "A flattening of the nose of the termination shock leads to a time dependant acceleration process."
The production of anomalous cosmic rays requires a connection to the termination shock (the point where it's pierced by the magnetic field line) and the ability for energetic particles to reside near that connection for up to about a year. Using the new model, simple calculations showed particles could remain at a connection point for about 300 days, further evidence of a valid model.
Voyager 1 didn't see the energetic anomalous cosmic rays when it crossed the termination shock. "The 20-million-electron-volts-per-particle helium that we saw was less than 10 percent of what was predicted. Similarly, we saw only 5 percent of what was predicted for 4-million-electron-volts-per-particle oxygen," says McComas. "We weren't off by 5 or 10 percent, we were off by factors of 10 and 20."
The new model shows that particles can indeed be accelerated at the termination shock, but not at the nose where Voyager crossed it. "The particles don't get accelerated up to the highest energies until the field line has moved a long way out and its 'feet' have moved back along the sides of the termination shock," says McComas. "This means the source of the energetic anomalous cosmic rays must be on the flanks."
The Voyager 2 spacecraft is also moving out of the solar system, making single-point measurements as it travels. It is expected to pass the termination shock, farther back from the nose, within the next 23 years. "The explanation given here provides predictions that Voyager 2 should observe a larger jump in energetic particle fluxes and a more unfolded anomalous cosmic ray spectrum as it crosses the termination shock," says Schwadron.
The Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) spacecraft, scheduled to launch in the summer of 2008, will be the first to make global images of the interactions around the termination shock. At that time, researchers will be able to view global interactions at the termination shock's nose, flanks and tail. Combined with data from Voyagers 1 and 2, these observations will enable researchers to understand the global interaction of the solar system with the galaxy for the first time. "Even without IBEX, this is a big step in understanding what's going on at the termination shock," says McComas. "We really feel that our answer to this mystery is just too simple to be wrong."

Life on Earth 'unlikely to have emerged in volcanic springs'
The latest findings of experiments to re-create the conditions under which life could emerge from chemical reactions suggest that volcanic springs and marine hydrothermal events are unlikely to have provided the right environment, a leading researcher from the United States will tell an international meeting tomorrow (14 February 2006) at the Royal Society, the UK national academy of science.
David Deamer, professor emeritus of chemistry at the University of California at Santa Cruz, will reveal his results to delegates at a two-day international scientific meeting on 'Conditions for the emergence of life on the early Earth'. His results, not yet published, were obtained from experiments carried out in the volcanic regions of Kamchatka, Russia, and Mount Lassen, California, USA.
Ahead of his presentation, Professor Deamer said: "It is about 140 years since Charles Darwin suggested that life may have begun in a 'warm little pond'. We are now testing Darwin's idea, but in 'hot little puddles' associated with the volcanic regions of Kamchatka and Mount Lassen.
"The results are surprising and in some ways disappointing. It seems that hot acidic waters containing clay do not provide the right conditions for chemicals to assemble themselves into 'pioneer organisms'.
"We found that organic compounds like amino acids and the bases of DNA, which are the building blocks for life, became strongly held to the surfaces of clay particles in the volcanic pools in Kamchatka. Phosphate, another essential ingredient for life, also became held to the surface of the clay. We saw the same thing in a boiling pool at Mount Lassen.
"The reason this is significant is that it has been proposed that clay promotes interesting chemical reactions relating to the origin of life. However, in our experiments, the organic compounds became so strongly held to the clay particles that they could not undergo any further chemical reactions.
"In addition, when we introduced soap-like molecules into the pools, they did not form membranes, which would be required to form cells."
Professor Deamer added: "We don't know what to make of this yet, but these results do appear to narrow down some of our ideas about where life could have begun. One possibility is that life really did begin in a 'warm little pond', but not in hot volcanic springs or marine hydrothermal vents."

"...The CIA's maritime interdiction program was designed to stop suspect cargo vessels on the high seas, mostly in the Straits of Malacca and the South China Sea, and search them for nuclear material and missiles and their respective components. The unique and most sensitive aspect of the CIA program was the use of Southeast Asian sea pirates to gain access to the interdicted vessels.
holy f&^%k!!! this piracy thing was/is a serious concern in this region, very frequent ship-jackings. The Indonesian, Malaysian and Singapore navies now have to do joint patrols, just to reassure the commercial vessels.

Regarding the "adherents of a tiny fundamentalist church who picket military funerals to reflect their belief that U.S. combat deaths are a sign God is punishing the United States for harboring homosexuals," I feel a mini-rant brewing...
First, these un-American, unpatriotic, subhumans need to realize the blood and bodies of soldiers is what gives them the Constitutional freedom to express themselves (i.e., freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom to congregate).
A dead soldier is the ultimate sacrifice for this country and the values and beliefs for which it stands. Gay or not, we are all brothers and sisters in the armed forces bound together by love of country and the desire to defend and serve. We must trust and depend on each other for the safety and well-being of each other and the entire company.
In doing your utmost, even unto death, you are conferring no favor. You are privileged to be able to do so much for your country.
In my personal experiences of death on the battlefield, one never is the same. Soldiers and subordinates guarding and protecting each other while simultaneously crawling, clawing toward the enemy regardless of mortars, IEDs, RPGs, land mines, snipers. When you have the dying blood of a fellow soldier on your hands ... it screws with you. It hurts. It can't be explained why good, brave men & women have to die.
When you witness a fellow soldier getting fragged by an IED, there are body parts and blood everywhere. I HAVE SEEN THIS ... too many times. Fortunately, for me, I was able to continue to fight for my country and the soldiers under my command who are injured or killed and for all of our families at home.
When you see men who have demonstrated discipline and courage, killed and wounded, it naturally raises a lump in your throat and sometimes produces a tear in your eye.
Another word: DISRESPECT. The man who finds twenty dollars on the street or wins it at the slot machine thinks lightly of it, and before long it is as lightly spent. The same man who works and sweats for that same amount respects it and grudgingly parts with it when he has won it. So with patriotism. The light feelings of love and reverence for our country engendered by shouting for the flag on the 4th of July are too haphazard, too cheap. The man who has served a year with sweat and some discomfort feels that truly he has a part in his country, and that of a truth he has, and he is a patriot.
Their presence is unwanted and their intentions are misguided. Personally, I hope they all burn in eternal damnation for disrespecting a soldier's ultimate sacrifice and a family's ultimate loss.
Sorry. Perhaps not my best rant. Got too emotional there to write effectively. I hope you all understand and please forgive.
~Greg
Hi all...
Adrenaline117, thanks for the support, though I wish I didn't have this feeling of guilt. It seems I've got no choice other than to disagree with the President on this issue. And now, I'm even more confused, because I've been hearing all day that BUSH DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS DEAL. A good rule of thumb is that if you don't know about a deal, don't support it, yet that's precisely what Bush is doing. It makes no sense; he should be upset that he wasn't told of this deal (I'm not sure if it's already gone through), but he's threatening to veto legeslation to block this deal. It pains me to have to disagree with him on this, but this is a national security risk. I've been praying that he'll change his mind about this deal with the ports...
I've never stopped asking "why" about things, I've just been asking "why" about things that have to do with Mars, Iapetus, and space in general...
John
John,
There is no guilt in disagreeing. It is part of growing, learning, and maturing. Please do not be fooled into thinking you must accept everything without question. What makes us free and this country strong is the allowance to disagree. It shows you are thinking and eventually not easily mislead.
I am sure your family has had their disagreements. They figured it out, resolved it, and moved on.
Take a lesson, this is the beginning of learning, opening one's eyes, and maturing.
Some day John, you just might shatter all your dictated thoughts and develop, support, and defend your own. Then you have truly evolved to the next step.
Have no guilt, John. Disagreeing, being skeptical, and questioning is very healthy. I agree it can also be very frustrating when stories do not agree; but that is where you use your critical thinking and experience to resolve. Practice it ... develop it!
You will get there!

And what about the United Arab Emirates.. another country created out of thin air and beholden to Great Britain and United States but wait there is more...the most corrupt bank scandal in the world's history never to be investigated because the BCCI and the Bush crime family kept their books in UAE.
Trust me..BCCI...this is the one that got away and it "keeps on ticking".
John when you blogged on a few months back, you said you were going to limit your political opinions. Oddly you are much like Bush in that you do exactly the opposite to what you say you're going to do. Keep up the good work.

John is confused because some people have been cutting the Puppeteer's strings (I guess)
Regarding renewable energy: I wonder if some "obsolete" black ops technology is about to go mainstream. I couldn't help thinking of that when the shrub said it would be startling. If this is the case, I'm sure it will be set up to continue to benefit the oil fiends I mean companies.
Otherwise the whole thing smacks of the usual election cycle psyops.
Now if someone could come up with an alternate renewable fuel source that could directly replace oil and gasoline without having to junk millions of cars, that would be an accomplishment. Especially if that new fuel source didn't trash the environment.
ericswan is totally spot on about the BCCI scandal continuing to reverbrate. I was watching Lou Dobbs on a restaurant TV earlier this evening and judging from reading the closed captioning, it looked to me that in his next broadcast he was going to make all the connections to the Bush crime family and why the port ownership mess is just part of business as usual for the BCF. If Dobbs hasn't done so already, he should spend an hour or two reading the Wayne Madsen Report.
Apparently, the shrub thought he could do anything and get away with it. But the ownership of the ports seem to be a miscalculation I hope starts waking people up. If John is any indication there may be some hope in that department.
Regarding the radar anomalies: It doesn't surprise me. Why should weather manipulation be limited to just hurricane season? Why not set us up for the mother of all tornado seasons when spring gets here? Or if RCH was right about there being two factions fighting each other with weather technology it wouldn't be much of a stretch to see the battleground shift. Maybe there was a war over winter? I seem to recall for where I live we were supposed to have had a hard winter and it's so far been pretty much a bust. While on the other hand other parts of the country get slammed big time. I missed getting dumped on with huge amounts of snow by just a few hundred miles. Usually everything just plows right up Kentucky on its way north.
When even the most unobservant person has started to notice the weather is seriously screwed up, then we know we're in for it now. Whatever that means.
Wow, I sense some change a brewing.
Hi all...
Thanks, adrenaline117...
Ericswan, I guess you're right. My bad. The reason I did that was that someone (I forget who, but I think it could have been TB2012) said something like...
"Oh dear, I hope we don't get into politics"
That was on the Captain's Blog, where the main topic was the hurricane season. However, with all the accusations towards Bush, I felt like I had to say something. I think I even asked if y'all would let me take back what I said about limiting my political comments. I'm 95% sure that y'all gave the green light for that, so that's why I started up with the political comments again. I learned a long time ago that politics, especially TALKING politics, runs in my dad's side of the family (my grandmom even ran for something, but lost). This could explain my craving to talk politics with anyone that'll listen. I don't think I'd compare myself to Bush the way you did (I'd compare myself to John "flip-flop" Kerry: "I acutally voted FOR the $87 billion, BEFORE I voted against it.")...

John,
You have no idea of the depth of the deception and disingenuousness of the Bush Administration...sadly, it's not so much Dubya (his role is (un)witting enabler and front-man) but his minions and their minions and their corporate masters. Sadly, this is the culmination of decades of effort, that began the day JFK was assinated.
The democracy/republic is one in name only....we have already lost it. And many fools, like you, wave a flag that has only lies and greed and deception behind it. It is different than the American flag that I and Greg and others wave. The cloth on the end of the stick may look the same, but the flag you've been waving deserves to be spit on and burnt...the flag that Greg and I and others 'honor' may only fly again in our hearts, but it is the flag that all true patriots and lovers of liberty can gaze on with pride and nobility and honor.
Open your eyes....open your mind.
Glory!

February 23, 2006 -- More evidence surfaces of Christian evangelicals being folded into U.S. intelligence operations. WMR has previously reported on Christian evangelical groups, linked to an entity called Mission Aviation Fellowship, being involved in off-the-books operations in Afghanistan involving transporting Afghan warlords and high-grade heroin.
Two days ago, just before Uganda's first multiparty elections in 20 years, Ugandan police arrested Peter Waldron, a 59-year old U.S. citizen from Wyoming, was arrested In the Kisugu suburb of Kampala along with three Ugandan nationals and a citizen of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Waldron had a business card that identified him as founder of City of Faith Ministries, Inc. and an adviser to an organization called Contact America Group. Waldron was also identified as a freelance journalist, a photographer, and a correspondent for a newsletter called The Africa Dispatch. Waldron had billed himself in an interview with The New Republic as a preacher and information technology consultant. Waldron told the magazine that he was a former member of the U.S. military who became a missionary. He also claimed he was a radio talk show host, Republican Party campaign adviser, and GOP lobbyist. Waldron had worked with the Ugandan Health Ministry since 2002.
CIA's new mantra: Spying for Jesus
However, Waldron was also caught in Kampala with four assault rifles and 180 rounds of ammunition. Waldron's publisher was noticed seated in the Ugandan High Court during the show trial of Uganda's opposition leader, Col. Kizza Besigye, who is giving Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni -- a close U.S. ally -- a strong challenge in today's elections.
Waldron was charged with terrorism. A U.S. embassy spokeswoman said she could not reveal any details about Waldron, citing his protections under the "U.S. Government's Privacy Act."
Another U.S. "Christian" evangelical spy nabbed. Caught just prior to Ugandan election.
After many years of debate within the U.S. intelligence community about the propriety of using journalists and religious personnel as spies, the Waldron arrest suggests that both are now being used by the "new CIA" without restraint.
On March 7, 1999, three U.S. missionaries were arrested at Harare International Airport while trying to board a Swissair flight for Zurich. The three -- Gary Blanchard, Joseph Pettijohn and John Dixon -- who worked for Harvestfield Ministries, a Pentecostal group based in Indiana, were attempting to smuggle a large cache of weapons out of Zimbabwe. The three had been active in Lubumbashi, in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo's Katanga Province, and were accused of mercenary activities in the diamond- and gold-rich territory. At their trial in Harare, the three mercenaries claimed the 43 handguns, rifles, and other weapons were for "hunting."
Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez also recognized the combination of U.S. intelligence and "missionary" activities when he recently ordered the expulsion of the Sanford, Florida-based New Tribes Mission from their bases in the tribal areas of Amazonas, Bolivar, Apure and Delta Amacuro. Chavez said the group was a CIA front for U.S. mining and pharmaceutical interests.
CIA "missionaries" in resource-rich Venezuelan states like Delta Amacuro shill for U.S. mining and pharmaceutical firms
The use by the CIA of religious workers and journalists as spies now puts all legitimate American religious and journalistic activities abroad in severe jeopardy.
Hi all...
I woke up this morning to hear that Iraq could plunge into civil war at any moment. I'm praying that doesn't happen...
Sunking, I'm not sure I buy into all that about the depths of deception in the Bush family. All I'm doing is thinking that this port deal is a bad idea. Also, I'm allowing for the possibility that I'm wrong, and that Bush knows what he's doing, and that this won't be a national security issue...

Again, one thing to denigrate anothers argument or issue, but that goes beyond the pale, especially when it's against an innoffensive, well-spoken, topic-contributing Shoddie like Crypt0. If it was against a Pif-like individual (i.e. asshole!) then I'd think otherwise.

John,
To expand on what SunKing is saying about the meaning behind the flag and patriotism ...
I believe Mr. SunKing and I feel we learned about the goodness and strength that made this country what it was. We gave and were part of the front-line defense. When one has served and sacrificed for this country, everything has new meaning.
When someone who has given of him/herself for the benefit of this country, when political leaders and government actions impose and take away that which we fight for and whole-heartedly believe in (i.e., the Constitution, Bill of Rights, personal freedoms, etc...), it is a disgusting feeling and, I feel, significantly reduces our efforts and sacrifices.
I believe in a country where people still have a voice. Where voting by the general populace still matters. Now, with Diebold and voter scams/fraud, it cheapens a right that people struggled for. The population voice is muted. The machines are in place and can directly influence any election.
I believe in a country where one is free to express, live, and believe in whatever they want provided it does not hurt others. With Big Brother on the grow, surveliance, monitoring, watching, tracking, it is impossible. One must always be wary of every move and intention.
I believe in a country that is built on trust, friendship, helping others. Thanks to the paranoia and fear-mongering of the current government, no one trusts anyone and everyone is suspect.
I believe in a country built of pride, family values, discipline, and honesty. Thanks to the decay broadcasted on TV and the sway of the media, values are nonexistent and discipline is equated to suppression and abuse. How will we have the strong, brave people so desperately needed to keep this country strong and great? The answer is -- they do not want it. It is easier for the few to control the many.
But I still give, fight, and willingly desire to make the ultimate sacrifice if needed. Because I still believe in the foundation stones that built this country and that belief will die only when I die.
I despise the American Flag ass-wiping of the current Administration, the desecration of the Constitution ("it's only a goddamned piece of paper"), and the deletion of our basic rights and freedoms under the false guise of national security and the patriot act. This current administration is destroying the work of our Founding Fathers which is preserved through blood, sweat, tears, and bodies of the brave military men & women and others who sacrificed to make this country the ideal model it was.
My fight as a disposable servent to this great land is not in the name of the current Administration; it is in the name of our Founding Fathers, the Constitution, and the people of the United States.
The modern-day "patriot" of your generation, John, only follows because it is convenient. Perhaps, because it is "the thing to do." But does anyone understand the history of sacrifice, pride, love, and struggle behind the Red-White-and-Blue? Go talk to any service man/women current or former -- they will tell you what America is really supposed to be.
Whoa. I'll stop now. Felt good to get it out. Thanks for bearing with me everybody!
~Greg
Sunking: it could very well be that Dubya is on the verge of disclosing but only in a very limited and controlled way. Given the rate at which mainstream technology has advanced in the last 100 years, it wouldn't be hard to imagine that given the funding black ops tech has advanced even faster. It might suit TPTB to let loose a little of the old stuff just to make it appear they are working on our behalf. All the shrub would have to say is something like "our scientists have been working on ways to break our addiction to oil and have just taken the next step in our energy independence..." You get the idea. Except its some tech that's been around at least 30-40 years. All of which would be tightly controlled by the same people who always profit off the backs of others. As usual. Some of the oil company propaganda pieces, oops I meant commericials and advertising have taken little baby steps in that direction.
John: I will give you the benefit of the doubt and take the quotation marks off your name for once. You need to turn off your TV, your AM radio and read something else other than the offical dreck of the Republican Party. There is so much information on the Bush family that if you read it and had anything resembling an open mind you would be appalled, angry and more than a little betrayed.
Your concern about the ports is a step in the right direction but what you need to realise that incident is just a drop of water glistening at the top of a very big iceberg of corruption and treason that dates back to at least the late 1930s involving the Bush family. Read about how the Nazis sunk cargo ships after W's granddaddy sent the ship's manifests back to the home office in Germany for the insurance company he "worked" for. Or more recently, what W's daddy was doing in Dallas, Texas on a certain day in 1963, or later when he and Reagan cooked up the Iran Contra affair or what his kids Neil and Jeb did with the BCCI and the savings & loan scandals which resulted in a lot of regular folks losing every dime they had. Or for W himself, his massive alcohol abuse and likely cocaine as well. How he stole land from a family to build a baseball stadium. Not to mention all the shady oil deals including selling all his stock in a company he was running three months before it bellied up without reporting it to the Securities Exchange Commission. It goes on and on and on.
Everytime W praises a social programme somewhere in America, he then goes back to the White House and guts their funding. That alone would take up an entire blog. He lied over and over about what Iraq had. There are reports out there that Saddam wants to show the court trying him the reciepts that prove all of the weapons of mass destruction he HAD in the 1980s were sold to him by no other than Donald Rumsfeld.
If you believe in Bush that much, then read the actual facts of his actions and see if it survives the truth. I bet that it doesn't and you know it.

One other thing. Remember that I predicted awhile back that Iraq will plunge into civil war? Regrettably, that should be about any minute now...
One other thing about Bush's father. After Noriega was removed from power, he also had some documentation of interest to a court but he never got a chance to let any of it reach the light of day. If he had, Bush the first and Reagan would have been sitting in jail for a long time.

Ms.T.,
You seem to be especially plagued by chemtrails. You might consider consulting with local universities in your area and ask if there are any tests that can be performed on the precipitation from these events and possibly spectral analysis to determine chemical content. You never know what's in that stuff. You may want to get out of Dodge!

Gulf War veterans suing companies for chemical exports
Friday, January 17, 2003
NEW YORK (CNN) -- Twelve years after the Persian Gulf War began, some American veterans of that conflict are finding new ammunition in their fight to find out who supplied Iraq chemicals that might have made them sick.
More than 5,000 veterans are plaintiffs in a lawsuit that accuses companies of helping Iraqi President Saddam Hussein build his chemical warfare arsenal. The plaintiffs are among the tens of thousands who came down with "Gulf War Illness," a debilitating series of ailments that can include chronic fatigue, skin rashes, muscle joint pain, memory loss, and brain damage. .............
Seven companies in the Iraqi weapons declaration have been named defendants. Pitts said the plaintiffs will sue more of the listed companies next.
Germany is home to the most major suppliers listed in Iraq's 1998 U.N. declaration. The Netherlands and Switzerland each are home to three companies on the list. France, Austria and the United States each are home to two. The declaration says Singapore was the largest exporter of chemical weapons precursors. Other countries home to alleged chemical exporters to Iraq include India, Egypt, Spain and Luxembourg, with one each.
:-X :-X
.....As far as I know, no action has been taken so far......which means only 1 thing. The company belongs to the Government. On a similar vein, Singapore is the world's largest manufacturer and exporter of .....LANDMINES....
Ms.T,
That friend of yours that knew the Bush family, did he know what Dubya was doing hanging out with Satan-worshiping drug dealers in Matamoros, Mexico back in the '80s and why he dissappeared just before the entire bunch was massacred ?
Hi all...
Adrenaline117, thanks for expanding on what SK said...
Starshipconstellation, I vaguely remember you saying something about Iraq's possible plunging into civil war. I never thought it could come true, though. The new government looked to be up and running relatively smoothly until yesterday, with that mosque blown up. I do hope that there's a peaceful solution to this before it spins out of control. I heard an interesting theory on the radio; Al-Qaeda might be responsible for the mosque blowing up. They COULD be trying to do the old "divide and conquer" strategy, making the Sunnis believe the Shiites did something, and vice versa. As for the ports deal, that's the only thing I disagree with him about. Everything else, including the spying on terror suspects, I agree with. Here's a hypothetical scenario...
Let's say that we were 50% certain that a terrorist was going to set off a nuke in L.A., but we wanted to be 100% certain. We have 2 choices: Spy on his phone calls and invade his privacy, or don't spy on him, and possibly miss vital information (like the time of the attack). We choose not to spy on him, because we don't want the American Crimminal Liberties Union pouncing on us. 2 weeks later, the terrorist remote-detonates his nuke, with hundreds of thousands of casualties, and most of L.A. uninhabitable. Would you be happy that the terrorist's privacy was respected?...

Boy, where i come from, this kinda thinking is what pulled the wool over the people's eyes in the 1960s.
The only people arrested and detained without trial were political activists, intellectuals, and artists. The longest serving was 23 years in prison without trial, because he refused to confess to being a communist.
See: http://www.singapore-window.org/81130sc.htm
I no longer believe in suitcase nukes and I refuse to be terrorized by the thought of them. I believe the ones that do exist are no longer operable due to lack of maintenance and know-how on the part of any idiots that stole them or bought them on the black market.
Also, any of them stupid enough to remain in their proximity long enough to learn anything will be dead.
Suitcase nukes are now nothing more than a convenient psy-ops tool that can be trotted out to terrorize the American people everytime Ramadan rolls around. Come Ramadan, you will surely hear from that Paul Williams ejit again on C2C who will in turn get George Noory all worked up . Another energy drain and slight of hand to distract you from the OTHER hand reaching up your backside.

Release 06-17
RADIATION "SAFE ZONE" MIGRATES WITH SOLAR CYCLE
A "safe zone" in the radiation belts surrounding Earth moves higher in altitude and latitude during peaks in solar activity, according to new research by a NASA-led team. The safe zone offers reduced radiation intensities to any potential spacecraft that must fly in the radiation belt region.
"This new research brings us closer to understanding how a section of the radiation belt disappears," said Dr. Shing Fung of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md. Fung is lead author of a paper on this research to appear in the on-line version of Geophysical Research Letters today.
The team based its results on measurements of high-speed particles (electrons), which comprise the "Van Allen radiation belt", from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's series of polar-orbiting meteorological spacecraft during 1978 to 1999. As the spacecraft flew in their polar orbits, they detected fewer radiation belt particles at a certain latitude range, indicating safe zone passages by the spacecraft. The researchers compared the data taken during relatively low solar activity periods, called solar minimum, to data from peak solar activity periods, called solar maximum. They noticed a shift in the safe-zone location towards higher latitudes, and therefore altitudes, during solar maximum.
If the radiation belts were visible, they would resemble a pair of donuts around the Earth, one inside the other with the Earth in the "hole" of the innermost donut. The safe zone, called the "slot region", would appear as a gap between the inner and outer donut. The belts are actually comprised of high-speed electrically charged particles (electrons and atomic nuclei) that are trapped in the Earth's magnetic field.
The Earth's magnetic field can be represented by lines of magnetic force emerging from the South Polar region, out into space and back into the North Polar region. Because radiation-belt particles are charged, their motions are guided by the magnetic lines of force. Trapped particles would bounce between the poles while spiraling around the field lines.
Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio waves and background gas (plasma) are also trapped in this region. Just like a prism that can bend a light beam, the plasma can bend the VLF wave propagation paths, causing the waves to flow along the Earth's magnetic field. VLF waves clear the safe zone by interacting with the radiation belt particles, removing a little of their energy and changing their direction. This lowers the place above the polar regions where the particles bounce (called the mirror point). Eventually, the mirror point becomes so low that it is in the Earth's atmosphere. When this happens, the trapped particles collide with atmospheric particles and are lost.
According to the team, the safe zone is created in a region where conditions are favorable for the VLF waves to kick the particles. Their research is the first indication that the location of this region can change with the solar activity cycle. The Sun goes through an 11-year cycle of activity, from maximum to minimum, and back again. During solar maximum, increased solar ultraviolet (UV) radiation heats the Earth's upper atmosphere, the ionosphere, causing it to expand. This increases the density of the plasma trapped in Earth's magnetic field.
Favorable conditions for the VLF wave-particle interaction depend on the specific combination of plasma density and magnetic field strength. Although plasma density generally decreases with altitude, expansion of the ionosphere during solar maximum makes the plasma denser at the safe zone's solar-minimum altitude, and forces the favorable plasma density for the safe zone to migrate to a higher altitude. In addition, magnetic field strength also decreases with altitude. To find the favorable magnetic field strength for the safe zone at higher altitudes, one would have to migrate toward the poles (higher latitudes), where the magnetic field lines are more concentrated and thus stronger.
"This discovery helps narrow down the search for the primary wave-particle interaction region that creates the safe zone," said Fung. "Although no known spacecraft uses the safe zone extensively now, our knowledge could help planning and operations of future missions that want to take advantage of the zone."
According to the researchers, their discovery was enabled by a new data selection and retrieval tool developed by the team, called the Magnetospheric State Query System. The research was funded by NASA and the National Research Council. The team includes Fung, Dr. Xi Shao (National Research Council, Washington), and Dr. Lun C. Tan (QSS Group, Inc., Lanham, Md.).

Lizzie Gilchrist, 24, asked her GP to have pain-relief spray Sativex imported from Canada under a British government scheme. It is unlicensed for use here.
But many Primary Care Trusts are refusing to allow their doctors to prescribe the drug — some citing “possible adverse effects” — even if patients are willing to pay privately.

Strong quake hits southern Africa
At least two Mozambicans have died and 13 been injured as an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 shook southern Africa.
The quake struck central Mozambique at midnight local time and was also felt in several neighbouring countries including Zimbabwe and South Africa.
It is the most powerful earthquake in the area for more than a century.
The two dead were a child and a sick person in the town of Espungabero in Manica province near the epicentre. Cities escaped serious damage.
Traditional houses collapsed in Espungabero says the BBC's Jose Tembe.
Further south in the capital, Maputo, one resident living on the 24th floor of a block of flats said he woke to find his building swaying.
There are no reports of buildings damaged in Maputo, but 15 people in the city were injured, most of them while trying to get out of buildings in panic.
In Espungabero, officials confirmed 13 injuries.

Legislation makes third appearance in General Assembly
By JANE HUH
STATE CAPITOL BUREAU
Published Monday, February 20, 2006
Julie Falco came to Springfield last week for the third year in a row to persuade lawmakers to legalize marijuana for medical purposes.
With her, she brought a Tupperware container with marijuana-laced brownies and “popped them right in the room.” That drew reactions – “most of them were grins or something’s up” looks, she said - from people in the hearing room.
“I would not have been able to testify in front of the Senate (committee) if I did not have my cannabis because I get very sensitive to really loud atmosphere, a lot of people, a lot of movement,” said Falco, a Chicago resident who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 20 years ago. “It’s just too much on my nervous system.”
With her doctor’s written endorsement, Falco eats three 1-inch marijuana brownie squares a day to treat her condition, which causes her legs to lock up and shake. On Wednesday, she said, the brownies “made it tolerable to be in an arena like that.”
Under legislation that passed out of the Senate committee to which Falco spoke, Illinoisans could legally grow and use marijuana to treat terminal illnesses and other debilitating health conditions.
Although the bill, Senate Bill 2568, was moved to the full Senate by a vote of only 6-5, the committee’s action signaled a growing push in Illinois to legalize use of marijuana for medical purposes.
The medical cannabis bill is making its third appearance in the General Assembly and is as close as it has ever been to becoming a legislative reality. Previous bills have not made it through the committee stage.

All,
Just heard from a HLM (high-level manager) that NASA is attempting to become more involved in monitoring the releases from several different associate universities -- many of which are involved as principle investigators for some of NASA/JPL's well-known missions. For example, MER, MRO, New Horizons, StarDust, and DI. Also, MGS and MARS Odyssey images as well as all other images are proposed to be held for a certain amount of time before being approved and cleared for release.
The budget for environmental and atmospheric studies was also cut by as much 25% - 40%. These are preliminary numbers. Final figures TBA perhaps in early March.
Sad.

Your post about the radiation safe zones was extremely interesting. Good stuff.
John: your response about suitcase nukes would have been laughable if it also had not been so sad. You are proof psyops works. If I remember correctly, Al Qaeda was originally a CIA list of people they were using in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets or something like that. In other words and in general terms, Al Qaeda was created by us to be used by us. Us meaning the corrupt elements of the US government. They are an instant boogeyman to scare people, just add oil. I also seem to recall Bin Laden was trained in the good old USA. They're all in it together, Bush and Bin Laden probably had lunch somewhere in an undisclosed location with Cheney.
You mean American CIVIL Liberties Union. Get it right. If it were not for them and others we would have long ago become some kind of fundamentalist Christian theocracy. Why go to Afghanistan for the Taliban when you can find them right here? But then you would like that, now wouldn't you?

Hi all...
Well, I woke up with a grim outlook for the next few days/weeks, but now, I'm feeling a little bit better. I'm now cautiously supportive of this ports deal. I didn't know, until I saw a little blurb on Fox News, that the UAE has been such a helpful and loyal ally in the War on Terror. I'm still not 100% comftortable with the deal, but I'm not completely against it anymore. IF the UAE can prove that this'll be a good deal, and IF we watch this carefully, then it SHOULD go ok, but I'm always open to the possibility that I'm wrong

What's It All About?
This is about a world financial implosion, and the eventual creation of a one-world government along with a universal currency.
The Zionists, who control the Federal Reserve, have used fiat credit to create an enormous inflation for the past 40 years. They used this wealth transfer to buy hard assets, especially monetary metals such as gold, as well as oil, knowing the coming financial crisis will demand a new currency, and that currency will be commodity-based. The only reason we are in Iraq is so Israel can control the world's oil, of which Iraq has massive reserves. Their final targets are Iran, and Venezuela, due to those nations also having massive oil reserves.
The ensuing world depression will collapse prices, enabling those holding certain commodities to be in a position to buy everything for pennies. The best part for the Zionist elite, is that will all be blamed on the Muslims.
Oh yeah, one more thing...

A British company, Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co., who runs major commercial operations at shipping ports in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, Miami, New Orleans and Philadelphia, has been sold to a UAE company.
The UAE Company, Dubai Port World, is state-owned, and now inherits their businesses.
Who Is involved
Lord Sterling of Plaistow, CEO of Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co., consummated the swindle, which will reward his Zionist investors with $7 billion.
Head Of Homeland Security
Michael Chertoff , who is a dual-citizen Israeli/American, ok's the deal.
Bob Dole
Dole, the 85 yr old ex-speaker, was a lobbyist for Dubai in this deal.
What Is The Scheme?
The core of the deal is a stock swindle. A group of Zionist stockholders inflated the stock price 300%, then sold it to the citizens of the UAE for $6.8 billion. Basically all the Arabs get are ‘Port Service Contracts’, and some marginal loading equipment
P&O the British company, that has been running six U.S. ports, is now a state-owned business in the United Arab Emirates.
Why An Arab Country?
Port managers are a dime a dozen. You have 10 in the US, and there are others in Japan, China, Australia, etc.
These are political contracts worth a fortune, and are the reason $60,000 a year politicians have fat Swiss bank accounts.
Neocons Take An Odd Stance
These are the same Bush Neocon/Zionist Advisors, who bombed Iraq to the stone age because Saddam was evil. They told us, 'They are bad, and we are good', but today the Zionists are 100% behind this port deal.
Who Are These People ?
These are Neo-Cons (new conservatives), and they are all Dual Citizen Israelis. Not a single one served in the US armed forces. They basically are a lobby that pushes for Israeli-oriented bills.
Paul Wolfowitz; Dov Zakheim; William Kristol; Robert Satloff; Norman Podhoretz; David Frum; Robert Kagan; Robert Satloff; Elliot Abrams; David Wurmser; Richard Haas; Ken Adelman; Richard Pearle; Edward Luttwak; Tenet/Cohen; Douglas Feith
All these men are Zionist warmongers, who adore and obey Israel, and who view America chiefly as Israel's financial sugar daddy and
mercenary slave. Their aim is global power for the Zionist elite, and profits for Zionist bankers and Illuminati-directed oil barons. They seem to have no problem if stacks of bloody young American fighting men mount up in Iraq, Iran, and Syria. The dead, after all, are valueless.
Their Real Goal
This port deal creates a patsy for the coming nuclear attack on America.
This Is Quite The Scam
Zionists skin the citizens of Dubai for $7 billion, and then set them up as fall-guys for a nuclear attack. Bush tells 300 million Americans: - "We must not discriminate against Arabs".
We just sit here talking about H-3's, ball games, and the value of our 401-k's, while Zionists plan a total economic collapse.

Check out the shrub's quote re: ports deal, this is a snip from the article;
NJ Sues Bush Over Port Newark Deal
New Jersey on Thursday sued the Bush administration in an effort to block a company based in the United Arab Emirates from taking over operations at the Port Newark container terminal until the federal government investigates possible security risks.
Meanwhile, the owner of the busy shipping center, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said it also has security concerns about the takeover and plans to file a lawsuit Friday to terminate the firm\\\'s lease at the port.
Port Newark is among several U.S. ports whose pending takeover by Dubai Ports World, a UAE-run firm, has provoked outrage from Republicans and Democrats.
President Bush on Thursday again defended the deal.
"The more people learn about the transaction that has been scrutinized and approved by my government," Bush said, "the more they\\\'ll be comforted that our ports will be secure."
However, Gov. Jon S. Corzine, said....

The Montana pressure point drew the stream all the way down the coast and the one in the east drew it all the way across in a straight line with the weather here in south central British Columbia cold and snow and the nor easter blowing into Boston and possibly New York City.

I don't want to run out the corporations - but really, they should be paying more taxes and not buying elections. Can you remember the last time a corporate charter was revoked ? Ever ? Corporations are not on the endangered species list yet :-)
The attitude towards excessive greed seems to be, "they're not bad-boys ... they're just ambitious".
I'd be happy with an obscene wealth tax - which would not affect people earning less than 20x the minimum wage. If the minimum wage is $5/hr, that's $10,000/yr, so, people who earn $200,000/yr or less would be unaffected. What you earn, minus what you put into stocks & savings etc equals what you spend. If there's a tax break for investing in America, then a consumption tax would be the way to go - if people earning 3x the minimum wage and under are not subject to the tax.
An obscene wealth tax is the only way to go from where Bush put the US ... that's why people who understand Economics and Taxes are talking openly about a flat tax.
I haven't heard the term Red Sea Pedestrians since I got in trouble for using the term at Carleton U back in 1985 - I lifted it from Monty Python and thought it was fair game. It seemed to balance with 'rug pilots'. Ah yes, remember 1985 ? Those were the days, when red meat was good and Russians were bad ... and Lil Johann was in diapers :-)
i'm curious - why can't British MP's ask questions about the Bank of England ? I didn't know it was a rule - maybe we have an over-inflated sense of what a bank is, does and represents. your banker is not your friend. There are those getting by and those getting rich - they're on the same side because they want the same rules. The banker and the sedentary/leisure class (moneyed elites) set up the rules - they pit one against the other and stand back hoping for a tie & lots of injuries.
John, have you ever watched/read 1984 ? OBL inspires the 2 minutes of hate and the government is head cheerleader - if OBL is caught, then people will get on with their miserable little lives and stop submitting to anal probes at the airport.
Crypto the government made corporations a "person" in 1896? and with that designation, corporations have "rights". This led to one corporation buying out their competitors. Monopoly is not just a board game.

David Bay knows the "nasty little secret" kept hidden by the leaders of world's major religions and governments.
And he knows exposing the evil secret is extremely dangerous, since the "keepers of doom" play for keeps, using deception, bribery and murder as their daily working tools.
In fact, as the days appear to dwindle to a precious few for America, the "keepers of doom" better known as the Illuminati, actually think they have won the final battle of their Luciferian prophecy, the plan now leading up to World War III and the destruction of America.
"Once the secret of how the Illuminati really operates is known, it is then up to the American people and the people of the world to stage massive uprisings and protests," said Bay of Cutting Edge Ministries, a Christian ministry designed to fight the oppression and fascism of the New World Order.
"This massive uprising or revolt is really the only thing that will stop them and the one thing they fear the most. That is why they use deception and murder to keep their plan so secret."
Most people when trying to finger the real culprits behind the New World Order are deceived, hoodwinked and manipulated into looking in the wrong direction, looking left when they should be looking right.
And Bay, who feels he has uncovered the secrets of the Illuminati master plan through years of biblical and historical research, said the masters of deception have essentially learned how to create a world wide environment of hatred by controlling both sides of every major war and pitting cultures, religions and nations against one another through covert means.
"The Illuminati are the masters of infiltration and deception," reminds Bay about the Luciferian group who he says is the ultimate chameleon, changing faces to meet their diabolical needs. "In a Christian country, they blend in and become Christians. In a Muslim or predominantly Jewish country, they do the same. They blend in and destroy from within as their ultimate goal is a one world fascist government and a one world religion.
"The same thing happens in the governments of the world. In America, they have taken over, as they control from within by spreading war when they proclaim peace is their objective and spreading fascism in the name of freedom and democracy.
Bay said the idea and the core beliefs behind the Illuminati world domination game plan are fairly simple to comprehend, since it evolved from a philosophy that was it's complete opposite.
He said Adam Weishaupt, a Jesuit priest who created the Masters of the Illuminati during the days our country was first founded, felt the teachings of Sir Francis Bacon and others could never be realized, saying a world utopia could never be created through peace and goodness, but only through violence and war.
Bay said America's present-day leaders, including the Bush family follow the Weishaupt teachings, now grown to become the worldwide Illuminati, including the usurpation of the Vatican as well as other major religions.
Bay said in a book entitled "The Broken Cross: Hidden Hand In The Vatican", by an ex-Catholic priest Piers Compton, tracing the Papal takeover by the Illuminati through the Jesuits, Weishaupt's evil intentions are revealed.
"Adam Weishaupt could view the prospect before him with a military mind. He had thrust and vision. He knew the value of surprise, which is grounded in secrecy...He was single-minded....He would blend mankind into one whole, eliminate tradition...suppress dogma?Weishaupt set himself apart from his fellows in the name of universal brotherhood. The ideal state that Weishaupt had in mind was...founded upon the impossible dream of human perfection," said Compton about the initial founding of the Illuminati America, which is now in its final stages of war and mass genocide to bring about a utopia for the so-called "chose people."
"On the First day of May, 1776, the secret society that was to profoundly affect much subsequent history came into existence as the Illuminati. The date and certain of its implications are noteworthy," as April 30 and May 1 are the two days of the Satanic holy sabbath, called "Beltaine".
Bay added for Weishaupt and his satanic followers, many in control of America today, this sabbath is the most important of the year, except for Halloween as human sacrifice is required on May 1 every year."
And within 13 short years, Weishaupt's satanic philosophy of freemasonry spread throughout Europe, infiltrating Masonic lodges and spreading its evi tentacles through various occult organization.
In America, freemasonry was also corrupted with it's leader Albert Pike, whose statue is still standing in Washington D.C., making a three-fold prediction, regarding the domination of the New World Order.
Not only have did his writings in the early 1800's predict World War I and II, but he claimed he had a vision of World War III taking place in the Middle East between Israel and her Arab neighbors, written at a time before the present day Israeli state was even created.
Besides the necessity of creating war through the takeover of all major world governments, the Illuminati powers, who also took over the world's financial institutions, realized before world domination could occur, Catholicism had to be infiltrated and controlled.
And Bay said this is where Compton's book plays a pivotal role in how the Illuminati accomplished the Vatican takeover.
"Compton published his book through Channel Islands, Neville Spearman in 1981. However, this book is almost impossible to find, because it was withdrawn within weeks of its initial release. I found this book in the Boston Public Library, where it is classified as a Reference Book, which means that no one can check it out. You can only read it at the library," said Bay.
"The precepts of this book are not entirely new; we have read much of this material before from non-Catholic sources. But, this is the first time that a former insider has confirmed what other authors have stated. Therefore, this book becomes a very important resource.
"In this book, he traces the alleged infiltration of the Roman church by the Illuminati. Of course, the Illuminati refers to those who are active in moving the world into the Satanic New World Order. Several other authors also have reported that the Roman Catholic Church is heavily involved in providing both spiritual and political leadership in this effort. We have heard Pope John Paul II preaching many of the themes of the New World Order and actively leading the world wide Ecumenical Movement, to the point of sharing the church podium with representatives of pagan religions. We have also reported to you the conclusions of Malachi Martin, a former Jesuit and professor at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute, in his book, "The Keys Of This Blood", where he boldly states that Pope John Paul II is leading the world spiritually into the New World Order.
"But, we have never had any former insider confirming what other authors have stated, that the Roman Catholic Papacy has been infiltrated and taken over by the Illuminati. Piers Compton is that man. He is a traditional and still practicing Catholic, who has written this book as a protest against the Catholic Church for its abandonment of its traditional teachings on Christian truth. This book details these recent changes."
Bay then goes in depth in an article on his web site about Compton's findings at www.cuttingedge.org.
"Compton then addresses the basic requirement for money. After all, Satan would not conceive of this most brilliant plan to take over the world without ensuring that the plotters would be properly backed financially. Satan had his man at the right financial helm, the Rothschild's of Germany.
"He (Weishaupt) was backed financially, as are most, if not all, anarchistic leaders, by a group of bankers under the House of Rothschild. It was under their direction that the long-range and worldwide plans of the Illuminati were drawn up..." Why would experienced international bankers like the Rothschilds be interested in a plan to take over the world for an absolute dictator? Because an absolute dictator could guarantee an absolute economic monopoly throughout the entire world. A world wide monopoly would produce historically unprecedented wealth for the bankers. Thus, the unlimited greed of man is providing the financial backing for the greatest evil the world has ever seen. But, we Christians should not be surprised, because the Apostle Paul, writing in 1 Timothy 6:10, that "The love of money is the root of all evil".
Compton then addresses the spiritual nature of this Jesuit priest who had just founded the Masters of the Illuminati. We learn that, not only was Weishaupt occultic, he and his key leaders were adepts in the ancient art of witchcraft.
"Excursions in the realm of the occult have earned ...a variety of epithets...charlatan, astrologer, possessor of the secret of eternal youth and of the great universal medicine...Weishaupt's claim to be possessed of an other-world influence may not have been wholly false... having the tests that made him a full-blooded Illuminist (the ceremony took place at night, in an underground vault near Frankfurt)...
"As part of the secrecy that masked its strength... leaders of the Society adopted classical names, mostly from Greek or Roman myth and history.? If this description of this particular Satanic initiation ceremony sounds familiar, you are remembering our description of the initiation of the Skull and Bones Secret Society of which President George Bush was an adept.
"The line of leadership succession toward the drive to the New World Order has always passed through Satanic Illuminist secret societies. Secret societies have always functioned as Satan's church, as the only way to pass the baton from generation to generation."
Finally, after 200 years, Bay said the Masters of the Illuminati Secret Society -- originators of the concept The New World Order --have achieved one of their major objectives, the infiltrating of their own Illuminist as Supreme Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church.
This breakthrough, according to Bay, occurred in the early 1960's when Pope Paul VI came into power.
"This time period also fits in with the general period of spiritual degradation and apostasy which we have noted in earlier programs and in our seminar," said Bay. "Interestingly, Christian author Bill Cooper, in his book, Behold A Pale Horse, states, 'In 1952, an alliance was formed bringing...together for the first time in history: The Black Families (European Nobility which have historically practiced occultic spiritualism), The Illuminati, The Vatican, and the Freemason, now working together to bring about the New World Order.'
Bio Unit,
Neither You (or any body else)ever commented on my brilliant plan for Middle East peace. I still think it is a good idea to ship the Zionists to the J.A.R. I got the idea from a Russian colleague of mine. He was always commenting on what a nice piece of real-estate it is and wondered why ALL of the Jews wouldn't want to live there, instead of a rat-hole like Israel. I jokingly asked him if maybe he would like to take some of our Zionists. He glared at me and then showed a fiendish grin.

Anonymous,
Not seen by you because of BSHOD.
No, I do not accept the official veriosn of ANYTHING to the point of Gospel. But I think the Holocaust is sufficiently documented, IMHO...pictures, films, German documents, etc, etc, etc. The official version tends to leave out the facts of how the Allies could have made commando attacks or even bombing attacks on concentration camps which would have served many to escape, or how they could have dropped weapons to the Nazi-instituted ghettos in Eastern Europe allowing the Jews to at least put up an armed resistance. The official version also typically leaves out how corporations profitted from the camps and from slave labor. No, the official version often lacks uncomfortable details.
Note also that I didn't BSHOD some of B_U's comments about the elements in power that seem to favor Israeli causes...I am not arguing that point. C'mon...I've adequately demonstrated my conspiracy-theory credential! :)
But I firmly believe in man's innate ability to cause harm to mankind, and I'd rather not see repeats of such infamy. And if I see fit to squash that kind of badinage here at FSHOD, I hope it's seen that I do it in the cause of peace and freedom and truth...not just to be some overbearing a-hole.
So don't try to imply that I'm something that I'm not!

NASA'S ORBITER NEARS RED PLANET RENDEZVOUS
NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter is nearing a crucial milestone. The spacecraft is preparing to slow itself to allow the red planet's gravity to grab it into orbit on March 10.
"Once the spacecraft has successfully been placed in position, this mission will greatly expand our scientific understanding of Mars, pave the way for future robotic missions later in this decade, and help us prepare for sending humans to Mars," said NASA's Director of the Mars Exploration Program Doug McCuistion.
Designed to examine the planet in unprecedented detail, the orbiter will return more data than all previous Mars missions combined. Before the orbiter can begin its mission, it will spend approximately six months adjusting its orbit with an adventurous process called aerobraking.
The initial capture by Martian gravity will put the orbiter into an elongated, 35-hour orbit. The planned orbit for science observations is a low-altitude, nearly circular, two-hour loop. Aerobraking will use hundreds of carefully calculated dips into the upper atmosphere, deep enough to slow the spacecraft by atmospheric drag, but not deep enough to overheat the orbiter, to gain the desired orbit.
"Aerobraking is like a high-wire act in open air," said Jim Graf, orbiter project manager at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. "Mars' atmosphere can swell rapidly, so we need to monitor it closely to keep the orbiter at an altitude that is effective and safe."
As the orbiter nears Mars March 10, ground controllers expect a signal shortly after 4:24 p.m. EST indicating the critical engine burn to place it into low orbit started. The burn will end during a suspenseful 30 minutes, with the orbiter behind Mars and out of radio contact.
The orbiter carries six instruments that will produce data for studying Mars from underground layers to the top of the atmosphere. They include the most powerful telescopic camera ever sent to another planet; it will reveal rocks the size of a small desk. An advanced mineral-mapper will be able to identify water-related deposits in areas as small as a baseball infield. Radar will probe for buried ice and water. A weather camera will monitor the entire planet daily. An infrared sounder will monitor atmospheric temperatures and the movement of water vapor.
"We're especially interested in water, whether it's ice, liquid or vapor," said Richard Zurek, Jet Propulsion Laboratory orbiter project scientist. "Learning more about where the water is today and where it was in the past will also guide future studies about whether Mars ever supported life."
The orbiter can transmit data to Earth at approximately 10 times the rate of any previous Mars mission. It will use a 10-foot diameter dish antenna and a transmitter powered by 102 square feet of solar cells. Scientists will analyze the information to gain a better understanding of changes in Martian atmosphere and the processes that formed and modified the planet's surface.
In addition to its own investigation of Mars, the orbiter will relay information from future missions working on the surface of the planet. During its planned five-year prime mission, it will support the Phoenix Mars Scout being built to land on icy soils near the northern polar ice cap in 2008, and the Mars Science Laboratory, an advanced rover under development for launch in 2009.

Interesting pics, Bohemia...thanks!
From Bohemia's Boom link;
""I'd like them to relook at what they may have; this is the second occurrence in less than a week of such magnitude," he said.
Higgins said residents of Solon and South Solon last Friday reported what sounded like a loud explosion, during which houses and mobile homes in the area shook: "That would indicate a tremor, he said." "
Maybe, they should look up instead of down. Eh?
"The burn will end during a suspenseful 30 minutes, with the orbiter behind Mars and out of radio contact. "
Let's hope this one doesn't "beam up" and disappear on this one. I bet ya most of the world doesn't even know about MRO. Ya think?
As I was trying to fall asleep the other night, tough to do when there is lots going on in da head, I was kinda focusing on something. Not sure if someone said this or what. But I was really going on about how everything is so inward focused. Meaning, "my life" and that's all I know is going on. There is never time for much else as just surviving eats up all our time. We are bombarded by distractions of just enough magnitude to un-nerve us and up the fear level. But still, gotta get to work home by 9.
We are always focused looking straight ahead. THat's probably good, wouldn't want to trip over something you know. :) In the goings on of our daily lives, looking left and right, don't want to get slammed by an errant taxi, who has time to look up? I've always wondered why everything is so "ground" centered. Folks can look at the sky and....it's just there. Yup, clouds (check), blue (yup) moving on (gotta call so and so)....
Since there is no attention drawn to the sky, besides what we see (trails etc) what is really going on above big blue? Is it deliberate that we don't always look up? If so, what is hiding up there? Someone said here, "I wonder what's really on those rockets....?" Could it be? Could there be w whole something going on up there? Covertly maybe? Just the thought of all that is really really astounding. Besides the HAARP stuff and trails and all that. Those SOHO pics of what look like armadas of ships. But why don' t we see them here regularly if there are that many? Maybe they are there and we just can't see them cause we don't look up. Who has the time anyway.
Thanks for the awesome input Bohemia!

eric, B_U and MW (yes! MW),
the idea of shipping the jewish out of israel, back to their european homelands is something i read of a year ago. most of them are of native european stock iirc.
Thanx Bo, for more good stuff !
So, where can I find story about Q-ship Atlantis and saucer rendezvous? I searched but only found war 2 sites.
Wayne,
After dining in The Con Cafe for these many moons, I just know there is more up there than we have heard about.
Reminds me, I heard nuthin....when I looked up at that circle of lights in the night sky, there was not a sound, which meant it was either ET, or secret tech, or really good mufflers on whatever was parked overhead that nite.
Combine that experience with the Con Cafe Buffet, and it's easy for me to figure that there is definitely more going on than we are led to believe.

Hello everyone. Wow, lots going on it would seem. First things first...
Ms T --- Alright Grandma!!! (At least I hope you are by now.) Waiting patiently for your next announcement. :) And sorry I keep missing your radar pics. By the time I check the blog or email, they're gone! Maybe this weekend...don't give up on me yet!
SK --- Don't ja just love Karma...never know what the next life might bring.
Wayne, loved your words. People are just too darn busy to notice anything but what they have to. I'm just as guilty and I know about the Chemtrails. I get busy and have to remind myself to check out what's going on in the skies. It's crazy. And it's the distractions...we're kept so busy just trying to keep our heads above water that we don't have time anymore to look up or really around for that matter. Anyway...loved your post...really made me think this evening.
Looks like everyone's been busy with the links so I have a lot of catching up to do. (Too much work and no play for me this week.) Here but reading...

I won't put words in anyone's mouth here but the battle is over a very small piece of real estate called the Dome of the Rock. If that isn't bizarre enough to destroy the earth than there is the talisman "spear of destiny" which is held in such high regard by the occult and is supposed to be the spear which pierced Jesus on the cross. More on "talismen" at the above website and titled "The Glad Game".

>"spear of destiny"
Also called the "lance of Longinus" !!!!!!
I'd never heard of that before until just recently.. in a dream no less..
check it out, too wierd.
This is a dream i had earlier this year..
01-02-06 4-5am (also previous, odd recurring/similar/familiar)
I am walking down a busy city sidewalk with tall distinguished (foreign?) fellow.
He is sophisticated, well dressed, 'feels' important, others get out of hs way..
He is wearing an expensive looking long grey wool/camelhair coat.
He is tall, greying, manicured beard that comes to a point.
I am specifically 'with' him, like learning or in training for something.
We pass some stairs, then a doorway. I drift toward the door, he says no,
we can, but not today, and we continue to next door which is inset, an open
area/dock like platform with large freight elevators. (strange, sense 'Sears')
There are compartments all around with boxes/stuff stacked up. There is a
lower level causeway that surrounds our platform. Others are walking there
working and passing by. He has a clipboard with listings/manifest that he is
looking at, checking things off. A blonde woman walks past on the left. She is
beautiful. In a white sterile looking jumpsuit. I have to move back a bit so she
can get passed us. She is completely oblivious to us/robotic-ish. My eyes follow
her a bit, she passes on my left and is then suddenly on the lower level walking
with some others..
I see a box on the left that catches my eye. A tall blue box with cellophane front.
There is a person/body inside the box but obscured by the glare of the cellophane
wrapper. Like a boxed toy/doll (nutcracker?) on display in a window/storefront.
He suddenly says 'Saddam's head and THE spear'?!? with surprise.
I say 'the spear of longerine?? (or longine? or something like that) rather excitedly.. ??
(don't know what that means.. but felt like I should know as I was not confused by it at all)
He motions me toward that blue nutcracker box. As I get closer to it I see it is two
separate boxes. The 'head' is in one, rest of body w/spear in other. I pull the box with the
head down and look at it. Yep. It is Saddam looking. I hand it to him.
~end.
Then Oh.. man. holy shit. after researching a bit, found this:
http://www.thequestforbibletreasures.com/Bible_Treasure_News/Spear/01Is_the_spear_that_pierced.htm
This spear is said to have pierced Jesus on the cross..
For a meagre six hours, the management of Vienna's Kunsthistorisches Museum allows the lance of Longinus to be removed from its case. On its short journey to the Institute of Sciences and Technologies in Art, in nearby Schillerplatz, it is accompanied by two armed guards and a curator, Dr Franz Kirchweger, whose level of anxiety could not have been higher if he'd been looking down the barrel of a Luger. There are good reasons for all this. In a rare concession to science, the museum is allowing an English metallurgist to conduct some x-ray tests and take some biological swabs.
phreaky stuff.

"dome of the rock"
Dome of the Rock, Jerusalem, Israel
Jerusalem, by virtue of the number and diversity of people who have held it sacred, may be considered the most holy city in the world. To the Jewish people it is Ir Ha-Kodesh (the Holy City), the Biblical Zion, the City of David, the site of Solomon's Temple, and the eternal capital of the Israelite nation. To Christians it is where the young Jesus impressed the sages at the Jewish Temple, where he spent the last days of his ministry, and where the Last Supper, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection took place. Also greatly venerated by the Muslims, it is where the prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. While highly charged with intense religious devotion and visited by countless pilgrims and sages, Jerusalem has also been ravaged by thirty centuries of warfare and strife. It is a place of beauty and divinity, mystery and paradox; a sacred site which no modern spiritual seeker should fail to experience...
I'm sending an article on this to those who I have addys for..
kinda tooo big to post and I dunt want the coveted PH award..

tons of very bizaar stuff with the skulls.. fwiw..
13 Crystal Skulls
According to the legend of the 'twisted hairs' - a tribe representing and made-up of the ancient American Indians from both North and South, there are in existence 'thirteen' crystal skulls. These skulls represented 'twelve' celestial inhabited planets, and were originally kept in a pyramid in a cirlce formation of great power. A 'thirteenth' larger crystal skull represented the collective consciousness of the twelve, and was placed in the centre of the circle. This circle formation of the twelve crystal skulls with one larger crystal skull in the centre, was known as the 'Ark'. Does the legend have any relationship to the speculation of there being twelve secret chambers with a thirteenth larger chamber in the center, buried somewhere near or under the great Sphinx?
These crystal skulls are however scattered, and will one day be reunited back into the Ark formation and trigger a planetary raising of consciousness. The native American Indians have a twelve plus one configuration as part of their history; for instance, the native indians of Central and South America speak of a mysterious leader with twelve followers that visited them. All that was different in these legends were the various names given by each of the Indian tribes to the thirteenth leader that led the twelve. Some called him Quetzacoatl, others called him Votan, others Kukulkan and yet others Viracocha. Yet all these individual legends from each of the individual native Indians tribes bear very close similarities to one another, as if the different versions and names originate back to the same source. It is the legend of the thirteen crystal skulls - especially the thirteenth, that closely resembles that of the twelve tribes of Israel and the thirteenth tribe of Levi.
The 'thirteen' crystal skulls legend is so similar to the history of Israel, that it is hard to see they are not related. Below is some points of similarites between the crystal skulls and the nation of Israel:
1. Israel is a nation that is based on 'thirteen' tribes, and seems itself to be a carbon copy of ancient Sumeria. There are 'thirteen' crystal skulls.
2. Joseph, one of the sons of Israel (Jacob), spoke cryptically of himself and his eleven brothers as representing 'twelve' celestial bodies. It is the tribe of Levi however that was substituted for the 'first born' of the twelve tribes to become a 'thirteenth' tribe, which was to be the mediators and contacts between the God/s, and the rest of the twelve tribes - they were God's possession, and went on to become the tribe that God would govern through. The 'Twisted Hairs' tribe of North and South America spoke of the 'twelve' crystal skulls as each representing 'twelve' planets. The thirteenth crystal skull represented the collective consciousness of the twelve.
3. Israel is no longer a twelve plus one tribal configuration, they are scatterred. But the prophets of the bible have written of the ten lost tribes of Israel's revelation and unification with the two tribes of Judah (Jewish State) from whom they have been separated for thousands of years. This will trigger a worldwide raising of consciousness. The thirteen crystal skulls are scattered, but will according to the prophecies, come together and raise the consciousness of the planet.
Are the 'Twisted Hairs' tribe, which are said to represent the North and South native American Indians, some of the lost tribes of Israel? The lost tribes of Israel would have taken with them the knowledge of their past when they were removed from the promised land, and the native Indians having a twelve plus one legend that seems to fit the twelve plus one tribal configuration of the thirteen tribes of Israel and ancient Sumeria is very striking indeed. So, which other peoples or nations of the Earth have a twelve plus one legend or myth amongst them, and which seems to be part of their historical social structure!
It's not only the Native American Indians who have a twelve plus one myth or legend that resembles that of ancient Israel and Sumeria - the British people do also in the form of King Arthur and the twelve knights of the 'round table'. It's very interesting that the twelve tribes of Israel when encamped in the desert, would form a circle around the tribe of Levi and the tabernacle, which housed the Ark of the Covenant. We see this formation of a circle of twelve surrounding a thirteenth in the legend of the crystal skulls, could this be the same for King Arthur and the twelve knights of the 'round' table? It is interesting that the table was round - tables are usually presented as long rectangular furniture, especially in the early periods of British and European history. King Arthur promised his twelve knights that he would return, Quetzacoatl promised his twelve assistants or followers that he would return, Jesus promised his twelve disciples that he would return - all were the thirteenth factor governing the twelve. Was the round table really a table, or is it the case that the British were Israelites remembering the origins of their twelve plus one tribal configuration? The Jewish state of Israel (house of Judah), long after the ten tribes (House of Israel) had been removed from Palestine, recorded the visit of a mysterious figure, who organised around himself 'twelve' disciples. It is the number 'thirteen' that is the most important factor in all the legends. The number thirteen always represented the governing body and priest-king factor. It represented a higher state of consciousness.
