The Ion-Powered Dawn

NASA's Dawn mission is set for launch on September 27, 2007 with a launch window of 7:20AM to 7:49AM EDT. You can watch the launch of Dawn's Delta II rocket on NASA TV.
The Dawn mission will launch an exploratory spacecraft to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter to investigate two vastly different 'protoplanets'...Ceres and Vesta. Ceres, named after the Roman goddess of agriculture,is the largest asteroid and the first to be discovered. Vesta, named after the Roman goddess of the hearth, is the only asteroid visible with the naked eye. The goal of Dawn's mission is to study these two asteroids and provide information that scientists will use to further our knowledge of conditions and processes relevant to the formation and evolution of the Solar System...but then that is NASA's standard line, right?
One of the 'firsts' achieved by the Dawn mission is the use of Ion Propulsion (and NO!...we are not propulsing FSHOD member Ion (Iontruo2) out of the spacecraft!). Ion Propulsion provides approximately ten times the acceleration of chemical rockets and, therefore, is more efficient. It will be used after the Delta II rocket has completed it's task to send Dawn on it's way to Vesta.
Here's a brief timeline of Dawn's mision:
Launch - Summer 2007
Mars gravity assist - March 2009
Vesta arrival - September 2011
Vesta departure - April 2012
Ceres arrival - February 2015
End of primary mission -July 2015
So this mission totals 8 years. Of course, I wonder what happens to Dawn after 2015?

In the previous blog, there was a brief discussion between Ion and I about synchonicity and the Seven Sisters label used in the naming of
"cave skylights" on a picture from Mars. Well, here's another connection, Ion.
According to Dr. Marc D. Rayman, approximately 2 hours afer Dawn's Launch, observers in either Alaska or Hawaii should be able to see Dawn draw a line through the Pleiades, M45...otherwise knows as The Seven Sisters. Go here for more information.

I know...it's NASA, the people who have paved the way in developing space-animation technology (rather than actually putting PEOPLE in space or telling us the truth, the whole truth and nothing BUT the truth!)...but it's an OK video.
Regardless, it would be stupid to do less than wish the best for the Dawn mission and Good Luck! to the teams of scientists and engineers and paper-pushers who are making this happen, their organizations represented here on the Mission Patch.

Sunking...not lame. Looks professional to me. What do you do for a living? hehe. Will have to check the links before I can form an ider of where you're going with this one.
I wonder if Data is wearing the patch?
For those interested I have created two ascii text files that should be viewed and/or printed in LANDSCAPE mode which lists ALL the Cydonia MGS MOC HiRes NA filter image files from the brginning to the end of the entire mission, the second file is just the same data only from the last dump from vol 1464 to the end of mission.

Nasa readies for asteroid mission
A Nasa spacecraft set for launch early next month will explore the two biggest asteroids in the Solar System.
Asteroids are believed to be the building blocks of planets - primordial relics left over from the formation of the Solar System 4.6 billion years ago.
The Dawn mission will launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida on 7 July, on a mission to study the asteroids Ceres and Vesta.
Dawn will reach Vesta in 2011 before going on to visit Ceres in 2015.

Israel asks U.S. foreign aid be paid in EUROS

Secretary of State Rice has acknowledged a communique from Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Levni which requests that all foreign aid payments and loans from the United States be made in Euros rather than in Dollars. Foreign Minister Levni cited the rapidly declining dollar and it's disfavor as a world currency as reasons for the request.
"In the spirit of Yom Kippur, the United States will not hold Israel to any agreements obligating them to accept Dollars as payment for their foreign aid. We will translate our obligations into Euros or whatever currency that best fits Israel's needs" Secretary RIce said in the Friday, Sept 21 announcement.
"We need to place our Israeli obligations at the top of our national priority list. Israel should not suffer any inconvenience due to currency fluctuations" said Rice before heading off to Camp David.

Again, I am the I/S Sr. Programmer/Analyst for HR/Payroll at a hospital. Simply put, I'ze da Payroll programmer. Everybody loves me...once every 2 weeks.
Any HTML I have was learned doing Drydock and FSHOD. I did that by basically looking at what others have done and, basically, copying it...e.g. how to embed movies on the main page. Plus many services, e.g. Google Video (from when the NASA movie came), have utilities that provide the HTML statement you need to make it work. Just takes some time and figuring it out...anyone can do it, I ain't nuthin' special.
What I meant by "lame" was that this was just merely 'reporting', sourced entirely from NASA's website. There was no disclosure involved, no lurid conspiracy theory...just make y'all aware of the mission and providing links surrounded by pics and a movie (to make it look techhie) so readers could easily find further information if they so desired.
I made some obligatory 'slam' remarks against NASA because...well the DO deserve it, eh? A definite like/hate relationship with NASA...They have done some good things, after all...but just not enough good things and a bunch of downright badt things. So I kinda felt like a...mmmmm.....sellout?...merely passing on NASA info...hence, the 'lame' thing.
Now, there ARE some interesting aspects to the mission and the location of the asteroids certainly is subject to scientific and esoteric examination. The Ion propulsion certainly is worthy of scrutiny and thought by the engineering types among us. There's the thought of the mission spanning the enigmatic 2012 timeframe. And what WILL happen to Dawn after 2015? Look at the Mars Rovers...certainly exceeding expectations there...could Dawn then go on to look at the Trojans near Jupiter? Will Dawn provide any insight to Sitchinian theory? etc, etc, etc. Anyway, Dawn may provide us with many stimulating discussions.
We'll see.
And it seems, Gort, that Dawn DID get launched, it is in orbit, solar panels deployed and the trip begun. And you were right, it was supposed to be launched earlier, in the summer. mmmm...Wonder if there was some esoteric or Masonic reason for the delay????

For "meangreen", its o.k. to loop back and revisit topics we have already tuned into previously, specially at a point of finally taking off. I had presented material previously about their interest in not only what became the mission to Tempel1 but the asteroid/former comet Paethon as well. Asteroids and comets seem to be their main focus in 'piecing together' the bigger picture. "History recalls how great the Fall can be" -Supertramp
Paethon if you recall is understood to be the source object that created the Perseids Meteor shower (really a storm).

Imagine, if you will (or can) a creative I. A point. Not a line, not a circle, just a simple point and a lonely point at that. That point is self creating and in that is the mystery but nonetheless there is space implied by the fact that there is a point. NASA would have you believe that the point had a "big bang" and the universe is born. I don't think so.
Back to Mission Control.. Is there any info on the cameras this unit is taking. It always seems to me that we get blurry miniscule pics of the important stuff and hence the not very well appreciated work that "they" do with their toys.

'Meteorite' Crash Breeds Mass Hysteria
On what started as a normal Saturday night one week ago, residents of a small, remote Peruvian town saw a bright light streak across the sky, heard a resounding bang and suddenly found themselves at the center of a media frenzy.
Initial suspicions of an airplane crash quickly spiraled into widespread reports that a meteorite had plummeted to Earth and left a smoking, boiling crater whose supposedly noxious fumes were reported to have sickened curious locals who went to peer at the hole.
Despite doubts expressed by geologists that the crater was actually caused by a meteorite and firm explanations that a meteorite would not even emit fumes and that the "sickness" was likely a case of mass hysteria, numerous onlookers far and wide were fascinated by the idea that this event could be some real-life "Andromeda Strain" (the 1969 novel by Michael Crichton), where a mysterious rock falling to Earth from outerspace made anyone who went near it ill.

C2C had a longish bit on the meteorite/spy satellite last night. There were reports of aluminum shiny bits in the sky and aluminum shiny bits sticking up from the mud. Nothing there now and no sightings of men in black.

The Navy has said the barracks, used by the Seabees, were constructed in the late 1960s and were not intended to resemble the Nazi symbol.
Casuto readily admits that it was likely an oversight when the complex was built, but says that doesn't make it right.

The swastika is an ancient Indian symbol of immutable good luck. “Swastika” is an Anglicization of the Sanskrit word svastika, which means well-being or good luck. Used by Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains for thousands of years, it became widespread in Tibet as well.
The swastika has also appeared in most other ancient cultures of the world. For example, the counterclockwise variant of it, adopted by the Nazis, is also the letter “G” in the medieval Northern European Runic Script. The Freemasons took the letter as an important symbol, since “G” could stand for God, the Great Architect of the Universe, or Geometry.
The swastika is also a traditional symbol of the Old Norse God of Thunder and Might (Scandinavian Thor, German Donner, Baltic Perkunas). Because of this association with the God of Thunder, the Latvians and Finnish both took the swastika as the insignia for their air forces when they gained independence after the First World War.
In the late nineteenth century, Guido von List adopted the swastika as an emblem for the Neo-Pagan movement in Germany. The Germans did not use the Sanskrit word swastika, however, but called it instead “Hakenkreutz,” meaning “hooked cross.” It would defeat and replace the cross, just as Neo-Paganism would defeat and replace Christianity.

This conclusion is highly unlikely, since Haushofer did not meet Hitler until 1923, whereas the Nazi flag first appeared in 1920. NASA's Dawn spacecraft launched Thursday on a 3.2-billion-mile journey to the asteroid belt, where scientists hope to find clues to the formation of the solar system.
The spacecraft, atop a Delta 2 rocket, took off from Cape Canaveral in Florida at 4:34 a.m. PDT. "We have our time machine up and flying," said UCLA space physics professor Christopher T. Russell, the lead scientist on the project.

Most NASA spacecraft have been express rockets to a single solar system moon or planet. By contrast, Dawn is a commuter tour bus.
Powered by slow-go ion engines that take four days to go from zero to 60 mph, the spacecraft will make two stops on an eight-year journey to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Once the craft is there, scientists plan to study some of the oldest objects in the solar system, lumps of stone that are thought to have changed very little in 4.5 billion years.
Dawn's first destination is Vesta, a lump of rock with a big hole at its south pole. After seven months of orbiting the 350-mile-wide rock, it will travel to the dwarf planet Ceres, which some scientists think could have more fresh water than Earth, locked up in an icy underground vault.
By observing them close up, scientists at JPL hope to better understand the process that allows some objects to become planets while others remain stunted as solar system flotsam.
Scientists used to think that the asteroid belt, which contains hundreds of thousands of small rocks and a few big ones, was the remains of a planet destroyed in an apocalyptic collision.
Now the prevailing theory is that Ceres and Vesta, which together contain about half the mass of the entire asteroid belt, are the biggest chunks of a proto-planet that failed to form because of interference from Jupiter's strong gravity.
"What we're seeing is arrested development," Russell said. "Jupiter got to them before they had the ability to form a planet."
This will not be the first mission to an asteroid. Deep Space 1 visited the asteroid Braille on July 28, 1999. But the $446-million Dawn mission will be the first time a spacecraft has the ability to go to two separate destinations.
"In science fiction you see ships all the time going from one place to another, but we haven't done that," Russell said.
What makes that possible now are the craft's three JPL- and Boeing-developed ion engines, which are powered electrically by the largest set of solar panels ever launched on a U.S. planetary spacecraft. Each is 27 feet long.
The thrusters use an electrical charge to accelerate ions from 937 pounds of xenon fuel, which should be enough to last the eight-year mission. Altogether, the engines will fire a total of more than 2,100 days.
A conventional rocket would quickly run out of fuel if it fired its engines that long. But the ion engines use only a tiny amount of fuel at any one time. Though this makes for pretty slow acceleration -- the amount of thrust is equal to the weight of a piece of paper resting on the palm of your hand -- over time the speed builds up enough that the craft is to reach its first target on Oct. 1, 2011.
It is to arrive at Ceres nearly four years later, in July 2015.
When the mission was first conceived 15 years ago, scientists were most interested in Vesta, which is thought to be the origin of nearly 20% of the meteorites that strike Earth.
It has a bizarre surface feature that they want a closer look at: a crater 285 miles across and 8 miles deep that was gouged by an ancient collision.
Vesta remains an object of curiosity. But the more scientists have learned about Ceres, the more fascinated they have become, Russell said. That's because the 600-mile-wide object may have a buried ocean, as well as a thick layer of ice.
Analysis by the Hubble Space Telescope and other instruments show that it is less dense than Earth's crust. Its vast stores of water have remained hidden by a layer of dirt.
"This is a very dusty part of the solar system," Russell said.
For decades, astronomers have lusted after a mission to Europa, the Jupiter moon covered in a thick layer of ice. Scientists have constructed a number of scenarios under which some rudimentary form of life might be able to get started under the ice.
Russell thinks Ceres is a more hospitable place for life to get a start. For one thing, Ceres is closer to the sun, and therefore warmer. Its dust covering could also serve as a kind of insulation against freezing surface temperatures.
Finally, it doesn't have to contend with the potentially life- killing effects of Jupiter's radiation belts.
"I am now thinking that Ceres gives us our biggest surprises," Russell said.

Read the blog as well-thanks Eric. Your own story, which I have not heard but perhaps in bits and pieces here, is also remarkable.
Ferrell makes very very good points regarding Greer's work and somewhat scratched an itch that had bugged me about Greer, in that his (Greer's) reasoning for not exposing ET stems from a case of "guessumtion" i.e. we, as a society, couldn't possibly psychologically cope with such technology/ideas. IMO, Ferrell is right- Where in history has that proven true in respect to other technology? People didn't hurl themselves out of windows or roit when they first heard a radio,spoke to Ma over the phone or saw images on television.(Ok, maybe they did, but not because they were afraid of the technology itself. LOL) An excellent point I had never seriously considered.

I went over to Ferrell's blog and found it quite interesting and left a comment. I don't think people are going to freak out over the existence of ET or their tech. I think people will freak out when they find out that humans have been sitting on technology that would turn this planet into a paradise instead of the mess it currently is. I read some about the GizaDeathStar and related books by Farrel the other day, when you first posted that, Eric, and I have to saw I have some reservations about his theories. You know me and my BS Detector. I can almost believe some theories about the Nazis and their technological advancements but one cannot also discount that the germans were pretty damn savvy technologically and scientifically, without any potential or alleged ET collaboration. They were pretty much the top of the game. The fascist corpocracy that the Nazis developed (and is now in control in the US, IMHO) was only able to infuse more money and government imprimateur to the process of scientific advancement, especially in those areas of weaponization.
So...when I read Farrell and others belabor these claims and thereby sell books, the meter is twitchin'. May have to read the books...dunno.

Well, may have to revice opinion about Farrell. I just read that AAG (hey! Remember those guys?) interview that Ion linked. Not bad. Perhaps I've misjudged, but in my statement above I admitted it was from a standpoint of ignorance of the subject matter. If anything, the interview makes me more receptive to reading the book. The stuff I read at Amazon did not inspire me thus.
This particular Comet (Encke), with the shortest period of any comet known, follows a highly elliptical path around the Sun as all other comets do ... only this one, the one for whom the official JPL Comet Website is named, has a period of 3.3 years ... Even more unbelievable: its perihelion distance (closest approach) to the Sun is 0.33 of the Earth's distance, or, ~ 33 million miles!
The implications of these additional Encke "33 coincidences," added to the already "impossible" string of "19.5" and "33s" associated with Flight 990 itself, are profound. Because, of course, Encke is supposed to be a "natural" object ... yet, whose very orbit now is somehow echoing the same, precise tetrahedral geometry of the Egyptian ritual itself!

Recently there was some discussion here about a topic called "The Fall". I don't think it was depicted properly. If one takes Genesis as allegory AND fact, then there has to be something MUCH more to the idea of "The Fall", or descending. That gives "ascension" more context.
Arthur Young's Cosmological Theory of Process addresses The Fall. According to him:
"In science we discover that the evolution of matter itself is a "fall". By fall we mean loss of freedom, increase of constraint. This occurs in steps: first the condensing of the original energy of the photon into mass to form a charged particle, then the joining of opposite charges to constitute a neutral atom, then atoms to form molecules, and finally the compaction of molecules into inert objects. In this declension the original freedom is lost: the free motion of one particle is canceled by the free motion of another, so that where billions of particles are compacted, there results an inert object, which, having no self motion, responds to exact laws.
It is these inert objects that are the basis for the so-called universal laws. It is these objects and only these objects that do not move unless pushed.
We must therefore interpret the generation of matter-of the universe itself-AS A FALL INTO DETERMINISM.
But this is not the end of the story. There are higher forms of organization. Not all molecules are compacted into inert objects. There are some which are ORGANIZED into living creatures: plants, animals, human beings. Can we read these higher forms as an ascent-a "return"- to freedom?"

AY's thoery is all about continually higher levels of organization. Molecules are at the 4th stage of a 7 stage process. Science does NOT deal with life. In its present from, it can't, and the question that you asked is at the very heart of limitation of science. Entropy is seen by science as the driving force in the Universe. Everything "dissipates", or as you said SK, turns to chaos. But life turns entropy on its head as molecules find a way to store energy instead of it dissipating. Life uses the stored energy, and correct timing to UTILIZE molecules, and correct timing to begin to assemble higher levels of organization, Plants, Animals and Man. The molecules are only important in the fact that they are the building blocks for the higher levels of organization.

He's wrong about the Hoffa thing re GW. Bridge was done 12 years before Hoffa disappeared (1975). Unless, they were actually building new or repairing anchorages or footings in 1975. Don't know how to check that, but my gut feeling is this, in the 1970's and the economic situation then I really don't think those kinds of big repairs were happening.

But you also need to know times and locations of the "impact events" to find some additional meaning in the alignments. Especially the Pentagon impact.

Was browsing a book at barns and nobles the other day. "Live from Cape Canaveral." First chapter about sputnik. Werner Van Braun had an inkling of what the Ruskies were up to. He had an earth satelite and a rocket and even had the rocket rolled out to the launch pad. He was going to launch it and then say it launched acidentally (sometimes easier to ask forgivenes than to ask permission). The base commander ordered the rocket rolled back to the hanger. Russia ended up launching first.

The apparent superbolide seen over Finland late Friday was many times brighter than these average meteors.
Finland's biggest astronomical association, Ursa, says that a light phenomenon seen over much of northern and eastern Finland on Friday night was a meteor -- the brightest seen in the country in more than 30 years.
The editor of the organization's journal, Marko Pekkola, says it was a superbolide, a fireball more than 100 times brighter than a full moon.
The fireball was apparently caused by a space rock striking the atmosphere over Northern Ostrobothnia and then exploding over Finland. Ursa says the rock may have weighed some 200 kilogrammes. However it was not clear on Saturday whether any meteorites fell to the ground.

Was it a meteor? Residents report loud boom

Residents in the region reported hearing a loud boom of at least a few seconds in duration early Wednesday afternoon that might be linked to a meteor sighting in the Twin Cities reported by WCCO.
“Oh man,” said Greg Devereaux who lives near Amiret in southern Lyon County and Naval Reservist. “To me it was like being on a (Navy) carrier...when they break the sound barrier with an F14. It sound like a sonic boom from an F14 maybe 300 yards away. That’s what it felt like. It shook the house and when I walked outside the ground was still shaking.”
Lyon County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mark Mather said deputies investigated but found no evidence of an explosion after Devereaux and two other people reported hearing a loud boom that was similar to an LP explosion. Mather said based on Devereaux’s report and that of James Darr of Redwood Falls and a third person from Lynd, deputies investigated near Amiret.
“We’ve obviously heard different stuff,” Mather said.
There were reports on WCCO radio and TV news report of a meteor sighting near Golden Valley that was traveling from the northeast to the southwest, Mather said.
“But we can’t confirm that’s what happened here,” Mather said.
“It was very loud,” said Carol Rose, who works at Midwest Supply in Tracy. “I thought something had hit the roof. Some people thought something had hit the side of the building.”
But like Devereaux, when employees left the building, they saw no smoke and no evidence of any damage.
“They couldn’t see anything,” Rose said.
Devereaux said he drove around his section and expected to see a damaged building, possibly from an LP explosion.

US ‘War Alert’ Issued To Russia, Western Allies

Russia’s Strategic Rocket Forces (a separate branch of Russia's Armed Forces) are reporting to the Kremlin today that Commander Col.-General Nikolai Solovtsov has received an ‘urgent’ communication from his American counterparts (as per the provisions of the START 1 Strategic Nuclear Arms Control Agreement signed between Russia and the US in 1991) notifying Russian Military Authorities that the United States will, essentially, go to ‘full war footing’ this weekend.
The reasons stated by the Americans for going on ‘war footing’, according to these reports, are twofold, with the first being their intention to begin transferring all of the their weapons grade plutonium to their Savannah River Site located in South Carolina, and, secondly, their intention to begin their largest ‘terror exercise’ in history by ‘simulating’ the explosion of nuclear armed ‘dirty bombs’ in American cities.
Of these two events we can read as confirmed by American sources:
As reported on October 3rd by the Associated Press News Service: "The nation is preparing for its biggest terrorism exercise ever next week when three fictional "dirty bombs" go off and cripple transportation arteries in two major U.S. cities and Guam, according to a document obtained by The Associated Press.
Yet even as this drill begins, details from the previous national exercise held in 2005 have yet to be publicly released - information that's supposed to help officials prepare for the next real attack."
As reported October 1st by the Institute for Southern Studies: “The U.S. Department of Energy plans to begin shipping plutonium to the Savannah River Site near Aiken, S.C. as early as Friday -- The shipments are so secret that not even the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency -- which usually works with agencies transporting nuclear material -- has been given any information about them, according to the paper.
The shipments are part of the government's effort to consolidate the nation's surplus supply of weapons-grade plutonium in South Carolina. The material will be coming from the Hanford Site in Washington, the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California. In all, the government plans to transport some 2,300 plutonium storage containers from Hanford and almost 700 from Lawrence Livermore and Los Alamos."
These reports detail that Russian Military Leaders are ‘shocked’ that the Americans would begin the transferring of their nuclear weapons grade plutonium stocks while simultaneously holding a massive terror exercise, especially in light of the events of September 11, 2001, and which show the confusion military exercises can have on response times while also being attacked:

Not just to the Americans, but also to the British has the ‘coincidence’ of a devastating terrorist attack occurred simultaneously with a ‘training exercise’:
"A fictional "scenario" of multiple bomb attacks on London's underground took place at exactly the same time as the bomb attack on July 7, 2005.
Peter Power, Managing Director of Visor Consultants, a private firm on contract to the London Metropolitan Police, described in a BBC interview how he had organized and conducted the anti-terror drill, on behalf of an unnamed business client.
The fictional scenario was based on simultaneous bombs going off at exactly the same time at the underground stations where the real attacks were occurring..."
Of the greatest concern, however, to Russian Military Authorities are that this notification has come from the Americans at a time when fears of war between them, the US, and Iran which grows even more strident with each passing day, and as we can read as reported by Britain’s Guardian Unlimited News Service and which says:
"It seems almost incredible after the catastrophe of the Iraq war, but the signs are growing that the Bush administration wants to do it all over again - this time to Iran. Just as in the runup to the invasion of Iraq, the Washington air is thick with unsubstantiated claims about weapons of mass destruction; demonisation of the country's president has reached bizarre proportions; intelligence leaks about links with al-Qaida and attacks on US and British targets are now routine; demands for war from the administration's neoconservative outriders are becoming increasingly strident; the pronouncements of George Bush and his vice-president, Dick Cheney, are turning ever more belligerent - and administration sources claim that the British government is privately ready to play ball."
We should also note that coinciding with these events there are a couple of intriguing esoteric ones occurring too.
The first one being the entrance into London of a giant replica from tomb of the ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun of the ancient jackal-headed Egyptian god of the dead Anubis; and the mummy of the boy pharaoh Tutankhamun being put on display back inside of his tomb in Egypt’s Luxor Valley of the Kings.
The importance of these events, and as we know, lie in Tutankhamun’s and ancient Egypt’s adherence to the Cult of Amen which has subsumed Western Christianity for over 1,500 years to the point we see today that they have all become worshipers of the sun (son) even to ending their prayers with the ancient Egyptian invocation to this ‘hidden’ god of the sun by saying “Amen”.
And, if the ancient Egyptian prophecies are true, the sending forth by Tutankhamun from his grave the god of the dead, Anubis, does indeed presage a World destined to become one of death and destruction on a scale not seen since the last age when our Earth was last overturned.

The Financial Plot Behind 9/11

On the sixth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon, an article appeared in a reputable French financial magazine, Les Echos [http://www.lesechos.fr/info/marches/4620847.htm]
Between August 26 to September 11, 2001, a group of speculators, identified by the American Securities and Exchange Commission as Israeli citizens, sold “short” a list of 38 stocks that could reasonably be expected to fall in value as a result of the pending attacks. These speculators operated out of the Toronto, Canada and Frankfurt, Germany, stock exchanges and their profits were specifically stated to be “in the millions of dollars.”
Investigators from numerous government agencies are part of a clandestine but official effort to resolve the market manipulations There has been a great deal of talk about insider trading of American stocks by certain Israeli groups both in Canada and Germany between August 26 and the Sept.11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
.On September. 6, 2001, the Thursday before the tragedy, 2,075 put options were made on United Airlines and on Sept. 10, the day before the attacks, 2,282 put options were recorded for American Airlines. Given the prices at the time, this yielded to speculators, at a bare minimum, between $2 million and $4 million in profit.
The question of pre-knowledge of the attacks and, most importantly , the issue of the highly sensitive question of the identities not only of the individuals involved but also where an open investigation might lead. This immediately became a subject of great official concern, both in Washington and Tel Aviv.
In the United States, a number of agencies were involved in this investigation: the FBI, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and DOJ –were early on forbidden to speak to the media about the allegations of insider trading. Suspicion of insider trading to profit from the September 11 attacks was not limited to U.S. regulators. Investigations were also initiated in Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Spain. At the urgent request of the United States, these inquiries were conducted under conditions of strict secrecy.
Lynne Howard, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), stated that information about who made the trades was available immediately. "We would have been aware of any unusual activity right away. It would have been triggered by any unusual volume. There is an automated system called 'blue sheeting,' or the CBOE Market Surveillance System, that everyone in the business knows about. It provides information on the trades - the name and even the Social Security number on an account - and these surveillance systems are set up specifically to look into insider trading. The system would look at the volume, and then a real person would take over and review it, going back in time and looking at other unusual activity."
Howard continued, "The system is so smart that even if there is a news event that triggers a market event it can go back in time, and even the parameters can be changed depending on what is being looked at. It's a very clever system and it is instantaneous. Even with the system, though, we have very experienced and savvy staff in our market-regulations area who are always looking for things that might be unusual. They're trained to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Even if it's offshore, it might take a little longer, but all offshore accounts have to go through U.S. member firms - members of the CBOE - and it is easily and quickly identifiable who made the trades. The member firm who made the trades has to have identifiable information about the client under the 'Know Your Customer' regulations (and we share all information with the Securities and Exchange Commission.)"
Given all of this, at a minimum the CBOE and government regulators who are conducting the secret investigations have known for some time who made the options puts on a total of 38 stocks that might reasonably be anticipated to have a sharp drop in value because of an attack similar to the 9/11 episode. The silence from the investigating camps could mean several things: Either terrorists are responsible for the puts on the listed stocks or others besides terrorists had foreknowledge of the attack and used this knowledge to reap a nice financial harvest from the tragedy.
Adam Hamilton of Zeal LLC, a North Dakota-based private consulting company that publishes research on markets worldwide, stated that "I heard that $22 million in profits was made on these put options..."
Federal investigators probing into these deals became very reluctant to even discuss their probings, let alone to release any information they might have disclosed. Bits and pieces appearing in the American media made it obvious that these trades existed and that it was expected to reveal the persons and groups involved. The feverish rise of rampant rumor following the attacks were seen by American authorities, in specific the top levels of the Bush administration, as leading to unwanted conclusions. Strong protests were made to the White House by Israeli diplomatic entities asking for a blackout on any Federal investigations because they would clearly lead to the exposure of not only Israeli business interests but to the involvement of the Israeli government itself. The study is certainly not the first on possible insider trading in connection to the attacks but it is disconcerting in comparison with the conclusions of the regulatory authorities. As of September 2001, the Securities Exchange Commission and its European counterparts were interested in the atypical stock exchange movements before the attacks.
In an official statement of July 2004, the official American regulatory agency stated that it examined more than 9,5 million transactions in the weeks preceding September 11, then delivered its conclusions to the National Commission on the terrorist attacks (911 commission).
According to this commission, unusual transactions certainly took place but each had a’ non-criminal explanation.’ The authorities evoke, for example, analyst’s investor advice to explain certain rises of volumes.
An identical and cooperative attitude on the part of the ex-COB now the AMF (French SEC), which stated in its annual report of 2002: "the elements obtained forbid to show any evidence that financial groups related to the instigators of the attacks could have used the Stock Exchange to realise operations"
Just a month after the attacks the SEC sent out a list of 38 stocks to various securities firms around the world requesting information. The list included stocks of American, United, Continental, Northwest, Southwest and US Airways airlines, as well as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, the American International Group, AIG, Cigna, CAN Financial, John Hancock, MetLife, General Motors, Raytheon, W.R. Grace, Lone Star Technologies, American Express, the Bank of New York, Bank One, Citigroup, Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns
Six years after the attacks of World Trade Center, it is the disconcerting conclusion of a recent study by Marc Chesney and Loriano Mancini, professors at the University of Zurich, that: “Atypical volumes, very rare on certain titles, lead to suspicions of insider trading. "
The authors, one a specialist in derivatives, the other a specialist in econometrics, worked on the options to sell, used to speculate on the fall, of 20 great American groups, in particular in aeronautics and finance.
Their analysis relates to the transactions carried out between the 6 and September 10, 2001 compared to the average volumes recorded over long period (ten years for the majority of the companies).
The two specialists, in addition, calculated the probability of several options of the same sector having significant volumes in a few days.
"We tried to see whether the movements recorded on certain titles little before the attacks were common. We show that, for certain companies like American Airlines, United Airlines, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Citigroup, Marsh & McLehnan, movements are scarce from a statistical point of view, a fortiori in comparison to the volumes observed for other values like Coke or Hewlett-Packard, explains Marc Chesney, a former professor with (the prestigious business school) HEC, author of "Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism" (published by Ellipses Editions).
“For example, 1.535 contracts of options to sell in the term October 2001, with 30 dollars, were exchanged on American Airlines on September 10, against a daily average of approximately 24 contracts over the three previous weeks "the fact that the market is bear at the time" does not explain enough these surprising volumes "
The authors also studied the profitability of the options to sell, and of purchase, for an investor having bought a product between the 6th and the 10th "For certain titles, the profits were enormous. For example, investors having acquired options to sell of Citigroup with a maturity at October 2001 could potentially have gained more than 15 million dollars "
The conjunction of the data between volumes and profitability, the two authors conclude "the probability that there were offences of initiates (insider trading) is strong for American Airlines, United Airlines, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Citigroup and JP Morgan.
Chronology of events prior to the 9/11 attacks:
September 6-7, 2001: 4,744 put options (a speculation that the stock will go down) are purchased on United Air Lines stock as opposed to only 396 call options (speculation that the stock will go up). This is a dramatic and abnormal increase in sales of put options. Many of the UAL puts are purchased through Deutschebank/AB Brown, a firm managed until 1998 by the current Executive Director of the CIA, A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard. [New York Times; Wall Street Journal]
September 10, 2001: 4,516 put options are purchased on American Airlines as compared to 748 call options. [New York Times; Wall Street Journal.]
September 6-11, 2001: No other airlines show any similar trading patterns to those experienced by UAL and American. The put option purchases on both airlines were 600% above normal. This at a time when Reuters (September 10) issues a business report stating "airline stocks may be poised to take off."
September 6-10, 2001: Highly abnormal levels of put options are purchased in Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, AXA Re (insurance) which owns 25% of American Airlines, and Munich Re. All of these companies are directly impacted by the September 11 attacks.
It has been documented that the CIA, the Israeli Mossad and many other intelligence agencies monitor stock trading in real time using highly advanced programs reported to be descended from Promis software. This is to alert national intelligence services of just such types of attacks. Promis was reported, as recently as June, 2001, to be in Osama bin Laden's possession and as a result of recent stories by FOX, both the FBI and the Justice Department have confirmed its use for U.S. intelligence gathering through at least this summer. This would confirm that the CIA had additional advance warning of imminent attacks. [Washington Times, June 15, 2001; “Fox News,” October 16, 2001]
Conclusion: It should be fairly obvious to most objective readers that the 9/11 attack came as no surprise to a number of groups and individuals who, while not directly involved in it, nevertheless took advantage of insider information to profit by it handsomely. And it should be equally evident that no one wanted to lose any profits they might make as a result of the attack and said nothing to anyone.That all this was shut down should not come as any kind of a surprise to Americans who have become painfully aware of the immense flood of deliberately misleading disinformation and suppression of unwanted and unwelcome news in the American media. She once reported a story about Quebec and said the Canadian military were massing on the border of Ontario/Quebec preparing for something to supress the rogue break away provonce.
It was a total crock story at the time. I live on that border and I knew military as well. That was compounded by a few other dubious stories of hers. Since then she has not credibility to me whatsoever.

A famous landmark clock in London goes silent for seven weeks. At the same time as the clock bell is ringing for the last time before repairs, across the ocean in the American desert southwest, a star is rising at midnight. What is this star and is there a connection?
The official story is that Big Ben is being silenced for major repairs and maintenance in preparation of the clock's 150th anniversary in 2009, and the London Summer Olympic games in 2012. One would think the timing of the shutting down and resuming of Big Ben is based on the requirements of the engineers and would have nothing to do with the position of stars. The name "Big Ben" strictly speaking applies to the clock's large bell, but in common usage also refers to the entire clock tower, which is a world famous landmark of London and is part of the buiding complex of the British Parliament. So, when the clock shuts down for major repairs it makes news around the world.
Is it possible that some influencial people behind the scenes have made arrangements to make the repairs at a certain time in order to coincide with certain star allignments? Are there secret, esoteric rituals or messages involved in the timing of these repairs?
Strangely, the same day that Big Ben starts up again, a large replica statue of an ancient Egyptian jackel-headed person, called "annubus" is tranported by barge up the River Thames past Big Ben. This event is reported in the British press as a "nod to King Tut" and an exhibition of the the boy king's belongings coming soon to London. What an amazing coincidince.
And there is recent news that King Tut's body will be returned from the Cairo museum to it's original tomb in Luxor to be displayed there in the Valley of the Kings.

I have tried to engage Bara in a discussion about the number of dimensions in their Hyperdimensional Physics model. Since they are "scientists" there should be NO problem detailing their theory and the number of dimensions in it, since their "model" is called Hyperdimensional Physics.
Bara replies to me on The Dark Mission that there are "up to 26 dimensions, based on the work of Coxeter."
I asked him "The work of Coxeter? What about the work of Hoagland?" I guess he didn't like that because it was not posted.
I had another motivation for asking the question to Bara. I wanted to see of he would give me a number and he did, sort of. But the reason I wanted a specific number, is because over the course of the last 13 years, Hogaland has given 2 different numbers, at 2 different times, to that question. In 1994 it was 7. In 1999, it was 8. Now it's up to 26.

Thanks for that URL. I was actually in the Wireless Site Development Business from 1992 until early this year. I was not in the operations end, but I have been to a number of operational sites. I have never experienced the health problems detailed in the article, but I have seen some "interesting" things. I am very familiar with the telecommunications act of 1996 and I'm very familiar with the contracts that the wireless carriers use to lease these sites. These base stations can also generate ELF's. I am cynical, so I think it is by DESIGN that these sites are cooking people.

Hey Gort.. The picture I'm getting is that Tut will be back in Egypt for a few weeks and then off to London for a year. I would be interested in the constellations in the vicinity of the Giza Plateau for Oct. 13 sunrise and sunset.

I posted a link above to an unknown parchment that had been "missfiled" in the Vatican secret archive (how secret is it?) that suggests the fate of the Templars lays on the shoulders of the French king and had nothing to do with the Vatican. A book is being published by the professor who found it on the 700 anniversary.
My take on the anniversary and this unearthed "bull" is that the Vatican is clearing the way for a closer relationship with secret societies like the Masons.
I have to admit that I'm in the dark on what the 700th anniversary means to Masons, the Vatican or the French. The fact is Templars weren't secret until Friday 13th, 1307. I have been reading Thoreaus's "Cape Cod" and he talks about the border of Canada and the U.S. being set by a gravestone at St. Croix, Mass. that had a Masonic inscription on it. The French of Acadia were several decades ahead of anyone else with a settlement in Nova Scotia. There descendents were rounded up by the English and deported to New Orleans. That would be your Cajuns. The date on the gravestone was 1606.

Well that part of the story as far is the cajuns are concerned. Many if not most of the French who settled here came at the bidding of the Spanish because native Spanish, hearing how deplorable the conditions were refused to go from living in magnificent villas and weath to living in the swamps and be poor. Can you blame them?
The French seeing an opputunity to get a foothold in the New World for themselves came looking to overthrow the Spanish by numbers.

UWF Finds Second Ship from Doomed De Luna Fleet
The University of West Florida made an exciting announcement, this morning.
Archaeologists have uncovered a piece of history in Pensacola Bay that has national significance.
Channel Three's Mollye Barrows has more.
This is the second ship found from Spanish Explorer Don Tristan De Luna's doomed fleet.
It's literally a sunken treasure, a treasure of information and a window into the past.
They're pulling a variety of the artifacts from the ship.
Pottery from ceramics that were used to store supplies, as well as tiny animal bones
It's find like this that keep history alive in Pensacola.
Just off the Pensacola Bay Bridge, divers uncovered a piece of history seen only by fish for nearly 450 years.
It went down in 1559, like most of De Luna's fleet, when a hurricane hit a month after the Spanish colonists arrived.
Most of their food was lost with the ships and the settlement didn't last.
UWF Archaeology students have been exploring the ship wreck all summer.
They found everything from lead sheeting which protected the ship's hull from worms to the tiny bones of animals.
Tiffany Goldhamer/UWF Graduate Student: "This is a rat skull. This would have been one of the passengers on the ship who bravely went down with it. This is either chicken or turkey, some more dinner contents...and I believe this is a turtle."
The UWF team found the site, originally known as target 17, last year using state grant money and a magnotometer.
But they didn't know it was part of De Luna's fleet until they had time to explore it.
Secretary of State, Kurt Browning, a diver himself, made the official announcement.
Kurt Browning/FL Secretary of State: "It gives me great pleasure to announce that terrestrial and marine archaeologists have concluded that Target 17 is yet another ship wreck of national significance. Indeed a sister ship of the Emanuel Point ship wreck which lies close by in Pensacola Bay."
The first ship was discovered in 1992 and it's excavation helped jump start UWF's maritime program.
University leaders say this latest find helps establish the entire archaeology department as one of the finest in the world.
These two Emanuel Point ships are the oldest found to date in the state of Florida and the second oldest in North America.
UWF students and staff are excited about this latest discovery, hidden beneath Pensacola Bay for nearly 450 years.

Palladium was last traded at $377/381 an ounce, up from $372.50/376.50 late in New York on Wednesday.

The euro gained for a third straight day against the dollar Thursday as markets worried the U.S. Federal Reserve would slash interest rates again to boost the economy..
Gold was also reaping benefits from rising oil that boosted its role as a hedge against oil-led inflation. U.S. crude surged more than 2 percent to finish at $83.08 a barrel, after a surprise decline in the U.S. inventories stirred concern about supplies in the United States ahead of winter.
On the supply front, South African gold output fell 4.9 percent in volume terms and overall minerals production fell 3.1 percent in August compared with the same month the previous year, official data showed.
The benchmark August 2008 gold contract on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange finished up 14 yen or 0.5 percent at the day's peak of 2,836 yen, the highest for any TOCOM gold benchmark since March 1985.
Silver also rose to $13.71/13.76 an ounce from its previous close of $13.53/13.58

Birthed by Katrina, a new isle grows

Alabama has a new island that's almost as long as Dauphin Island. But it's so new, no one is quite sure what to call it.
The new island used to be the undeveloped western portion of Dauphin Island. That changed in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina carved a big gash in the center of the 15-mile-long island, from the Gulf straight through to the Mississippi Sound.
That gash has grown in the two years since the hurricane, and is now a full-fledged pass between two islands, measuring almost exactly a mile across. Just after Katrina, the gap was only half that wide. In the center of the pass, the water is now about 9½ feet deep.
The new island is roughly 7 miles long, making it just slightly smaller than what's left of Dauphin Island, which is now about 8 miles long. And the new island appears to be growing as it moves away from Dauphin Island, with a sandy spit stretching farther and farther west.
Some local fishermen have taken to calling it "West Dauphin Island." Others are coming up with storm-related names like "Katrina Key." State officials don't know what to call the island and are unsure who should get to name it. The Alabama State Lands Division did not return phone calls over the past several weeks.
"A contest to decide the name would be a great idea," said George Koulianos, a Mobile doctor and Dauphin Island property owner. "All the local fourth-graders study Alabama history in school. Perhaps all the schools could be part of a 'Name the Island' contest."
There are waist-high dunes along the length of the new island, most of them crowned with thick dune vegetation. Extensive seagrass beds hug the Mississippi Sound shoreline, which also features several small salt ponds packed with baitfish.
Scientists initially believed that the gap was closing, as happened after a quarter-mile-wide breach formed in Dauphin Island during a 1948 hurricane.
Early information from the U.S. Geological Survey indicated that "the cut was shallowing up and filling in," said George Crozier, director of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. "But something has reversed that, and it doesn't appear to be happening anymore."
Scott Douglass, a coastal engineer with the University of South Alabama, said he believed the breach is so large and deep that the new island will likely be a permanent feature.
"I could see it closing up in 10 or 20 years, possibly, but more than likely, it will remain open. When these big breaches open up, they tend to stay open," Douglass said.
History supports Douglass' contention.
Publications from the Geological Survey of Alabama have used old charts to demonstrate that Dauphin Island has undergone numerous dramatic changes since the 1700s. In the earliest reliable maps, Dauphin Island was twice as long as it is now, encompassing the present Petit Bois Island on the Mississippi line.
The two islands broke apart in the 19th century, and shortly afterward earned separate names. The new "middle" island that formed after Katrina now seems to be sliding toward Petit Bois and away from Dauphin Island.
The eastern and western ends of the new island have moved toward the west at least several hundred yards in the past year, though the island will need to cross at least 3 miles of ocean before joining Petit Bois.
Petit Bois is part of the federal Gulf Islands National Seashore, as are Mississippi's other barrier islands: Cat, Horn and East and West Ship islands. The park also includes islands in Florida, but skips over Alabama entirely. The idea of making Alabama coastal areas part of the national seashore met strong resistance within the state when the park was created in the 1960s, according to news accounts of that time.
Crozier said it would be "fabulous" if the park could embrace the new island, as that section of Dauphin Island was uninhabited and largely untouched by development.
But most of the land on the new island is privately owned. Riley Boykin Smith, once head of the Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, is part of a group of people who inherited the land on Dauphin Island's west end.
Mobile County records show that Smith and the other heirs hold dozens of deeds for parcels of about 6 acres apiece on the uninhabited portion of the island. Many of those parcels are now buried in the mile-wide pass.
The section that is under water was targeted for development by Smith a few years ago, though nothing came of the proposal.
It is unclear how the break might affect property rights, especially if the new island continues moving away from the ownership plots outlined in county tax records.
Smith believes that the gap eventually will fill in, and he said that he and his fellow property owners still have claim to the island. Those owners have been paying taxes on their properties for years, and nearly all of them have leased out mineral rights for natural gas exploration since the 1980s, according to county records.

If you have a wireless router, you don't have to mess around with creating host/clients. All you need is to set your wireless computer to DHCP and have it negotiate an IP for it from the router. If you are using WEP/WAP encryption, which you should, you will need the key in order to be able to connect to it.
Now, if you do not have a wireless router, do you have a wireless card on your main computer? If that's the case, you will need to share your Internet connection and then select the wireless connection as the one that network users will use to connect through.
If you use the wizard, it will probably try and create a floppy disk that you can use to configure the other machines. If not, it will tell you what IP address to use on the other machines, usually it's something like 192.168.0.1.

The constellations are a little tricky, or subjective, because they vary in size and several wander all over the sky.
The particular star alignments or planet alignments are interesting, though, especially after reading chapter 5 of Dark Mission (more on that later).

Seems like there would be "diminishing returns" in (ex-)Nazis controlling the hidden NASA agenda, as those dudes must be getting up there in age. Unless they are training their progeny to carry on the aims and traditions of the "reich," it seems the agenda would wither on the vine.
However, looking at the administration of "W" and Cheney, the reich is safe and secure in at least a second generation. :(

I will post the entire content of what has taken place but to make the long story short, it sends the message that the Vatican and the Masons have kissed and made up. The alignment above sets the stage for Goro's statement

Vatican Prints Secrets of Knights Templar

VATICAN CITY (Oct. 12) - The Knights Templar, the medieval Christian
military order accused of heresy and sexual misconduct, will soon be
partly rehabilitated when the Vatican publishes trial documents it had
closely guarded for 700 years.
A reproduction of the minutes of trials against the Templars,
"'Processus Contra Templarios -- Papal Inquiry into the Trial of the
Templars"' is a massive work and much more than a book -- with a
$8,333 price tag.
"This is a milestone because it is the first time that these documents
are being released by the Vatican, which gives a stamp of authority to
the entire project," said Professor Barbara Frale, a medievalist at
the Vatican's Secret Archives.
"Nothing before this offered scholars original documents of the trials
of the Templars," she told Reuters in a telephone interview ahead of
the official presentation of the work on October 25.
The epic comes in a soft leather case that includes a large-format
book including scholarly commentary, reproductions of original
parchments in Latin, and -- to tantalize Templar buffs -- replicas of
the wax seals used by 14th-century Inquisitors.
Reuters was given an advance preview of the work, of which only 799
numbered copies have been made.
One parchment measuring about half a meter wide by some two meters
long is so detailed that it includes reproductions of stains and
imperfections seen on the originals.
Pope Benedict will be given the first set of the work, published by
the Vatican Secret Archives in collaboration with Italy's Scrinium
cultural foundation, which acted as curator and will have exclusive
world distribution rights.
The Templars, whose full name was "Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and
of the Temple of Solomon," were founded in 1119 by knights sworn to
protecting Christian pilgrims visiting the Holy Land after the
Crusaders captured Jerusalem in 1099.
They amassed enormous wealth and helped finance wars of some European
monarchs. Legends of their hidden treasures, secret rituals and power
have figured over the years in films and bestsellers such as "The Da
Vinci Code."
The Knights have also been portrayed as guardians of the legendary
Holy Grail, the cup used by Christ at the Last Supper before his
crucifixion.
The Vatican expects most copies of the work to be bought up by
specialized libraries at top universities and by leading medieval
scholars.
Burned at the Stake
The Templars went into decline after Muslims re-conquered the Holy
Land at the end of the 13th century and were accused of heresy by King
Philip IV of France, their foremost persecutor. Their alleged offences
included denying Christ and secretly worshipping idols.
The most titillating part of the documents is the so-called Chinon
Parchment, which contains phrases in which Pope Clement V absolves the
Templars of charges of heresy, which had been the backbone of King
Philip's attempts to eliminate them.
Templars were burned at the stake for heresy by King Philip's agents
after they made confessions that most historians believe were given
under duress.
The parchment, also known as the Chinon Chart, was "misplaced" in the
Vatican archives until 2001, when Frale stumbled across it.
"The parchment was catalogued incorrectly at some point in history. At
first I couldn't believe my eyes. I was incredulous," she said.
"This was the document that a lot of historians were looking for," the
37-year-old scholar said.
Philip was heavily indebted to the Templars, who had helped him
finance his wars, and getting rid of them was a convenient way of
cancelling his debts, some historians say.
Frale said Pope Clement was convinced that while the Templars had
committed some grave sins, they were not heretics.
Spitting on the Cross
Their initiation ceremony is believed to have included spitting on the
cross, but Frale said they justified this as a ritual of obedience in
preparation for possible capture by Muslims. They were also said to
have practiced sodomy.
"Simply put, the pope recognized that they were not heretics but
guilty of many other minor crimes -- such as abuses, violence and
sinful acts within the order," she said. "But that is not the same as
heresy."
Despite his conviction that the Templars were not guilty of heresy, in
1312 Pope Clement ordered the Templars disbanded for what Frale called
"the good of the Church" following his repeated clashes with the
French king.
Frale depicted the trials against the Templars between 1307 and 1312
as a battle of political wills between Clement and Philip, and said
the document means Clement's position has to be reappraised by
historians.
"This will allow anyone to see what is actually in documents like
these and deflate legends that are in vogue these days," she said.
Rosi Fontana, who has helped the Vatican coordinate the project, said:
"The most incredible thing is that 700 years have passed and people
are still fascinated by all of this."
"The precise reproduction of the parchments will allow scholars to
study them, touch them, admire them as if they were dealing with the
real thing," Fontana said.
"But even better, it means the originals will not deteriorate as fast
as they would if they were constantly being viewed," she said.

Here in NWFl we have been under extreme drought conditions. Well it struck me the other day that I haven't seen any chemtrails in a really really long time. Like all summer.We also haven't had any rain in a really really long time. Well Monday, I look up and lo and behold chem trails aplenty. Everywhere. A virtual tic tac toe in the sky...
Now it's been raining off and on since ...Tuesday.
You don't think thos chem trails would be "seeding" the skies OR directing the low to come this far south, do you?

The foreign office confirms that the UK is to submit a claim to extend its Antarctic territory.
Antarctica may be shrinking as global warming encroaches, but it seems everyone wants a slice of the ice - including Britain.
The foreign office has confirmed that the UK will submit a claim to the United Nations to extend its existing Antarctic territory by one million square kilometres.
The claim could spark disputes with Argentina and Chile.
This move, the foreign office says, is merely a matter of safegurding Britain's options for the future.
It's a 21st century land grab - or sea grab. The UN has set a May 2009 deadline for nations wanting to claim sovreign rights up to 350 miles offshore from their existing territory.
The UK is preparing to claim 386,000 square miles of seabed off the British Antarctic Territory. The suspicion is that this is not about administering penguins but about exploiting oil, gas and other minerals.
The new claim, based on the British Antarctic Territory, would allow mineral exploitation based on the outer limits of the continental shelf, including the seabed around South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
Britain's territorial claims on the other side of the world are controversial. Even the Antarctic terrirtory on which the new claim would be based is subject to competing claims from Chile and Argentina.
The foreign office says the new claim, based on the Antarctic territories, is in fact theoretical because the environmental protocol of the Antarctic treaty bans mineral exploitation in the region. This move, it says, is merely a matter of safeguarding Britain's options for the future.
But it does seem to risk another principle in the Antarctic treaty: that Antarctica shall not become the scene or object of international discord.

scarlet, I think you're onto something about the chemtrails and the appearance of rain. In the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, we have been under an extreme drought. No chemtrails until late last week, and then it was the classic tic tac toe pattern. Got rain twice this week and we're expecting severe thunderstorms, large wind gusts and possible tornadoes for this evening and tomorrow. It's going to hit 80 degrees today before the cold front moves in. 80 degrees in mid-October in Kentucky is not unheard of but exceedingly rare. Or it used to be. I think this is the third or fourth October in a row where summer didn't exactly end until about November.
Hope the tornadoes miss you and everyone is okay where you are.
BTW, the 1936 Berlin Summer Games were the first Olympics (in the modern era) to feature a torch run from Mt. Olympus to the Host city.
Also, I think I read somewhere awhile back that the Olympic Flag was designed by nazi graphic artist(s).

I'm OK, but I heard the tornado as it passed over the beach, i just didn't know that's what it was at the time. (I'm about 5 miles from the beach as the Crow flies-that about right SK?)
I was outside checking the ditch b/c we were flooding about as bad as when we had the 100 year rains back in 04 (?) and I kept hearing what sounded like a very very high pitched whistle. There was no signicant wind in my backyard at the time-thats when i heard the "train noise" but far off-i ran inside and hid in the bathroom.
I came out about 10 miniutes later-no wind damage, just heavy heavy rain. it was at that pont i put on the news. Nothing.
It was about 20 min later they came in saying downtown and the beach had been hit.(I think) CNN has been running the "city cam" that captured the tornado.
It's been a long morning.

I have seen weaker tropical storms hit here without this kind of rain and wind-really really strange day.
OK, if I can trust the WIKI, Germany did not observe daylight saving time in 1936.
They did observe DST in 1916-1918, did not from 1919-1939, then started using DST again in 1940.
Then they used, didn't use, etc after the war, and during the split of East and West G.

One entry says the fire dept recived notice at 21:15 (9:15 pm)
and another entry in the same article says the fire dept. received word at 10:00 pm and the fire was put out by 11:30 pm.

Hey. Been absent from FSHOD. Been a very busy 2 weeks, due to a big, high-profile project here at work that went 'live' on Tuesday. Nothing but headaches. Plus my father-in-law died last Monday (quite inconsiderate on his part, the absolutely worst week for him to do so, except for THIS week) so had to speed into P'cola on Thursday morning and speed back to Jax on Friday. The Sun, Mon and Tues worked 20 hour days! I am exhausted.
And on top of that, the network weenies here blocked me from the comments page...not sure if that will change when we drop your ghostly blog in or not. Sucks!!!

ericswan, some connections just scream to be made. Chemtrails-HAARP-rain. I hadn't seen any chemtrails for most of the summer and we go through a nasty drought. Chemtrails come back, romp'em, stomp'em thunderstorms show up. I got about three hours of sleep from all the times the weather radio went off.I wasn't going to shut the radio off since there had been reports of tornadoes on the ground west of me. I should look up the actual rainfall amount, but I'm sure we didn't get anything near the amount Scarlet did. I think the actual Wrath of Charlton Heston class storm was just a tad east of me but the wind was still bad enough to make me worry about what I was going to find the next morning. Turned out okay.

SSC..I can't but feel that this blog and many other reporters on the net tie in with the lack of chemtrails and the drought in Georgia. I think tptb were reluctant to be exposed to the many reports that we and others were making about their activities to steer hurricanes and the jetstream and tornadoes around at will.
It has been two years since Katrina and we were on top of it. There is also the aspect that chemtrails are used as the conduit to conduct the 10 herz mind control aspects of HAARP. Given the lame response to Planet Earth going down the tube, one has to consider mind control as one of aspects of HAARP that is presently being "tested".
I just spent about a half hur typing and distilling Hoagland and Bara's concise rules for the ritual alignment theory, and was about to send when my internet connection failed.
And I lost it all.
