The Universal Connectedness

Universal Consciousness
Since we are all influenced by resonant frequencies and we increasingly realise the electromagnetics of our universe (versus no EM, simplified), I believe we can mostly agree on the following statements:
1. There is a new level, a quickening, human affairs seemingly speeding up, a society out-of-balance.
2. The natural EM fields can be used to transmit energy (or signals) very efficiently.
3. This natural frequency is being contaminated, resulting in strange behaviour.
4. We are all somehow connected in this EM/resonance soup.
A Quickening?
We have heard this term used before. In my implication, I am referencing the apparent speeding up of time in our reference frame. I could get into all the quirky Einsteinian relativity and Einstein-Lorenz time dilation, BUT I do not want anyone asleep this early in the topic. :)
The Earth's rotational field is *slowing* by approximately 1.4 milliseconds per day per century with respect to the atomic clock time. There have been 23 leap seconds added between June 30, 1972 and January 2006. Along with the slowing of the Earth's rotation, the Earth's EM field is believed to be decreasing. This decrease is believed to be linked with memory and emotions. As some in the Comments from the previous Resonance blog stated, there is an increase in emotions and decrease in memory recall. The Military, the CIA, and even Russian research confirms these links.
The Schumann resonance is slowly increasing thus bringing a sense of time quickening. This "Earth heartbeat" effects every living organism. Every cell is trying to synch-up with the increasing frequency so as to stay in tune. This results in the anxiety, insomnia, psychosomatic afflictions, and tension, so widely reported.
The Changes
We, as living organisms, have the ability to adapt. The body will be modified because we are being changed at the cellular level. At this cellular level is our DNA. It is believed we only use 22 of the 64 codons in our DNA. These electromagnetic and frequency changes could activate more of our codons.
The effects could also include altered blood pressure, melatonin, increased cancer, reproductive, cardiac and neurological disease, and death. Many occupational studies have found that exposure to ELF fields between 16.7 Hz and 50/60 Hz significantly reduces serotonin/melatonin balance.
Advanced thinkers also suggest:
* Greater intuitive and healing abilities will emerge. (Some already expressed their intuition and ESP in the previous blog).
* Our intention will be of utmost importance.
The Choices
We have basically two choices: Be at harmony with nature or not.
The Hopi Indians believe that those in harmony will survive the coming changes. The Lakota Indians state that we should forego or at least set aside our technologies to be one with nature. Many aboriginal peoples declare our technology disconnects us from each other and nature. The pollution and interference it generates keeps us from tuning in to the natural resonances and heartbeat.
Why Now?
Many ancient civilisations, significantly more in-tune with their natural surroundings, left behind prophesies and/or predictions of this imminent natural
cycle. The Mayans, Hopi, Australian Aborigines are a few.
Conclusion
It appears we are soon heading towards something wonderful and very significant during this critical time for humanity. This is not something to fear but to
fully embrace and rise to the challenge within our hearts and souls. We have an
opportunity to raise the conscious vibration of humanity as a whole to a new high. There are no spiritual chosen ones picked by some elite -- it is completely up to us. We can be a chosen one by preparing ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The choice is fully our own -- if only we are willing to heal and forego that which resides within each of us, which prevents us from being in harmony and oneness with each other and the Universe.

An intriguing blog. It seems that the speeding up of time has happened particularly in the last ten years. Frankly, I'm sick of all the doom even as so much of our planet's activities seem to be ramping up for it. Or at least the planet's activities where humans are intimately involved in screwing everything up.
I'll add that the graphic used is rather hypnotic. Very cool.

I've been reading a book called: The Singularity is Near, by Ray Kurzweil. Subtitled: "when humans transcend biology."
He talks about paradigm shifts that occur at an exponential rate.
At first things seem to change at a linear rate. Then all of a sudden the changes occur much more frequently. Most of us continue to think of the change as a linear rate, so when the rate of change speeds up it gives the sensation that time is quickening, I think.
Example: the doubling of computer processing speed or the doubling of
number of transistors on a chip. The amount of time to double either of the above keeps getting shorter.
A recent guest on C2C said the increase in the Schumann frequency
is causing us to have to do 24 hours worth of living in 16 hours.

Thanks Bo for this third piece. Yes, the quickening has taken hold of most of us. Hasn't everyone at one point said...there just arent enough hours in the day?
I blame society and big business as well. We expect to have all acess to anything 24 hours a day and are frustrated to find at 3am when the baby need diapers that there is no 7/11 open or a Wal Mart around. We are horribly spoiled by this. The internet is no help either because we have access to the whole world 24/ 7. There are no time zones in cyber space. It is part of our daily lives now and we take it for granted that things, in this uber-convenient world will always just be...
In my experience, part of this quickening, is this looming sense that ALL of this is entirely too fleeting, much less one own and pitifully small life span.
One of the things that I have particularly noticed is how physically and mentally tired I have become. There is a lot about me that really belongs to the late 19th Century and I do not like the pace of modern life.
A friend of mine once told me she thought that the speed of Time changed sometime around 1994. I'm inclined to agree within a year or two at least. The Internet was certainly starting to get legs by 1996 and as ScarletM said has really turned this into a 24/7 world.
I'm especially appalled at how the accelerated times we live in have damaged personal relationships. Unless a person makes a strong effort to create their own personal sanctuary, there is no relief from the pace, the relentless activities of big business, the insane idea that we are all to be more "productive" by cramming as much ridiculous and ultimately empty activities into every single day we draw a breath.
When the big shift comes, I hope it is a positive one and that I am somehow spiritually intact enough to make the transition.

Haven't been seeing those oily trails either Gort and I've
been looking up a lot over 3 U.S. states and while flying
through many others. Nothing, no fanning trails, although
I did see a few trails last from 5 to 20 minutes, there haven't
been the trails that fan out and make for the suddenly
commonly seen sun halos and sun dogs.
Suddenly sun dogs and sun halos have reverted to the rare
events that they typically have been (at least above me)
To those who think that supersaturation conditions fully
explain 'chemtrails' and that they are just contrails, nothing
more, keep looking up.
Why the sudden stop though?
Wondering if any of the other sky watchers are seeing lots
of trails, ericswan? Wayne? T? ?

I really don't know if their incredibly hectic and busy
schedules is their way of 'dealing' with the changes, I

Thanks for a quick and thoughtful response to my email. I think that Jews are particularily targeted by satan because David slew Goliath and that battle and revenge is all that satan can "spew". My understanding through you and God is that the Bible is His contract with man. He has a chosen people and they will be first among the elect of 144,000. God speaks to me through the bible. I have never woke up in my bed with a revelation. I hope and pray that faith will bring that relationship where God speaks to me but for the meantime, I leave that work to those of us that He does speak to. satan knows his future and to a certain extent, he can empower others to know future events. The point to make it as clear as I am able, is to say that you may know the will and the mind of God but you are not privy to the mind of satan. I think you accurately point out satan's work but if you are identifying yourself as the Son of God, should you not be able to say "who" is satan? I would be interested in hearing a testimony from the "two witnesses". I believe you and I believe in your message. Phew! Hello Bohemia, Sunking, Jas, John, Crypt0, Bryansail, Scarletm, and everyone else....:-)
I can't describe what an effect you and Jas and all the discussions we've had has had on me.
The "stuff" I was given as a kid has had a more profound effect on me than I was willing to admit.
But a recent trip to Cornwall seems to have set me (more?) on the right road.
It was a bloody exorcism I can tell e .... I ended up in the Church (unusual for me) with people
saying prayers for me and me in tears.
I found a local Christian organisation for disabled people (of which I am...I basically get arthritic
symptoms given to me by this 'stuff') who also gave me LOTS of help !
I am not Baptised....I basically regard myself as a Taoist...I actually said to this organisation that
I was 'religously confused' (Ha ! Ha!). But they, of course, help non-christians and did not live up to
some of the cyniscisms that seem to inhabit my head about organised religion.
Suffice to say....I am back....I have powder burns...and came very close to death a few times. Arrrrr!

I've been picking up those 'predictions' since childhood.
The 'stuff' as was given circa 1976 was born directly from a dying Paradigm that
reaches it's peak and then begins to end RIGHT on those rising energies.
Now if I can just find that surfboard of mine with the disabled symbol on then
maybe I can begin to surf this baby :-)
I've talked to a few people about these 'rising hyperdimensianl energies'.
It seems to be those 'in extremis' that need to know the most. When you're dealing
with some other problem all you need is some nagging worry when, when one knows
about these energies 'something seems to make sense'...and then you forget it
and carry on...mmmmmmmm.

I think Boh's latest post sums itall up rather well. Things are changing and there are only so many alternatives we, the people have.
Since so much has been taken from us, we have no other choice it seems than to work on ourselves. The individual still counts and it is each persons responsibility to be responsible for him or herself. By being responsible for oneself, you are being helpful to those who are responsible for themselves.
WhatBoh is suggesting is not an easy task. There are many trials that will have to be overcome. Keep resistance low, and ride the wave.

Re: the Quickening,
I tend to agree, but then have to ask "How much of this perceived 'quickening' is due to the fact that we're all older now. When we were 10, summer seemed to last a lifetime, some days seemed like a week. The year seemed like an eternity...but then that year represented a full tenth of our existence!
Now, that year has been reduced to a fifteyth! of my existence on this plane...and it sure is flying by.
So, how much of the quickening is my personal perception? How much is the collective perception of this group of aging seekers? How much is it the effect of this Yuga?
Rhetorical questions...but feel free to enlighten me.

Hey Sunking..missed you over the weekend.. I'm still urging conenzyme Q10. A young lady with similar surgery on her big toe ended up loosing her leg in the last couple of days.
As far as background on Michael Travesser aka the Messiah...I received an email from the BBC requesting some information or whereabouts on him last month. I wrote Michael and told him that a reporter wanted to contact him (hmmm...similar to the letter I posted here in the blog to 371 concerning a reporter who wanted to talk to him about HAARP). Michael responded by sending me a link to a website that can be accessed at my blog.
Michael wasn't saying anything about being the Messiah when I first found his website called the fourwinds.com. This site was my first exposure to "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" which was the search term I used to find him. My fuzzy brain has always associated "the quickening" with the end times and the coming of the Messiah. It seemed appropos that this blog subject would come up just a couple of days after I had posted Michael's "quickening at my blog; hence my reasoning for posting that confusing middle of the conversation here. My bad. Yes, I do know Satan's mind. The Father has shown it to me. He is as exposed as a naked chicken. The world does not know themselves, but I know them. I know my Father's Mind also, for it is my mind. I receive clear instructions.
My words on Shillum are accurate and true. I am not guessing about what I say, but the world does not know their enemy, so the world will see me as a nut, extremist, anti-Semitic cult leader. The world has been made to believe a lie, and now it moves forward into its destruction with all of its force.
When you said that you do not get revelations, but read words instead, I understood. A child of God will not know the will of God without revelations. It is impossible. This is why there are so many denominations and opposing views. There are many ways to take words on a page. Who can interpret without a revelation? Jesus did not even do that. The Holy Spirit is indispensable, and without that Spirit there is no hope for a soul, because he only has his own little mind to try and understand things. This is a lost cause.
I say what I say not because of the Bible. The Bible bears witness to what God has told me. The Bible supports what I have said. My Father is my guide, and the Bible puts my Father's words to me in print. I would be hopelessly lost with only a book of words. The Bible would be a dead letter without the power and Spirit of my Father.

We all have an "option" or choice to make when it comes to opening the "third eye" or astral travel or communicating with forces unseen. Jas was doing that on his blog when he "prophesied" the event that took place on the date he specified on his blog and in his home town of Hemel Hempstead. I recognized it and said so immediately. Blavatsky, Tuesday Lobsang Rampa, Aleister Crowley, Nostradamus and many many more have traversed into the cosmic consciousness and come back with revelations. I choose not to. The ether (not aether) will always be there but you and your participation in this dimension will not. I will do my "work" in this plane and leave the work of the Holy Spirit to Him.

Not only do I think the neo-cons and their ilk actively desire WWIII, I think on a small level it has already begun with help from the media. The media of course always looking for the next ratings boost, loves to hop on board the war wagon. As I said in the previous blog, the fundamentalist Christian fruitloops are impatient for end times and want to accelerate the apocalypse so they can all get to their twisted idea of heaven and send the rest of us to their equally twisted notions of hell.
It isn't just another world war, look at the attitude about the environment, global warming. Who cares about the planet, we're all going to heaven anyway! Let the sinners rot on what's left of Earth!
In regard to Sunking's question and V's comment,I always thought that the Spanish Civil War was just the warmup for WW II so Hitler could see how well his new war toys worked in someone else's backyard before launching his own carnage.

Notice that those "tuning forks" occur just before MIMIC goes into extrapolation mode. Hence the fading colours. I believe those forks represent something real, and not computer glitches. They actually leave a "trail" after doing their work.
There's no reason to believe that HAARP or equivalent technologies not are involved in weather manipulation, if its possible to do so. Let's consider Boh's first article in the 'Resonance' series.
History shows that Technology almost always weaponises first, and later come the 'scientific breakthroughs' like MRI, nuclear medicine, etc. We benefit from these 'spin-offs' of weaponisation.
Should we 'demonise' HAARP? There's already the screwing-up of the ionosphere and recent 'flash-over' backlash from the ionosphere. Just goes to show that the scientists have plenty to learn about their toys.
Perhaps what we've seen (the tuning forks) from Katerina and storms before, are just baby-steps (or screw-ups)by folks at HAARP trying to kill the storms before they hit inland?
If the ultimate goal is to protect the American people (and perhaps the rest of the world) from future monster-class hurricanes, we'd need to look at HAARP from a different perspective.

The album Who's Next resulted from a much larger and ambitious project called Lifehouse. This was undertaken immediately after Tommy and was to involve concerts, a film, a double album and eswentially become a real event, in 'happening' rock'. The plan was that the band would take over the stage of the Young Vic theatre and, with a regular audience (well, 'regular' in 1971! =~) develop new material onstage and allow the audience to influence the songs and performance...and when it all came together would be filmed and merge into the storyline of Lifehouse.

Thanks for the tuning fork links, my library of radar anomalies keeps growing.
My question has been for a long time now; how often do these tuning forks appear ?
Can they be found when there are no tropical storms? I'm still remembering the
disclaimer by the U of W website, stating that the forks were just a computer glitch
and I'm still very skeptical of their statement that went up after the hurricane
forks appeared.
Also thanks for the CT info. Look for sundogs and sun halos as they are related
to trailing-I'm watching the prisms and trying to determine if they're related
to contrails, chemtrails or both. So far it's looking like they are seen during
both Chems and contrails. Lately haven't been seeing the sun dogs and halos and

Gary Magratten, whose circuit I've been working on replicating is now aligned
with a company. He has improved the circuit from the open source schematics that
I've been using but is limiting info. on his newer circuits. These are true over
unity energy sources (per Gary) In his earlier circuit, modeled after Edwin Gray's work
and Tesla's work, he was adament that he was putting the information out there
for anyone. Now that has changed and he is requesting to not be pestered for
details. My concern is that his new development co. is the end of the road. For Gary
and his new company it may mean a hefty paycheck to shut up and just go away, but
the open source work that Gary had sworn by seems to have vaporized. Many of
the links posted at some websites dealing with the 'radiant event' are dead.
His new company is already a couple of years behind their scheduled unveiling.
As I've stated before intent is critical in new energy. I am becoming more
and more convinced that altruism is central to pushing this stuff forward
but when the money man shows up at my front door, will I really be any

ways that WE or others can track their signals or activity?
I'm not too hopeful that we can count on that kind of
information being served up on a silver platter. I know
a skeptic who assumes that any tinkering done by HAARP

The Calgary plaque story came from an annual publication called Report of the Royal Society which is archived in Ottawa and in the hands of very few aristocrats. The main benefactor for this magnanimous gesture was a gentleman on the Library board; a real book enthusiast who picked through the best of the best. His name was Jim Volmershosen (sp) who just happened to be the Parks Canada Superintendent. He cleaned up and left town. Friends of mine were at the yard sale and picked up anything that wasn't done on gold and leather bound editions. I was late to that party. I had been elected to what could be described as "town council" in Banff 1984-85 but at the time, we were considered a Federal jurisdiction and Park Superintendent was top dog.

This wholesale discarding of library books goes on a lot more often than people realise. It isn't just non-fiction that gets tossed but also novels that communicated their own truths in certain eras. Libraries on a daily basis discard what people who lived in the time of historical events thought of the events they eyewitnessed. Very lame reasons are given for such discards. Where I work, the insane library director who has caused massive amounts of disarray and chaos, not to mention a 100 percent turnover of senior admin staff now wants to start getting rid of all the periodicals in paper if there is an electronic equivalent. I have been fighting this for three years now. If the director had her way, the collection would have been completely gutted by now despite the fact that it is one of the most popular areas of the library.
Paper is being replaced with electronic. Try doing some research on the paranormal in a database like Infotrac and see how little you find. And what you do find will all be biased against the paranormal. When it comes time for the TPTB to decide we should not see something, with a click of a mouse huge amounts of information just disappears forever.
V..I would appreciate hearing more on your choice of pyramid and pendulum. Something niggling at my sub-consious happens when I hear that title.

But if you want an example of political correctness gone wrong, the first new branch our insane director opened was a Spanish language only branch. Everyone who worked there was required to be bi-lingual. This branch was located in an older neighbourhood that while it had a large Hispanic population had an even larger population of people who were not Hispanic who had lived there for forty or fifty years. These people were shut out until they protested that there was no English language materials in the library branch. Grudgingly, wacko director got some English language material. It was apparent that this branch had no intention of serving its entire community.
I can't wait to retire from the library which is about seven years from now and go full time as an artist. Libraries will be almost unrecognisible. Public libraries in particular. It seems like they want to commit some kind of institutional suicide.

Earlier, when I was over on Mike Bara's site, I saw an old article he wrote for TEM and took a look at it. I've been thinking for a month or so about going back the to work of 'The Mastah' (i.e. RCH) and seeing what the status of his theories are now, in 2006.
But this article the MB wrote for RCH has some interesting references to 'resonance crisis points' in relation the the cycle of precession. And since we've been discussing the 'effects' and 'quickening', I had to wonder if there was some correlation with precession and what we are experiencing.
So, this might be worthy of revisiting by those among you who find this an interesting topic. Boh, maybe you can lend forth scientifically?

Sunking, I believe you asked me who told me that Newt would be a great President. The answer is that no one did. Based on my observations of Newt on Hannity & Colmes, and hearing him on the Sean Hannity show, I've come to the conclusion that he'd be a great President. As for his comments about this being WWIII; it seems that a lot of people have this idea that WWIII will last 30 minutes. I think that's an outdated idea. Why must WWIII be a nuke war? I've given a lot of thought to the idea that WWIII could be an all-conventional-weapon war. In the 60+ years since we split the atom, only 2 nukes have actually been used during a war. The idea of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) is one of the main reasons that ONLY 2 nukes have ever been used in a war. Whether or not WWIII will END in a mushroom cloud, I don't know. What I DO know is there's almost no reason it has to START with a mushroom cloud (I say "almost", because the 9/11 terrorists could have used a suitcase nuke)...
Btw, Sean Hannity is now calling this WWIII...

I'm going through all that stuff, especially the insomnia right now. I've taken some time off from normal responsibilities to recharge and get some perspective.
I'm part Ojibway and have read some of the prophesies of the Hopi, Lakota and Ojibway (also know as Anishinabeg). All of them talk about moving away from the technological part of life and moving toward the natural. I have been trying to do that more and more. Also trying to simplify my life, and living with less 'stuff'.
As far as time seeming to speed up, I think some of that may be natural, but some of it is self induced. I used to be driven to work 12 or 14 hours a day to 'accomplish something'. I find now that I have slowed down, more gets done and I have more peace.
So I'm trying to be conscious of what is going on and open to the next thing to do, or not, if that's what's appropriate.

As a Christian I hesitate to put in my 2 cents. I hate it when people try to tell me about RELIGION.
I've been reading the Bible everyday for over 20 years. That's 20 times cover to cover. (and no I don't have it memorized by chapter and verse) What I've learned is this. It's not about RELIGION. It's about a relationship with the Creator, and other human beings based on love. Period. Read carefully and you will find that you cannot please God without treating others with justice, mercy, and love.
If you think killing and destruction is what God wants I'd suggest sitting down and reading it again.
Jesus said you will know them by thier fruits. In other words watch what they do not what they say. Those that say they know God may just be giving lip service.
The other people on this blog are giving you the straight dope. Nobody as far as I can see is trying to disuade you from your belief in God or Christ, just your skewed view of it.

Get a Grundig hand-crankable shortwave-AM-FM radio (good for emergencies) and listen to radio from around the world...Kol Israel, Duetsche Welle, BBC, India, Russia, etc. Get your news and info from as many sources as possible, then go from there. The sad fact is that since most media is owned by only 3 or so corporate entities (many with direct ties to the military/industrial complex, e.g. GE owns NBC), the info you get from TV, radio, newspapers and the internet is all controlled from the same den of thieves.
Don't fall into the trap of believing what Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, Gallagher, Bennet, and Faux News tell you, that the only source of news you need is them (and Hannity says that about twice an hour)...they have a vested interest since the more listeners they have the more they can charge for advertising and the more money they make. They are NOT trying to save your soul and freedom...they are all trying to make a buck AND keep their political party in power. Don't trust them.

I am shocked at the distinct lack of reporting about the election fraud claims. Via Google and looking at the news in the Atlanta Journal & Constitution (a bastion of socialist liberalism, according to Limbaugh), there is nary a word.
One of the few headlines even went so far as to say "GA Congresswoman involed in Capitol Hill scuffle now in fight for reelection!"

I base my understanding and comments here on the present blog subject on the precis posted at my blog...http://hakkors.blogspot.com/ with the following examples or analogies to make my point. Wormholes and blackholes and much like belly buttons or the action we see when we flush a toilet. A recent study (this week) exposed mice to magnetic fields throughout their entire life and discovered that when these mice were removed from the field, those mice exposed to the "north" magnetic would wind themselves as many as 30 times in a clockwise direction. Those exposed to the "south" wound themselves in a counter-clockwise direction before they lay down.
Toilets do that depending on whether you flush in the north or south hemisphere. (This may be just a popular myth but it does have universal appeal). hehe
Belly of the beast or the winding up of an age in Precession may be indicative of an inny or an outy. The winding up is what some call a "gyre". The closer to the end of the age, the tighter and quicker the winding. If you are too tightly wound, (Crypt0 this is humour here) you feel nausea and find yourself extruded into dimensional limbo or what some call purgatory. That should clear it up for you.

The US Navy (USN) has instituted a five-year timeline to crack a historically elusive breakthrough in the field of weapons technology - a tactically useful electromagnetic (EM) rail gun.
The potential of electromagnetic power to shatter the speed and range limits of traditional artillery fired by exploding gas has captivated naval and land warfare visionaries for nearly a century, but the promise has always outpaced a number of stubborn technical obstacles.
The development of conductive metals - for the rails, propelling armature and containment bore - strong enough to survive multiple firings is just one of the basic challenges. Controlling the projectile is another concern. The ballistic flightpath of the rail gun's 'bullet' would propel it into space, making re-entry into Earth's atmosphere a survivability issue. The round would be launched from the gun at a speed of M7.5 and speed at impact on a target 200 n miles away would be about M 5.0. Such speed and range are why some think of EM guns as ushering the next true revolution in weapon technology, with the capability to fire directly on enemy surface ships found within the horizon in six seconds and to fire indirectly on fixed and relocated targets up to 200 n miles away within six minutes.

So, such 'openness' seems to contradict the 'deniability factor' mentioned above...doesn't look like they're trying to keep it secret.

I too have trimmed my C2C listening, though once in a great while there is something so interesting I have to listen. A friend of mine who knew I was awake half the nite listening to the radio gave me one of those white noise machines that play sounds of the ocean, or rain etc. Wow, now I pass out it seems in minutes and sleep very well for a change. Even better than listening to classical which was my alternative to talk.

How about shutting off the radio/ TV and reading a newspaper or a book. Even researching subjects online is preferable to the brainwashing on TV. Have you not figured out that it is just a 24/7 marketing tool? You can't even watch a movie without watching commercials for the same amount or more of the time. At the very least you could listen to the BBC. Atleast you'd get another perspective. We are not the darlings of the world the neo-cons try to tell you we are. To the contrary, we are despised by many, not for our people, but our gov't. You are the prime target of the neo-cons and others. They want to brainwash the young into thier beliefs. Do yourself a favor and start thinking for yourself. God gave you intellect to figure things out for yourself. He also gave you a free-will for the same reason.
I'm sorry if this sounds like a verbal beating, but I have a daughter who used to come home from school with the liberal nonsense she was being fed. I pointed out what I thought was wrong or right, but encouraged her to find out for herself. She has and continues to do that. Interesting weather. Lots of spraying last night at dusk. Right up high in the upper cloud deck. They are out on the west side of the TS coming up the coast. The cold front sliding off the coast should have picked that up and swept it off to the Canadian Maritimes pretty quickly. I'd be interested to know if the Bermuda High that sets up off the East Coast is located in such a way that it is blocking systems from moving offshore. The High coming in from the west is up over Canada and moving straight east which suggests that something east of here is blocking the movement. The TS is forecast to move about 50 or 60 miles east of here early Friday AM, and then move off NNE.
There's no doubt they are playing with it with all the spraying. Cloudy here now and eerily calm, not normal for early afternoon here. Usually a pretty strong sea-breeze by 1:00.

I have a radio cube that I leave on all morning (from the time I go to bed to the time I wake up. Usually 1am-7am). I can't get to sleep easily unless I have the radio on. And can you really get your brain "programmed" by listening to the radio while you sleep?...
Ok, now back to the main thing with y'all's suggestions. First off, thank you that no one mentioned Howard Stern or Air America. As for balance in what I listen to/watch, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin don't just talk to people that agree with them. For example, yesterday, I heard this caller on the Sean Hannity show who would probably fit right in here at F-SHOD. I forget if it was a man or a woman, but they were ranting about a Jew conspiracy (or something like that). Also, I've heard Hannity and Levin come down hard on Republicans when they start to turn away from the principles of Ronald Reagan. I've heard Sean criticize Bush many times on border security/illegal immigration. As for Fox News, when they discuss a topic, 99% of the time they have people from both sides of the issue debating the topic (and it can get pretty heated). I've seen part of an episode of "Hardball", and I don't think they ever have anyone with an opposing viewpoint (though I could be wrong about that). As for Mac's suggestion that I read a book, I'm slowly working my way through "Chains of Command" by Dale Brown. I wandered into a used book store yesterday and enquired of the owner if he had any books by Tesla. He checked his computer and noted that they had sold a notebook actually authored by Tesla called the Colorado Springs Notes?? and published circa 190? which his mother sold to a customer for $116.00 The young man remembered the book coming into the store as being very old and paperback. I think I will go back and get the title, date of pub....SSC..Could you look this up on your system? Tesla is not known for publishing and it struck me that this would have been extremely rare regardless. I would be interested in knowing about any other "books" that Tesla may have published.

As for Israel's actions, last night I heard from Shephard Smith (who's right near the Israel/Lebanon border) that Israel has SF teams in Lebanon that are "painting" targets for the F-16s to launch the guided bombs at. Shep said that the reason they're doing that is to minimize civilian casualties. In war, there are ALWAYS civilian casualties. I can't think of a war where there weren't any. The other thing is that Hezbollah is hiding in civilian buildings, which is what Saddam's troops did when we went into Iraq. We were very selective about our targets, and so is Israel. It's tragic that civilians were killed, but I think that Israel's showing considerable restraint by not carpet-bombing Lebanon...

Actually, there's someone who does more name-calling in a half-hour of his show, than Hannity does in all 3 hours of his show. That someone is Mark Levin. The only reason why there will be no carpet-bombing of Lebanon is the result will be 100,000 dead American and British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. In my own opinion, the two occupied countries are already showing 'great restraint'. And so is Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Iran.
The pictures on the Net of dead Lebonese children may not have filtered down to the masses in Asia. It will spark a tinderbox, with Saddam and Osama (if he really is alive) having the last laugh.

With appologies to you all, I have to write the following, because I'm saddended, and disgusted with John's posts on the 'restraint' Israel is showing. And what appears to be his glee at yet another war starting.

It is not my intent to beat on you, and I realize you are young and it appears live a very sheltered life.
First off 'we' aren't doing anything. You are sitting home watching all this unfold. if you want to use the we word, go down to the Marines, or another service and join up. Then you can say we.
As a young man of 20 or so during the Viet Nam war I drove a truck on one the largest naval bases on the east coast. At the time ships from the base were coming and going from the war zone. One of my daily stops was at the naval hospital. Every day I passed by guys missing arms, legs, and eyes etc. There were guys there trying to get off heroin, and others just totally fucked up from the experience in the war zone. If it is such a kick for you to see all this killing and mayhem, I respectfully suggest you go to the nearest military hospital where these brave men and women come back to be treated and visit them. Maybe then you will get a real perspective as to what the true cost of war is. It ain't no video game.
Sorry, John if this sounds tough. But there is a cost to all of this. And we haven't even begun to pay for it yet. There are still men and women today living with the nightmare they lived through 30 years ago. It is a waste.
With a lottery number in the 300's I was fortunate enough to have missed having to go. But not a day goes by that I don't feel a small tinge of guilt that others had to go just by the luck of the draw. Everyone that lived through that period was touched in some way. I'm tired of war and killing and hope as people we can get beyond this.

Bubba hyde, I started to look at those pictures, thinking that they'd be the same pics that Fox News shows as commercial bumpers. I couldn't get through the whole thing, because, although I can watch most "CSI" episodes without getting sick, I was getting very disgusted with those pictures. There's a good reason that no news station will show them; they're too graphic. If, by chance, some kids are watching the news, and see those pictures, and get traumatized, the news station could face a ton of lawsuits (which is why, when they DO show graphic pictures, they're blurred over the graphic parts)...

Israel has shown a LOT of restraint so far, but I'm almost positive that very soon, they're gonna start a ground invasion. Why else would they be massing tanks and troops on the Lebanon border? As for why there are evacuations in southern Lebanon, they want to keep civilian causualties to a minimum (I say "to a minimum", because probably not all the civilians will want to leave. They stay there at their own risk.). This is another example of them showing their restraint. They could've just stormed in there with no warning whatsoever and started shooting anything that moved. They don't want to do that, because the main objective here is to get rid of Hezbollah while keeping the fledgling government intact. I'm disappointed that the majority of the Lebanese Army has said that it would fight alongside Hezbollah if Israel invaded. I would think that they would want the terrorists dead as much as Israel...
As for what you said regarding the aircraft that I see being...

As I read John's posts, I can't believe anyone could look at those war victim pictures and be utterly devoid of compassion as John appears to be and also completely miss the point of the pictures.
Regrettably, I don't see any further point in trying to persuade John of anything since he apparently loves death and killing and will believe everything his neo-con masters tell him.
I find John's lack of compassion for the suffering of others and total abstraction of death to be the most terrifying of all. Yet that terror is mixed with disgust because John is such a pansy about the actual results of war and killing innocent people courtesy of our tax dollars.

Tesla List is ready:
What I've done was an author search using the WorldCat portion of the OCLC FirstSearch database. It is a list of all the holdings of material on Tesla in libraries for at least the United States possibly elsewhere.
In order to create the list, I copy and pasted into Microsoft Word and edited out all of the junk that doesn't contribute to the citation. That got it down to twenty pages. At first, the list will seem repetitive in places, but you'll notice that you are looking at different editions and formats for Tesla material.
The links won't work. However, some of the larger public libraries may have a version of OCLC FirstSearch available if the library has public access electronic databases and you can do your own searches for material of interest. As it is, the information is at least enough to see if your library has it or to fill out an interlibrary loan request to have it sent to you.
If you have Microsoft Word, and want a copy, let me know via e-mail and I will send it to you. I have to do it from my work computer. Anytime I fire one off, I get to count it as a reference transaction!

I have friends of many beliefs whether it be spiritual or religious in an organised fashion, all of them are sickened by current events. Particularly my Jewish friend who feels her religion has been taken over by political extremists. She has said to me more than once that Israel in many ways has become the very thing it hated. This saddens her greatly, but not as much as the suffering she sees of all innocent people in that region.

Here's a company named "tesla Motors" A guy named Everhard, based in the silicon valley
seems to have a pretty cool product, he's backed by some 60 million USD (investors include

Went out today and met a fierce storm. My first hour and
a half watched approaching monsoonal lightning strikes
while no wind-very cool lightning strikes hitting the
ground less than 3 miles away. Then the storm hit, I hunkered down holding
my rigged sail and board (if I hadnt held them they would
have flown away, the winds hit well over 50 mph as felt
by stinging sand (it felt like I was being sliced open, I
mean it REALLY hurt especially when my t-shirt flung up over
my shoulders. Then got out for some epic sailing. The wind
was way too much, I was handlebarred twice-catapulted way in
front of my sail, literally like being slingshoted into the
water. The rest of the time I barely managed to hold on lol.
I was way over powered w/ my 7.4 meter sail but I've never
covered so much water so fast before. I actually think a
smaller sail would have had me going quite a bit faster
as my big sail created too much drag. Here's the stats from
an observation point located about 6 miles away.

overall it was excellent, must have been doing over 35 knots but limiting my speed a lot because
I was holding on to way too much sail.

Weird how much the wind directions were shifting, for part of the time it felt surreal, as the wind
seemed to have this weird otherworldly lifting effect on the sail and board, lol probably a tornado.

The crude way stats are kept in my library, anytime I send out a copy of the Tesla list I make a hash mark on a form at the periodicals desk. The nature of the transaction is not recorded, they're more interested in the numbers than what took place.
I'm not sure what my library would do in the case you presented with a book being taken before it gets to the shelves. I'd like to think that our library would fight, but given some of the insane behaviour displayed by our director/ceo (you can see in her title what part of the problem is)front line staff don't have any faith she will stand up for protecting patrons' privacy. She has already allowed the police to take away internet computers for who knows what purpose to the horror of the rest of the staff.
How much power do librarians have over the books on the shelves? A lot. First all of the department managers get together in a room do something called "book selection" They take patron recommendations, book reviews from a variety of sources and decide which or if all locations want a particular book or not.
The more frightening power librarians have over books is the weeding process. There is a claimed process that determines whether or not a book is pulled but reality seems to indicate the real criteria is how many times did it circulate and how pretty is the cover. Now having said that, there are things in libraries that are "time-sensitive" in that the information contained therein is deliberately intendeded to have a short shelf life. Those things are generally found in periodicals.
But what happens so often in the weeding process that makes me so angry is that young librarians who are shockingly not well read are the ones pulling the books to be discarded. Fortunately, a dear friend of mine is for the moment in charge of the circulation department and she has rescued many books and put them back on the shelf after instructing the younger staff as to why these books are important to keep.
But when they get around to hiring a new manager, who knows what will happen next. Too many of our books have already ended up in the library's used book store in the basement. I rescue what I can.
Thanks to an over-reliance on computers, the new crop of librarians are amazingly not very well read people. It seems to count against you if you are. The recent stats at my library show a huge increase in circulation but a closer look shows that the circulation of books have plummeted while the circulation of movies on DVD have soared. The only area where the circulation of books has gone up is in interlibrary loan.
I used to love libraries, but now they are like everything else that has become corporate. Lowest common denominator. Fortunately, I have my own library at home. Library schools became obsessed with "The Business Model of Libraries". This is easily the worst thing to happen to libraries since the burning of the library in Alexandria. This mindset will do more harm to libraries than you can imagine. For librarians who still care, this means a constant battle for the soul of libraries. This is being waged on a daily basis where I work. In a way, you could say there is an owl and roosters thing going on, but that is an oversimplification.

Practice a little yoga, Tai-Chi or Pilates. Train your body and your mind to be healthy and alert.
These are the things that make you a participant in life, rather than a spectator. These are a few of the things that ultimately help set you free. Stay alert, because you won't want to miss what's coming."

The 100,000 figure is one that's been out for a while, it refers to hospitalized patients
that die while in the the hospital and it refers directly with medications given, not
given, wrong dose, wrong med. etc. The figure is open to interpretation because of all
of the variables. It's probably much higher, -according to some people in the industry.

In the above reference the year was 1994, the numbers were printed in JAMA. The actual
incidence of adverse drug reactions is in the millions. The chemical mixing is way beyond
the scope of both physicians and pharmacists. They have their lists of meds that don't
mix, but that list is basic. Reactions to meds is an ongoing trauma. Basically try to
keep your med list as short as possible and don't take more than one med for the same
condition, such as vytorin for cholesterol-it has 2 different drugs combined, of course
both have potential problems, now you've unwittingly increased your odds of side effects.
If you want to decrease your cholesterol, do it naturally.
Eat a handful of raw almonds every day, have your cholesterol levels checked, then tell
your doctor HOW you did it. He or she will absolutely freak, they probably won't believe
you either. Save your liver for truly EXOTIC drugs and alcohol! har har

DJB and Bryansail...Pharma and the psychiatry industry have been trying to usurp the "witch doctor" powers of persuasion in an ongoing assault on the psyche right from the beginning. If they could patent water they would have done it.
I'm not trying to be alarmist here but the facts are that I have had numerous heart attacks beginning in 1997 with my last one being 2003. My doctors prescribed statins against my own protestations that Baycol was the drug of month that killed my mother. In 2005, I refused to take Lipitor so they moved me to Creastor which in fact, is the strongest of the statins. More research and I decided to discontinue all prescriptions. My family doctor (an import from South Africa) was notified and his response was that he no longer wanted me as a patient.
Statins are a very complex toxic substance and my preference is higher this and lower that cholesterol over the side effects of the statins. I'm still messed up but my recent discovery of coenzyeme Q10 means that at least I can walk more that 50 feet before I suffer from a complete oxygen depletion in my legs and feet. This is a permanent disability and it has been hard to talk about especially in a public forum like this one.
The side effects of statins in at least my case, were similar to the condition my mother developed which evenually put her in an early grave.
Baycol Lawsuit Information
Baycol is a drug prescribed to control cholesterol levels that has met with many problems over the past few years. Over 100 people have died after taking baycol and many others have developed rhabdomyalosis.

I wonder if Nikola approved. We had 1,100 lightning strikes within view of Kamloops last night. Awesome. You know how hard it is to get pix of lightning? I managed to video tape o ton of strikes. One of the best was a strike on a mountain 6 miles north of my place. Interesting in real time you see "a" lightning bolt. On the DVD I made, it shows at least 10 separate events or strikes. They just love their poisons that are supposed to heal you, don't they?...like the good'ol Snake Oil Salesmen that they are.
I posted a while back the thing about only using a poison to help someone IF they've been poisoned with that poison (I believe
this is the basis of anti-snakebite serum). You don't poison an already sick person.
Ericswan, I never realised you had a disability like this. I have one myself from these meds I was given as a kid which is
basically arthritic in nature mixed up with a whole bunch of emotional problems from this med. Are you a member of any local
disability organisations ? Just being in a room with other people with similiar problems can make a huge difference,
and of course advice about what help is actually available and people to look up/order health remedies, etc.

I think the last 30/40 or so years of this will be seen as a VERY dark time for the human race. the sufferring caused is untold
and in a lot of cases unfaced. At the moment I think of things in my usual Taoistic fashion. If I've been through a dark period
for the last 30 years, then, to rebalance, I should be moving into and seeking LIGHT experiences...don't know if that helps...
