Attention All Hands

Deep Impact and Shoemaker-Levy 9
To place the Deep Impact events in perspective, advocates of the electric comet model remind us of the crash of the comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 into Jupiter in 1994.
For some time now the electrical theorists have noted that the institutionalization of scientific inquiry, in combination with funding requirements, has encouraged a short attention span. The things that do not fit prior theory elicit a momentary expression of surprise, but as the events pass from view they are quickly forgotten. “What we cannot comprehend, we shall forget”.
So it is that already the stupendous explosion produced by Deep Impact—the blast of light that shocked every member of the investigative team—is fading from the consciousness of the investigators. And just two weeks after Deep Impact, all discussion of the equally remarkable advanced flash has ceased. Perhaps none of the NASA scientists knew that the electrical theorists had predicted these events in advance.
Here is an interesting fact. When looking forward to the Deep Impact mission in October 2001, Wallace Thornhill observed: “…the energetic effects of the encounter should exceed that of a simple physical impact, in the same way that was seen with comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 fragments at Jupiter.” We gave the reasoning in our predictions posted early in the day, July 3: The energy of the explosion will not come just from a collision of solid bodies, but will include the electrical contribution of the comet.
Thornhill had not forgotten an earlier surprise, though it appears that no one involved in Deep Impact remembered what happened when comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 approached Jupiter in the summer of 1994. Astronomers expected the encounter to be a trivial event. “You won’t see anything. The comet crash will probably amount to nothing more than a bunch of pebbles falling into an ocean 500 million miles from Earth.” Then came the encounter and an about face. As reported by Sky & Telescope, “When Fragment ‘A’ hit the giant planet, it threw up a fireball so unexpectedly bright that it seemed to knock the world’s astronomical community off its feet.” So a brief summary of some of those earlier events are provided below. The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) detected a flare-up of fragment “G” of Shoemaker-Levy long before impact at a distance of 2.3 million miles from Jupiter. For the electrical theorists this flash would occur as the fragment crossed Jupiter’s plasma sheath, or magnetosphere boundary. Thornhill comments: “A plasma sheath, or ‘double layer’, is a region of strong electric field, so the outburst there of an electrified comet nucleus is expected. The outburst was a surprise to astronomers. Hubble’s Faint Object Spectrograph (FOS) recorded strong emissions from fragment ‘G’ of ionized magnesium but no hydroxyl radical (OH), expected from water ice”. Also, after the flare-up in magnesium emissions there was a “dramatic change in the light reflected from the dust particles in the comet”. All told, the similarities to the Deep Impact flash are remarkable.
Just after the impact of SL-9 fragment “K”, HST detected unusual auroral activity that was brighter than Jupiter’s normal aurora and outside their normal area. Radiation belts were disrupted. There were unexpectedly bright X-ray emissions at the time of impact. But one mystery was never explained satisfactorily: Early impact events were hidden from the Earth behind Jupiter’s limb. However, the Galileo spacecraft was positioned 150 million miles away from Jupiter at an angle that gave it a ringside seat for these events. But Earth-based observatories saw some of the impacts start at the same time Galileo did. “In effect, we are seeing something we didn’t think we had any right to see,” said Dr. Andrew Ingersoll of Caltech. “...it seems clear that something was happening high enough to be seen beyond the curve of the planet,” said Galileo Project scientist Dr. Torrence Johnson of JPL.
None of these discoveries is surprising if comets are highly electrically charged with respect to their environment. Radio astronomers had expected radio emissions from Jupiter at high frequencies to drop because dust from SL-9 fragments would absorb electrons from the radiation belts, where the electrons emit synchrotron radiation. Instead, observers were surprised to find that emissions around 2.3 GHz rose by 20-30%. “Never in 23 years of Jupiter observations have we seen such a rapid and intense increase in radio emission,” said Michael Klein of JPL. “Extra electrons were supplied by a source which is a mystery.” It never occurred to anyone that the charged comet was the source of the electrons.
Will the rapid exclusion of uncomfortable facts continue as we await data analysis of Deep Impact? In tomorrow’s Picture of the Day, we shall list the urgent questions yet unanswered as NASA officials have fallen into silence, even withdrawing much of the visual material formerly available on the Deep Impact website.

The Silence of the Trolls will actually be hard to get used to. The real world or that small part of the real world called the Internet, doesn't work that way. I'm thinking about misinformation. Just because the issue makes it into the pages of FSHOD will not make it better more truthful less lascivious.
Here's my point with an example. Capitol Hill went into a lock down last week. Shots fired in a garage turns out to be construction work. Or does it? I am a trained and experienced journalist. The real issue concerning a search and seizure of a congress member's papers is the 45 day cool down that Bush has instigated. If he gets away with breaking yet one more law with impunity there will be no looking back.

PAP must address 'negative Internet'
SHE was a new face representing the People's Action Party, but when Ms Denise Phua surfed the Internet during the recent General Election, the tone of the postings stunned her.
They were overwhelmingly slanted against the ruling party.
"I know that something has gone wrong when more than 85 per cent (of the traffic) writes negatively about the PAP," she said at a post-mortem of the GE organised last night by the National University of Singapore Society.
"This is something that the PAP would do well to take into account ... and to manage this channel of communication," she added.
Ms Phua stressed that she was not dismissing the views posted on the Internet nor even disagreeing with them. Her concern was more that the coverage was not balanced.

An excellent idea, frankly. Reminds me of an argument I had waaay back in high school that nearly got me thrown out of class, hehehe. The "lecture" was all about why the barter system didn't work and economy became necessary. I was only 15 or so, at the time, and frankly the entire discussion set off my bullshit detector like nobody's business and I suppose my only problem was my lack of fear at saying so. It was the point that I suggested that the only ones opposed to a barter system were the lazy-ass fuckers who found stockpiling money off the backs of their working class to be a lot more attractive than actually working. Like I said, damn near got me thrown outta class, hehehe.

Well, I'm pretty sure there's a difference and control would be the desired thing to have as it brings power with it. The best example I can think of would be to suggest what happened to the power of the nobility of czarist Russia once they lost control of the working class. The fact that the end result was the establishment of an even more ruthless ruling class has a lot to do with why I despair for our species sometimes.

I just wanted to say thanks for bringing that back up about that 45 day cooling period. I think my comment got lost in the swirling madness of the last blog, but I had suggested that the end of it could see one of two scenarios:
1.) All will be forgiven and the investigations on Congress dropped along with a complete covering over of any insinuation of wrongdoing by the Administration. Quid-pro-quo, anyone?
OR
2.) Things could get really UGLY, really FAST.
Considering the overwhelming tendency towards corruption and the Cover Yer Ass mentality of those in power, I'm willing to bet on number 1. If that's what happens, though, I think we would be sorely remiss to just let it slide which is what they'll be counting on, to be sure.

Wrong again John..The lightning was not lightning..The Columbia was not a fireball. The foam was ice not foam and the reason that NASA failed so miserably on all counts is the fact that they are already on the Moon and could care less about the "public program" as the O ring fiasco which destroyed the previous launch and Columbia both faced the same issue of cooling the launch pad with a flood of water just prior to ignition which then sublimates or condensates as ice on the hull due to the temperature at launch. The same thing applies when launching through certain cloud cover.

It's not the American people that are hated, but the policy of the people in power. Sooner or later this is all going to blow up in Ole Dubya's face along with his cronies. Rioting in Afganistan, and lots of bloodshed in Iraq. Yeah we need to go into Iran now-not.

The Noam Chomsky article was totally spot on. I hope that it's not really over for America yet (since I live here!) and that somehow this country pulls back from the brink and comes to its senses.
I can't see how Bush and Co.,can continue at this rate without a major backlash. Even sheeple when sufficiently provoked will not take anymore of this crap, and I think we are closer than ever before to that. Conversations, I've either participated in over the holiday or overheard leads me to think that even the "conservative" people in my area are just as fed up as the "liberal" people are and in some cases share much agreement over what is wrong. Which actually surprised me. I live in Kentucky where we are having the national embarassment of a Republican governor caught in corruption after campaiging on the platform of "cleaning up waste, fraud and abuse". Naturally, he and his cronies only substituted their brand of it.
The crux of it is that locally and nationally certain leaders who claimed to be conservative have acted in a manner of supreme arrogance and carried out policies that conserve nothing and squander everything. Only the most brainwashed continue to think everything is fine as things are. But now, I see fewer of these people and more of those who have just swallowed the Red Pill and said: "oh, shit!" when they woke up.
Of course, rising up as a people fed up with corruption and stupidity might get used as an excuse for martial law but that remains to be seen.

Have to agree with your assessment. I am hearing the same things and I live in one of the most liberal of states. We've had a mayor go to prison in the past few years for corruption and recently the owners of the dog track/ casino go to prison for bribery of state officials for favorable legislation for licencing. Ongoing investigations of an insurance co. and a large healthcare facility, both state financed. We are competing for the the corruption capital of the country I think. We used to be the car theft capitall of New England, but since we lost that I guess we need something else.
As for the threat of martial law; it's working well in Iraq and Afganistan huh?

The difference possibly between the average citizen of Iraq and Afghanistan and say, Kentucky, is that the average Kentuckian has always been armed to the teeth. Especially in the rural counties where martial law will probably not go over so well. In my opinion this is partially the result of how Kentucky was treated after the War Between the States even though Kentucky was officially neutral during the conflict. Which resulted in a lot of bitterness towards the Federal government and you can go almost anywhere south or east of the Bluegrass region and its palpable at times. It was as though the commonwealth seceded after the war was over in the hearts of many Kentuckians. Any attempt by the Federal government to declare martial law will probably result in guerrila warfare. At least around here.
I'd like to think that people are not really that blind deaf and dumb. I would like to think that all sides, regardless of race, creed or whatever can see the deceit and wrong being committed in the good name of our country. Especially our military. Those people have been the "tools" of the neo-con PNAC since day one. Do they not have thoughts of what is right and what is wrong? Or, have they been washed clean of all honor and dignity? I'd like to think not. There are regular folks over there being asked to do things that are out and out wrong. Can a backlash happen to put the leadership on trial in The Hague? There is the $64,000 question. WMR says no. Who else will say No? It is something of a pipe dream but you would like to think that justice, the thing that all prosecutors get on their soapbox about, would be served. As the shrub says, "No one is above the law". Phil Schneider, a very brave man, recently lost his life due to what appeared to be a military-style execution in January 1996. He was found dead in his apartment with piano wire still wrapped around his neck. According to some sources, he had been brutally tortured repeated before being killed. Phil Schneider was an ex-government engineer who was involved in building underground bases. He was one of three people to survive the 1979 fire fight between the large Greys and U.S. intelligence and military forces at Dulce underground base.
In May 1995, Phil Schneider did a lecture on what he had discovered. Seven months later he was tortured and killed by those for whom he had previously worked. This man's final acts should not go unnoticed.

This is why it is easy to understand that back in 1943 they were able to create, through the use of vaccum tube technology, a ship that could literally disappear from one place and appear in another place. My father, Otto Oscar Schneider, fought on both sides of the war. He was originally a U-boat captain, and was captured and repatriated in the United States. He was involved with different kinds of concerns, such as the A-bomb, the H-bomb and the Philadelphia Experiment. He invented a high-speed camera that took pictures of the first atomic tests at Bikini Island on July 12, 1946. I have original photographs of that test, and the photos also show UFO's fleeing the bomb site at a high rate of speed. Bikini Island at the time was infested with them, especially under the water, and the natives had problems with their animals being mutilated. At that time, General MacArthur felt that the next war would be with aliens from other worlds.
"Anyway, my father laid the groundwork with theoreticians about the Philadelphia experiment, as well as other experiments. What does that have to do with me? Nothing, other than the fact that he was my father. I don't agree with what he did on the other side, but I think he had a lot of guts in coming here. He was hated in Germany. There was a $1 million reward, payable in gold, to anyone who killed him. Obviously, they didn't succeed. Anyway, back to our topic - deep underground bases.
The Fire Fight At Dulce Base
"Back in 1954, under the Eisenhower administration, the federal government decided to circumvent the Constitution of the United States and form a treaty with alien entities. It was called the 1954 Greada Treaty, which basically made the agreement that the aliens involved could take a few cows and test their implanting techniques on a few human beings, but that they had to give details about the people involved. Slowly, the aliens altered the bargain until they decided they wouldn't abide by it at all. Back in 1979, this was the reality, and the fire-fight at Dulce occurred quite by accident. I was involved in building an addition to the deep underground military base at Dulce, which is probably the deepest base. It goes down seven levels and over 2.5 miles deep. At that particular time, we had drilled four distinct holes in the desert, and we were going to link them together and blow out large sections at a time. My job was to go down the holes and check the rock samples, and recommend the explosive to deal with the particular rock. As I was headed down there, we found outselves amidst a large cavern that was full of outer-space aliens, otherwise known as large Greys. I shot two of them. At that time, there were 30 people down there. About 40 more came down after this started, and all of them got killed. We had surpised a whole underground base of existing aliens. Later, we found out that they had been living on our planet for a long time, perhaps a million years. This could explain a lot of what is behind the theory of ancient astronauts.
"Anyway, I got shot in the chest with one of their weapons, which was a box on their body, that blew a hole in me and gave me a nasty dose of cobalt radiation. I have had cancer because of that.
"I didn't get really interested in UFO technology until I started work at Area 51, north of Las Vegas. After about two years recuperating after the 1979 incident, I went back to work for Morrison and Knudson, EG&G and other companies. At Area 51, they were testing all kinds of peculiar spacecraft. How many people here are familiar with Bob Lazar's story? He was a physicist working at Area 51 trying to decipher the propulsion factor in some of these craft.
Schneider's Worries About Government Factions, Railroad Cars and Shackle Contracts
"Now, I am very worried about the activity of the the federal government. They have lied to the public, stonewalled senators, and have refused to tell the truth in regard to alien matters. I can go on and on. I can tell you that I am rather disgruntled. Recently, I knew someone who lived near where I live in Portland, Oregon. He worked at Gunderson Steel Fabrication, where they make railroad cars. Now, I knew this fellow for the better part of 30 years, and he was kind of a quiet type. He came in to see me one day, excited, and he told me "they're building prisoner cars." He was nervous. Gunderson, he said, had a contract with the federal government to build 107,200 full length railroad cars, each with 143 pairs of shackles. There are 11 sub-contractors in this giant project. Supposedly, Gunderson got over 2 billion dollars for the contract. Bethlehem Steel and other steel outfits are involved. He showed me one of the cars in the rail yards in North Portland. He was right. If you multiply 107,200 times 143 times 11, you come up with about 15,000,000. This is probably the number of people who disagree with the federal government. No more can you vote any of these people out of office. Our present structure of government is "technocracy", not democracy, and it is a form of feudalism. It has nothing to do with the republic of the United States. These people are god-less, and have legislated out prayer in public schools. You can get fined up to $100,000 and two years in prison for praying in school. I believe we can do better. I also believe that the federal government is running the gambit of enslaving the people of the United States. I am not a very good speaker, but I'll keep shooting my mouth off until somebody puts a bullet in me, because it's worth it to talk to a group like this about these atrocities.
America's Black Program Contractors
"There are other problems. I have some interesting 1993 figures. There are 29 prototype stealth aircraft presently. The budget from the U.S. Congress five-year plan for these is $245.6 million. You couldn't buy the spare parts for these black programs for that amount. So, we've been lied to. The black budget is roughly $1.3 trillion every two years. A trillion is a thousand billion. A trillion dollars weighs 11 tons. The U.S. Congress never sees the books involved with this clandestine pot of gold. "First, they came out and said it was a 1,000 pound fertilizer bomb. Then, it was 1,500. Then 2,000 pounds. Now its 20,000. You can't put 20,000 pounds of fertilizer in a Rider Truck. Now, I've never mixed explosives, per se. I know the chemical structure and the application of construction explosives. My reputation was based on it. I helped hollow out more than 13 deep underground military bases in the United States. I worked on the Malta project, in West Germany, in Spain and in Italy. I can tell you from experience that a nitrate explosion would not have hardly shattered the windows of the federal building in Oklahoma City. It would have killed a few people and knocked part of the facing off the building, but it would have never have done that kind of damage. I believe I have been lied to, and I am not taking it any longer, so I'm telling you that you've been lied to.

I knew exactly who they were. I have spoken 19 times and have probably reached 45,000 people. Well, I got ahead of them and came to a stop in the middle of the road. They both went on either side of me and down a ravine. Is this what its going to take? I cut up my security card and sent it back to the government, and told them if I was threatened, and I have been, that I was going to upload 140,000 pages of documentation to the internet about government structure and the whole plan. I have already begun that task.

On a different subject, I was on the recieving end of some really strange weather. Thunderstorms in Kentucky usually follow a pattern of travel across the commonwealth. Yesterday, however, a Wrath of Charlton Heston class storm formed over downtown where I worked. Instead of moving anywhere, it simply expanded and stayed in place. It's been a long time since I've seen a storm THAT severe. Endless lightning and rain so hard that even in buildings it was like being inside an automatic car wash. Wind hard enough to shake our windows at the library.
The storm wreaked a fair amount of havoc downtown and points north. (My modem was a casualty of this, I'm typing from my desk on my lunch hour at work.) The TV weather people seemed perplexed at how the storm formed the way it did. Storms here usually come across the Ohio River and then move east or come from the southwest up from Tennessee. Very strange.
Why build Walls:
1. An excuse to pour money into black holes during the construction phase.
2. Walls come first. Then National Identity Cards as a "safeguard" that those inside the walls, really belong inside ;)
3. Too much illegal marijuana is bad for the sheeple. Better to give them the "legal, government-controlled" versions of Crack, Meth and E.
4. Haliburton has a new security company. They need money, oops, I mean jobs.
5. First walls, then proxy servers and Firewalls. That should be clear enuf.

We just had some storms her in the 10:00 pm hour that were of the Heston class. So much water that the drains couldn't keep up and was about a fott and a half ddep in the neighborhood. Reminded me of downpours in Miami. Bad mojo in that storm. Probably came from your direction, they actually predicted the "drenching thunderstorms" today and it was very hot.

I would off that if there were definitively laid laws of immigration and active enforcement the issue would be a non-issue. To many ways to come in through the back door. If we made it so that entering the crossings was the path of least resistance and aggressively deported those who entered illegally, we would have the control that doesn't exist now. No other country would let people enter their country illegally and say it's ok. My 2 cents after a long day. :) Oh, screw the wall it's a waste of money and a political maneuver.

This document(s) by "One Who Knows", is an excellent read for sure. It has been around for quite awhile.. I have an archived version from 2001 or so, many other linked versions out there too. It's a humdinger. lays out many different angles on LOTS of stuff.. moon landings (or not), weather wars, shuttle shenanigans, Hitler, atom bomb, jfk, jim jones, on and on. incredible stuff. but truth? heh.. well, each reader will have to decide if it's beyond the veil -or not- for them.
I strongly recommend you read it, note your 'belief' level, then stash it away and continue seeking as you have been till now. Then RE-read it a few months/years later and note your 'belief' level again..

Plasma Galaxies
Laboratory experiments, together with advanced simulation capabilities, have shown that electric forces can efficiently organize spiral galaxies, without resorting to the wild card of gravity-only cosmology--the Black Hole.
Many of astronomy's most fundamental mysteries find their resolution in plasma behavior. Why do cosmic bodies spin, asked the distinguished astronomer Fred Hoyle, in summarizing the unanswered questions. The photograph of spiral galaxy M81 above is one of the first images returned by NASA's new Spitzer space telescope, an instrument that can detect extremely faint waves of infrared radiation, or heat, through clouds of dust and plasma that have blocked the view of conventional telescopes. The result is the picture of striking clarity.
Beneath this photograph we have placed snapshots from a computer simulation by plasma scientist Anthony Peratt, illustrating the evolution of galactic structures under the influence of electric currents. Through the "pinch effect", parallel currents converge to produce spiraling structures.
To see the connection between plasma experiments and plasma formations in space, it is essential to understand the scalability of plasma phenomena. Under similar conditions, plasma discharge will produce the same formations irrespective of the size of the event. The same basic patterns will be seen at laboratory, planetary, stellar, and galactic levels. Duration is proportional to size as well. A spark that lasts for microseconds in the laboratory may continue for years at planetary or stellar scales, or for millions of years at galactic or intergalactic scales.
Plasma experiments, backed by computer simulations of plasma discharge, are changing the picture of space. Plasma scientists, for example, are able to replicate the evolution of galactic structures both experimentally and in computer simulations without recourse to a popular fiction of modern astrophysics
--the black hole. Astronomers require invisible, super-compressed matter as the center of galaxies because without Black Holes gravitational equations cannot account for observed movement and compact energetic activity. But charged plasma achieves such effects routinely.

Comedian Carlos Mencia was joking about the wall a couple of months ago, saying "Who do you think is gonna build the wall??? BEANERS!".
In a sad statement of irony, I read yor post and then compared that situation to FSHOD. What started out as 'open territory' was abused by 'undocumented' users to the point I felt forced to erect 'the wall' of members-only. I'd "LOL", but.............
I was listening to the right-winger's radio and they were discussing (HAVE been...for weeks...distraction, hmmmm?) this issue and all the endless and insurmountable problems with erecting a wall, although they are for it. AND the expense!
So I'm thinking, if they are all that pissed and fearful of the 'threat' from los immigrantes, why not jsut save the expense and hassle and grief of walls and id cards and remote-controlled cameras and aircraft....and just start shooting the invaders just as soon as they set foot over the line?
Sounds harsh, but if you consider that this will only have to happen a few times before the word gets around, the numbers illegally entering our country will drop dramatically. Oh Sure, some will still attempt the crossing, but the majority won't risk near-certain death. I think this is the definite low-cost, highest return-on-investment solution and that if our elected representatives are serious about this, we should hold them to it.
A side issue, the NAFTAs and CAFTAs are simply more manuvering by the CFR and their corporate backers to achieve what?...NWO, One World Government? I still insist that our corporate overseers and their government allies (the Secret Cabal?) want nothing more than to have the whole world as shallow and consumer-oriented and marketing-controlled as the USA. We're in a Velvet Trap...our needs and wants for creature comforts are met, but we are nevertheless controlled and eternally owing our souls to the 'company store'. And by the time this is realized, we'll all have RFID chips implanted..no doubt in our genitals, cuz then they'll be able to know where we're going and who we're doing it with...or to, as the case may be.
Startled that Revealations-believing Christians are not Shouting From The Rooftops against all of this, for it certainly sets the stage for John's Antichrist, eh what?
BUT it costs too much and requires way to many resouces to ship them all back.
Shoot the border crossers! Once that is an effective, well publicized program, let it be known that illegals already in the USA can expect the same. Then they will flood back to Mehico on their dime and with their resouces.

Here's how things are done in Singapore
If you employ a foreigner, you got to make sure he/she has a work permit, and for the specified job only.
If you offer a foreigner a room for rent, make sure the work permit is valid.
The offence for not checking (ignorance is no excuse, you see) is a hefty fine in the $10K region and jail for a few months.
So, in the end, citizens are doing the (dirty) job of the Homeland Security Team :)

Here in the land of the tourist we have Guatemalans(sp.) Jamacaicans, Mexicans, you name it. The hospitality industry loves them. Bars and eateries are mostly cash, no? They live jammed into apartments around town where the landlords make a killing. Some of the businesses even own their own buildings that are soley for the 'help'in the summer and rented for the winter to someone else. The nurseries here employ the same pool as above for field work.
I'm with SK and others. I don't think you need to shoot them though. They are only here to make money. Many go back in the winter. One Guatemalan told me what he makes here is like making 5 times what he does doing fieldwork at home. When he goes home he's rich. Then he only has to watch out for the local police who steal the money and abuse them.
Dry up the work and prosecute the employers and you'll see this problem evaporate on it's own. They won't come back if there's no work.
All if this cheap labor makes for a false economy. Buying Chinese or other Asian products does the same thing. We pay cheap prices for things and sooner or later that becomes the price for similar things. We create no wealth in this country anymore. We all have to be making similar money and pay the real price for goods and services for the economic system to work correctly. It's no magic trick. I once read that Henry Ford figured out he had to pay his workers enough to be able to buy one of his cars. When he did that it spread exponentially to the countryside. His workers bought from those around them and they could buy a Model T as well. He spawned a whole economy around him to support his enterprise. We are only kidding ourselves when we think we are getting a deal at WalMart.
Take a look a Starbucks. As much as they are made light of for their trendiness, the stock just keeps going up. It split just recently. Shultz started fair trade coffee and even Dunkin' Donuts signed on. They charge what it costs to operate at a profit and people beat a path to the door. My daughter works part time for them and gets 10.50 an hour, health benefits, a 401K and stock options. Where else can you get that for serving joe? Managers make way more. It's possible to do it right and make a profit.
Costco the whipping boy of Wall St. for not becoming WalMart, just showed a jump in their bottom line as WalMart was predicting a drop in theirs. It's time to wake up before we become the next Mexico.

I think the hot button this time will be the Media. We've got the NY Times supplying James Risen (author of State of War, recommended reading,) one of two NYT reporters who exposed the alleged NSA surveillance of communications in the United States. We've got Dana Priest of the Washington Post exposing alleged secret CIA detention facilities in foreign countries.
Plus we have the current flap over the alleged killing of innocents at Haditha and the right-wing sources are screaming over the media's 'rush to judgement'.
Former Drug Czar (under Bush the First), gambling addict and now radio talk show host Bill Bennett has led the charge against the media. He has been somewhat of a lone voice calling for the prosecution of reporters and those who leak to reporters, especially in 'whoa time' ('war time' for those of you in the North). Well, he's been beating the drum loud enough for someone to take notice!
Someone posted a link here the other day about the government making it a punishable offense for ANY government worker to leak information to the press. And here's a repeat of a link posted the other day be a Shoddie about the Bush Administration planting 'faux' news stories, something we've heard about some time now. So we know that this bunch of sharpies is not above doing this kind of thing.
So they have the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary branches of Government in their hands...and I think the 'boiling', dividing issue will be the media...cuz once they have domination of 'the 4th Estate', then they got things pretty well wrapped up.
But, then, I ain't that smart.

RE: Condi and Bush. While sitting at the pool all week I happened upon some good fluff reading a la The Examiner. They too are reporting that the Bush marriage is in crisis and that Bush has been hitting the bottle with greater and more disasterous frequency. They didn't dare touch the Condi/ Bush angle, but it wouldn't suprise me.

It also seems to become irrelavent. The people behind the curtain would rather we are all chasing the miriad details and not pay attention to what they are doing in the backround. Dr. Greer also brought up the bogus invasion from space as a pretext for global domination in the guise of 'saving' us from the aliens.
He also said that the black ops folks had faux ufo's, and aliens so they could point to them as existing and a real threat. Of course they are all hostile and want to take us out.

Regarding the wall. Walls like this suck, I rub shoulders with 1st generation immigrants
daily. No need to deepen divisions. It props up very
negative undertones and emphasises differences. A huge wall
extending out as far as the eye can see is a foolish waste that
focuses too much attention in the wrong direction.
A wall is just ugly eye dressing and bo you're right that it
wouldn't work anyway. The place to hit them is with
employment. Go after companies and individuals hiring any non-
residents. What about the humanitarian issues and a
wall? Ouch! It will be very interesting to see what 'solutions' occur, undoubtably
the issue will be big for a long time. It won't surprise me if we
see a bunch of one at a time token actions that won't amount to changing
anything.

Chems today. Formed haze achieved. USAF planes are now flying in sync with bubbles
of supersaturation. But they weren't, the USAF planes left trails this morning but
commercial traffic did not. By the late afternoon all planes were seen leaving some
sort of vapor trail. The USAF routes fly intermittantly but were out in force this morning.
Supersaturation moved in from off of the Pacific and the super spewers were out painting.
I can only speculate as to the effect by the metal sprayers (and HAARP like arrays)
on and just ahead of supersaturation. I am beginning to wonder if the metal sprayers
along with an array boost are now creating supersaturation conditions, seems that
heating may (eventually) be creating the ice crystals present in supersat. conditions.

Comet 73 P update.. I watched a chunk of stardust heading due east at 11:28 PM blog time last night. Difficult window between chemtrails to see anything plus it wasn't actually dark at 9:28 PM Pacific time.

I wonder how deep the fixed elections go. Are the Congressmen hand picked too? Are any elections above the state level not rigged?
Does the shadow gov't have its own police force, and intelligence, or is that how they use the US Military?
When you look at everything else going on and keep that source in mind it all starts to make sense in how it plays out.
My biggest question is why they would put in power such incompetent morons like dubya et al. unless that was the plan to hide some other operation they were working on. As someone here said, it's layer upon layer.

I find it "odd" that all of the "misdeeds" of Dubya and his cronies are coming to light - unless it is for a reason, esp when CIA, FBI, ex-military generals are part of the leaks - their record ain't that clean. When things are this bad, you wonder what the heck are they covering up that we can't see for the forest?

I haven't thought all this through,and there is something missing we can't see, or maybe we do and it's so obvious it looks unimportant.
Suppose the Great Oz,(the guy behind the curtain) wanted to break this country? The only thing that seems to get anyone's attention is MONEY, or lack thereof. Just like someone pointed out with the inflation of money and racking up debt to other countries acted as a tax paid to us, the change to Euros for oil would act in reverse on us.
Not long ago I read a story buried in the back of the paper outlining a deal Saudi Arabia made with China to supply oil. The oil minister remarked that the only interest China had was oil, period. No human rights, no military, no religious concerns, no interference with Saudi Arabia's internal affairs. He said he was relieved and gratified to do business that way. He cited the US as not as pleasant or easy to do business with. His quote was "there are always strings attached". So you are selling oil, or anything for that matter; who would you rather do business with? Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the rest of OPEC have all the oil and they can call the tune whether we like it or not. Europe is ready to pay with Euros or whatever they want. Russia has made noise about wanting Rubles from everyone. They have a ton of oil and natural gas that eastern Europe needs.Not to mention the rest of the resources they have, like gold and uranium etc.
So question #1:
Why did Bush roll over and agree to talk to Iran all of a sudden? Britain, France and Germany didn't back him up on his threats and now he wants to talk. Did he agree to talk to stave off the switch to Euros if he didn't? It would be to Europes advantage to switch. By the way Britain still is using the Pound, and it's up against the dollar.

Who's buying up all the gold? It's up to $687.00 from the high $200.00's a couple of years ago. China, Japan, the rest of the world we owe money to? Maybe hedging in case the dollar tanks because the Euro becomes the tender of choice?
If oil goes to Euros the dollar tanks just on that news. Don't forget the Euro is worth considerably more than the dollar, so the exhange will make anything we have to buy that way cost more right out of the box. And by the way oil closed at $72 and change Friday.
Make our money worthless, and dry up the energy that makes this country operate and you could walk right in here with nothing and take it over. Think of what happens to the average person when the power is off for a few hours. Suppose we all were told it's off and ain't coming on again til we roll over?
We've sold our soveriegnty not by giving up our rights, but by giving up our ability to take care of ourselves. And if you think the dopes in D.C. are going to ride to our rescue think again or ask Nagin how he made out relying on them.
Everything in the country runs on electricity, oil, natural gas or gasoline. No lights no computers etc.
Just a whiff of any of this and the COMEX boys will bid up oil to over $100 in a week. The stock market is reacting to just the past runup, and everything else is following. The housing market cooled, employers are cooling the hiring etc. We could be in a depression that makes the 30's look like nothing.
Maybe the plan is that simple and obvious. It wouldn't take much to get the Asians to go along, since most of the world right now hates our guts for some reason or other. The Mideast is already there and given the right excuse and the Saudi's would tell Dubya to kiss off. They want to stay in power. We can blame the arrogance of the current policymakers for all of that. They never know when to shut up.
My experience has been that most things are simple. When they get complicated it never seems to work the way you intend.
I'm watching and waiting. I think all the other stuff is just a distraction.

You raise some very good and scary points. What I find very interesting is that about 4 months ago my aunt in Canada asked what the US press was saying about the "coming recession". I said WHAT recession...according to everything we are nowwhere near that. She said that all the financial talk in Canda had been of a US LED global recession and that Canada was bracing for it. Needless to say I was kinda shocked. I'm a news JUNKIE and and investor so this was all news to me. Upon calling my Canadian banker he confirmed this. So, as the market has begun to tank I have been thinking...well here we go. I am wondering where the bottom is and what is the tipping point as far a gas prices go, before people simply are broke and can't afford to drive to work.
I think this is going to be a horrible summer and we are all going to be thankful that winter is upon us. I have a really bad feeling regarding the oil platforms in the Gulf. Grendel says the gulf is littered with skeletons of old and not so old ones. He says there is no way we are refining or pumping at capacity here. He thinks that one more Katrina/Rita in the right place wil paralyze the country. I think I have to agree.
We shall see, but in the meantime, I'm pulling out of the stock market and going into CD's

I used to sail a boat for a Wall St. Money Manager. He always told me when gold was going up inflation and recession wasn't far behind. BUT these aren't normal times. There is inflation, mainly from the price of oil going up and dragging everything with it.
I'm up in the Northeast where the property market was way hot and nothing stayed on the market for more than a month and went for stupid money especially in this area. Now the houses are just sitting. More and more for sale signs, and nothing moving. Here we are right before summer, and here that is BIG, and businesses are closing. Waldenbooks just closed 2 stores here in the last month. Not a good sign.
All the hype about the economy is bogus. The average person is in debt up to thier ass and not saving a dime. I'm not trying to be a chicken little but I'm watching the signs and they don't bode well.
If they steer a haarpicane into the Gulf this time the game is over and I hope the scenario I laid out above doesn't happen.
All we can do is wait and watch.

More proof that the Canadian "terror" arrests are a staged PR hoax
This is slide 8 from a Globe & Mail presentation on the "terrorists". Note the caption that admits that the bag of fertilizer was NOT from the arrest. As for the other items, they are a multi-meter and a soldering iron (items found in most homes, including my own) and a box with a cell phone and some other parts dumped into it. However if you look closely, you can see that the wires aren't connected to anything, they are just draped over the cell phone and circuit board to create a pretty picture.
